Pros: Brand new hotel, fresh design. Food and shopping close by. Downtown an easy 5 min and toll road just 1 min away. Staff in the breakfast area was very attentive and helpful.
Cons: Check in process was a little slow. Only on person in front of me and still took over 5 min. But will probably be streamlined as everyone learns the systems.

Pros: 1- spacious, well equipped studio room with fridge, microwave, dish washer, stove. Everything super clean. Even detergent was present. 2- friendly staff, including front desk employee, cleaners, manager. 3- location near shopping center, restaurants.
Pros: excellent breakfast, clean and easy
Pros: The studio rooms are great and the hotel is clean.
Cons: It have yet to see bacon in the breakfast selection.
Pros: location, convenience, price
Cons: Interestingly, the TV is not set up in a good location. It really didn't matter to us because we only stayed one night and had lots of things to accomplish; however, I thought you might like to know that the TV is positioned oddly.
For the price, I would most definitely stay here again.
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: The pull out matress was in need of replacement and the desk chair was also was on its last legs.

Cons: there was a hurricane warning in effect and rooms were at a premium, almost impossible to find. the rate for this room was --- + tax which we felt was high for a two and one half star hotel not conveniently located on an inter state highway. Du
Pros: Came to Lakeland for Miss Florida Pageant. Hotel is about 10 minutes away from Lakeland Center but is adjacent to a great shopping area complete with IMAX (which my daughter and I took full advantage off)! In addition, the staff was AWESOME.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean.
Cons: The breakfast was poor, powder eggs n there were some softball tournaments and it seemed that they packed many people per room n they were all just hanging around the breakfast area in dirty ball uniforms. No seating for guest. No control of people.
Pros: Everything was great. I kept looking for a little refrigerator to keep things cold.
Cons: Need to add refrigerators to rooms.
Pros: very clean ,quiet and very friendly staff. loved our stay and will return
Pros: The room was nice and the location was near new shopping and restaurants.
Cons: Our room was right next to a bar that played loud music and had loud people that kept us awake until 2:00am. Then someone with a loud blower was outside at 4:00am. We spent over $---- for 1 night in this room and it was the worst night of sleep you cou
Very nice accomodations.
Pros: Good place for meeting family.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved every aspect of this hotel. Continental breakfast excellant. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Loud music from local bar on Friday a little annoying. Exhaust fan in bathroom broken. Very slow elevators. All things that were manageable.
Pros: Close to shopping, restaurants and the Lakeland Center.
Cons: I have no complaints.
Pros: No surprises. Thanks.
Cons: There is a bar directly in front of the hotel. On Friday and Saturday nights, a live band plays until 11:00 or later. Even-numbered rooms get an earful. We turned the fan on automatic and were able to sleep, I don't know about everyone else.
Liked the security in the parking lot Breakfast was good too.
Pros: Room and location Quiet

