Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful Buffet breakfast was expensive
Excellent staff very keen to help and go the extra mile where necessary
Easy access; friendly and helpful Staff; very good breakfast
Everything!Amazing hotel!Absolutely perfect in every way! Absolutely nothing!
Beautiful room, charming little town center, superb attitude and helpfulness of the owners. Always there when needed or just to be enjoyed, never obtrusive. Truly likable, well-informed, well-educated, enjoyable people. We extended our stay with them. Absolutely nothing!
The Friendly atmosphere and staff. The location was excellent for our needs. Not having a bar or tea making facilities in the room
Comfortable, well located friendly Hotel. Home made bakeries. Nice walled garden. Quiet location. Friendly.
An excellent hotel - more like a home-from-home. The house and general decor of the rooms are fabulous, and the english-speaking owner makes you feel very welcome. If there is a negative about this hotel, it's the small niggle that parking is in the street.
The hotel is very quiet in 18th century style, very comfortabe with big rooms-we had a suite which was more a complete appartment - clean. The lady (and her parents) who runs this hotel talks fluently English, is very helpfull and friendly. It was a joy to stay at this place. The hotel has no restaurant (but is working to start one) and in town on Sunday and Monday evening virtually al restaurants are closed (which is not something this hotel can be blamed).
Incredible nice room, with a big terrace and nice view over the garden. The old style decoration is magnificent. Good breakfast with homemade cakes, crepes, mermelades... The family is warm and helpful with your plans to visit. The best experience of our trip
This is an outstanding hotel - friendly, welcoming and personal. Excellent advice and help about places to visit. Superb, carefully designed decore. Excellent room facilities, including best bed ever. Has less the feel of an hotel and more that of a great chambre d'hote. Well located within Guingamp.
Hotel location is very good for trip by car to Pink Granit Coast and island Brehat! Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Very nice view to harbour. Not only nice view to harbour but at the same time road with hard traffic from early morning to evening under windows. And as result - noise. Very hard smell roasted food from restourant & citchen just under our windows from 6pm to 11pm. No air condition so if we closed windows we had stuffy in our room. It was uncomfortably for us and we gave "comfort" mark "bad" :(
Friendly, comfortable, typical French accomodation with a great view. Excellent restaurant. None
excellent location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant. old fashion
It was located right on the quayside easy reach to everything in the town. Nice breakfast area. Furnishings a little tired. Breakfast strictly continental.
The Director and the staff of this nice hotel have been always available in supporting any answere of mines all along my staying duration, being focused in giving me a general high quality service. They had a behaviour professional and friendly at the same time. Thanks this, I've also experienced a not planned further third night in a beautiful sea view room. It's not vital but should be even better if the wi-fi free connection would join all the rooms of the hotel.
On arrival, we were given our personal escort to our room by the proprietor, who also described - in very good English - some of the building's history. The room (Mutine) was, however, less than adequate, in that it was under the eaves, thus limiting the space available - and it had no chairs in it. It was also rather dark - partly, we presume, from its "view" of the (narrow) "street"!
Location No access to food at certain times
The hotel is just in front of the railway station, very close to city center, very quite, very comfortable and clean
Easy to find and had everything we needed.
The size of the room and things like mico-wave, hot-plate, fridge and coffee maker was there No
Lovely top floor room, almost like an apartment. Bad leak from shower
Staff friendly and good location. Room especially Shower, rather small.
We enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent and the staff helpful. No Wi Fi . The partial ssea view was non exsistant maybe the trees need triming!!
The staff were most welcoming and helpful and one could speak very good English No
Fantastic location, Binic is a lovely town and the Hotel was superb. No parking, but free parking was available quite near. Might be a problem if hotel is full.
Great view, very clean hotel, helpful staff, good location
Staff. hey were very kind end professional Small bedrooms. Lack of information about the meals in the hotel. Any time we asked for lunch or dinner there had never a table for us. Even when given time. We ended up thinking that we were not welcome in their restaurant. No procedure to follow to get a table anywhere. Sad and disappointing. My son and I are respectable and well behaved!
good view of the sea, nice dining room, good breakfast the room looked dated and in need of refurbishment, parking limited
Everything was very good about this hotel.