Pros: Love this hotel
Noisy neighbors made it difficult to sleep at night
Cons: Noises at night from nearby room
Pros: Location near all downtown restaurants. Restaurant in hotel good. Free valet parking. Room good size. Carpet was worn and rippling, room had prime view of parking structure. Freight trains operate all night and pretty loud on north side of building, staff at desk a bit rude. Hotel hardly full and room no great shakes so either they have no better or they aren't smart enough to figure out using best rooms gets repeat business. Had mini frig, safe and coffee maker which was good. Water pressure not great.
Pros: Location, food, staff
Cons: Shower pressure is horrible. I understand that everyone needs to power save but is better to look into the water leak in room when water is off and give more when on.
Pros: Downtown location, Walking distance to almost everything. This is a classic hotel, but built for traveler's from 1915 not 2015. Rooms and elevators are smaller, but still comfortable; think studio apts. Marble and carpet floors, complementary valet parking (please tip!) and a great restaurant (though expensive, dinner for 2 will be $100+). Everything is clean and well kept, staff is friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!! Just know what you are getting. We are typically B&B folks and not partial to the chain named hotels/motels. This has become one of our 'return to' destinations and hotel. Thank you for a great vacation.
Pros: Character and history of the hotel.
Cons: Continental breakfast was pastries, apples and coffee only. Rooms were so-so but need renovations. Bathroom fixtures were semi-functional and cheap. Food was overpriced at the hotel's in-house restaurant.
Pros: Location, Staff, History, Bar & Restraunt
Cons: Older hotel and does need some updating.
Pros: Historic setting, general lay-out.
Cons: Room needed updated.
Cons: table lamps were not working.
Cons: Facilities were subpar. It is a very old hotel and it shows. The staff while outwardly friendly did not seem to very well trained. The bar staff was friendly but the selection made it seem more like a cash bar at a cheap wedding than a quality full service bar. The breakfast is not a breakfast. It is coffee and a snack as you decide where you are actually going to go to eat breakfast.
Pros: Great Locations
Right downtown - near a great park and farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Also next to a lake you can walk around.
Staff is very nice and friendly and helpful
Cons: the bathroom is outdated a bit and the carpet needed some work.
Pros: The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was good (although a bit limited). I would definitely stay here again.
When you stay at The Terrace Hotel, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Polk Museum of Art and Joker Marchant Stadium. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at The Terrace Grille, which serves lunch and dinner. Other highlights at this boutique hotel include a bar/lounge, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and room service.
Pros: The staff and facilities were great . Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good .
Cons: Only down fall was during the time I was there , there was also a girl softball tournaments. A girls ballet , and a young girl dance performance. Children roaming the hallways playing on luggage carts hitting things and running up and down hallway.
Pros: Great customer service & treatment at the front counter.
Pros: We usually look for A Hyatt Place when we travel because of the large rooms with a separation. We have 2 small children and the room was plenty big enough for a pack n play and the sofa bed out. Staff were extremely helpful with recommendations on local places to go and assistance during breakfast (clearing plates, getting hair chairs) Can't say enough good things about our visit.
Pros: Was visiting student at Florida Southern College which is only a few miles from the hotel. Very spacious and comfortable room. Loved being able to get a glass of wine there at the bar area. Sat by the pool in the morning as I was up early, and it was lovely. All around, probably the best place to stay in Lakeland.
Cons: Coffee dispenser was empty Sunday morning. Seemed to take a long time to have it refilled, but maybe I was just super impatient.
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. On top of that the breakfast spread is delicious!
Pros: Staff was nice !!
Cons: The room was musky smell and the rugs had nasty stains all over. its located in a really dark and Not to Safe feeling at Night to walk !
Pros: Great room, great bed, very good breakfast
Cons: A "little" pricey" for the location but I'd still stay there next trip.
The preferred hotel of the Lakeland Convention Center. This is a new select hotel offering great rates, attractively designed accommodations, upscale amenities, 945 sq ft of meeting & banquet space, & a welcoming atmosphere with all the comforts of home. Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, featuring freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal, available daily.
Cons: Cheap mattress, horrible smelling water in need of a softner
the hotel is close to store, restaurant with walking distance staff super nice.all the room very clean,Publix across the street, People at front desk very friendly and helpful. Great location
Pros: that we stay at the second floor,my son just took a shower and we listening to noise from room above,we ask the lady BARBARA if we can be move to last floor and she gave us another room, she so nice to give us another room We rest the night without problem
Cons: the only thing we did not like was that you can hear the people walking and running from the second floor
Cons: There was no bar and the pool was not appealing.
Pros: Nice lobby, helpful staff.
Cons: I am not sure how it is a 3 star hotel. I have stayed at the lesser star hotels in Lakeland and I would rate the rooms the same if not a little better. Rooms need an update!
Pros: Ecco was a very modern updated hotel that was very clean. Looks very nice. The staff were all very nice and helpful. They have a great breakfast in the mornings. The rates were great as well. There are restaurants close by. Apple-bee's right across the street.
Pros: Handy location with a Cracker Barrell across the street. Very clean rooms and facilities.
Cons: They have a lot of non-english speaking, extended stay guests. They were loud and started a fire in one room cooking dinner. The Fire Dept put it out and after an hour we were all back to normal. The extended stay guests were loud but not too bad after 8pm.
Cons: The only minor issue was that the breakfast room was too small.
Pros: I have food sensitivities and often bring my own food. So I was very pleasantly surprised to see that I had a refrigerator to keep my food (I was not aware of this), but I knew there was a microwave. The room was cozy, comfortable, and private.
Pros: Cleaner than most. Excellent hot breakfast. Nice kitchenette. Free wifi. Restaurants within a short walking distance.
Cons: I found the bed to be too firm and uncomfortable. Mobile phone service was impossible in the room and generally spotty in the building.
Pros: Good price.
Cons: They did not have enough cribs as advertised in the listing. I had to check out and find another hotel. The room smelled like smoke.
Pros: cleanliness, great facilities great breakfast and a very friendly staff
Cons: the heat in are room didn't work
Pros: the breakfast set up was pretty good. The pool area was nicely kept.
Cons: the room smelled like Italian food had bee cooked there the night before we came.
Pros: I had a good time in Lakeland during my vacation. I stayed for a week and felt right at home in my room.
Cons: Did not understand why the light switch at the front door controled the lights at the bedside??
Cons: Bed was hard as a rock

For a bit of exercise, you can visit the 24-hour fitness center or go for a swim in the outdoor pool. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchenettes and sofa beds, along with pillowtop beds and LCD TVs.
Pros: I liked the professionalism of the desk staff. She was courteous, and knowledgable in her job. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Cons: I requested a king size bed, but I believe it was a queen. It was also very uncomfortable.

Pros: The receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were pretty modern and up to date. I liked that the double beds were queen sized. The linens were fresh and crisp. The breakfast was pretty good!
Cons: The room smelled like smoke so I had to immediately call the front desk to let them know so they wouldn't think it was me when it was time to check out. I didn't want to jeopardize my $100 deposit. The parking in the back is kind of scary at night, but it is well lit.
Pros: Very good professional front desk staff. Excellent price/value ratio
Cons: Leaky toilet tank
Pros: The hotel is nea conveniently located near the expressway and a ten minute drive to downtown Lakeland. The staff was friendly, the facility clean. A very good value for the money.
Pros: Location and friendly staff. Price.
Cons: Room not cleaned daily. Had to go to front desk for toilet paper and clean towels.
Pros: Room was nice and big with a couch.
Cons: Refrigerator in room was not working. Drink machines did not have any diet drinks.
Pros: Excellent staff! Good breakfast! Comfortable beds! Clean rooms! Great value!
Pros: Great value for this hotel. Nice pool, good breakfast, large rooms, very clean, great staff!
Cons: Beds were a little hard

Enjoy amenities like free hot breakfast, free WiFi, outdoor pool, fitness center and business center. Guest rooms include a flat-screen TV coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program.
Cons: It wasn't that clean, the beds were so uncomfortable, the staff was a little rude. It's good if you're only staying for a night but when you stay for more days, it's horrible. I do not recommend it for people that are clean freaks (like me)
Pros: The room was clean. The room was excellent for the price we paid. We didn't have any bath towels. However, the clerk at the front desk immediately gave us towels. She apologized for the inconvenience. The hotel was very quiet. WIFI had a strong signal. The lady that was serving the breakfast was so helpful. Someone spilled juice and she immediately went into action cleaning the area and helping the family.
Pros: Love the breakfast, the staff was cool and my kids love it.
Pros: Safety of area, well lit, friendly and courteous staff, good breakfast array, clean for the most part rooms (my ONLY complaint was the dusty AC filter which could be easily seen since a few of the grates were broken off), calming environment, speedy check in/check out, hotel rate was fantastic. The proximity of being directly between Orlando and Tampa as well as minute(s) away from I-4 was a huge perk. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Cons: The hotel needs some maintenance updates. It's clearly showing it's age. My eye viewer had tissue shoved in it. There was some caulking needed and a few holes in walls where things used to be that weren't patched and my mirror was somewhat black in spots.
Pros: Friendly staff clean
Pros: Location and proximity to a Cracker Barrel restaurant (right next door). Hotel has a large parking lit in front and shares a parking lot with the Cracker Barrel in the rear where we were able to park our pickup truck with a 34' fifth wheel camper attached.
Cons: The property just gave us an impression of being "cheap" and overpriced. The beds were not AT ALL comfortable with lumpy mattresses and only on very thin blanket. The bathroom was TINY with only a combination tube / shower and toilet in the room and the single sink vanity in the entryway next to the room door. The room furnishings, TV, carpet and exterior (vinyl siding) all contributed to the feeling of "cheap". The walls seem to be made of paper, as there was very little noise attenuation from the rooms on either side of ours or from the hallway. The "free" breakfast was also disappointing.
Spend a few dollars more and stay in a Hampton Inn or similar hotel.

Cons: The breakfast was disgusting and I did not think it was professional for the employee to have a tip jar at the breakfast buffet.

Pros: I ordered a king bed room which wasn't showing up on their system so we had to settle for a 2 dbl bed. After waiting half hour to get it.
Pros: Hotel was very quiet. Besides one bad night, guests all kept to themselves. Housekeeping abided privacy sign but offered new amenities when needed.
Cons: Wasn't informed of the $100 deposit required at check in. Hotel has been crediting and depositing out of my account all week.
Cons: That we couldn't change the date or get a refund. It was our first time using kayak and my husband booked for the wrong day! Didnt get to stay what a waste of money. We won't use it again!
Pros: Clean room, clean bathroom, no moldy smell, excelent service, pool party.
Cons: Dated Barhroom and Fee for breakfast.
Pros: Size of room was good.
Cons: By stairwell was really noisy. Thought they had free breakfast, but they didn't. Went down to grab at least a muffin at 9:23am and the doors were already locked.
Pros: Proximity of the entrance from the parking lot to the elevator to my room.
Cons: It was not easy to enter or exit the highway in both directions
Pros: Clean and reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Older building, noisy location, limited parking. Quite busy for a Saturday night, perhaps a bit of a party location. Not quite up to par for a business/family travel motel.
Pros: Doors in most rooms don't auto close. Faucet leaking, faceplates broken, no sink stoppers, no bed duvet/comforter covers, mattresses ancient, paint over sprayed mold issues in bathroom.
Obvious owners couldn't give a toss about investing in product.
Staff embarrassed but doing a great job. Room was clean but dear heavens you can tell - as night auditor stated owners "are letting the hotel run dry and take the money". The auditor was quitting as he couldn't bear the complaints on maintenance.
Ramada needs to disown franchisee and keep staff who deserve a product to match their service.
Pros: The location near the interstate was good for quick access to I-4, since I was traveling to Tampa mornings.
Cons: It seems everything in the room squeaked: the bed crunched/groaned/squeaked every time I turned over, and the chair squeaked and groaned when i sat in it.
Pros: For the price, I was very - and pleasantly - surprised how nice the room was. It was clean, and attractively furnished.
Pros: My fiancée and I were relocating to Lakeland and needed a place to stay while awaiting the completion of our new place. We found ourselves at the Ramada for a little over a week. Aside from the great rates, the room, staff, and management were beyond exceptional. Great location as we both still work in the neighboring metro Orlando and Tampa areas. We would recommend this facility and will guarantee our business in the future.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast, not a big deal as we wouldn't utilize anyway
Pros: Great location if you are going to see the Tigers at Joker Stadium and is only a few minute drive away. The facility is quite dated but has a nice sports bar that is convenient. Breakfast was weak with cereal and one waffle maker to use. Think it is over priced but is expected in Florida during this time period.

Cons: Sheets were filthy, I had to change them. Floor was filthy walked from shower to the bed and had black feet. Internet 4.99 day, per device.
Pros: This location was not bad. The AC was cool, and the shower hot.
Cons: When arriving, I noticed there was trash behind the bathroom door, on the floor. I purposely left it there, but it was not picked up. So on the second evening there, I threw it away. They also took towels, but never replenished what they took, leaving less and no bathmat. They also did not have a spare roll of TP there, and I had to go to the front desk for that, too.
Pros: Price was good.
Cons: Beds were hard.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Noisy, dirty, seemed to have a lot of long-term renters. Took 20 minutes to check in, despite having registered on-line. Paid for Wi-Fi, did not work.
Pros: Location was great, one of the reasons I picked this place.
Cons: There are a number of other motels close by, and for $10-15 more, you would be much happier staying there. This should be a $35 a night place, only taken when there are no other available motels. The room I had was austere. 18 inch tube TV, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, threadbare towels and washcloths, flat pillows, dirty carpet, and a door that looked like it had somehow survived an assault by local swat team.
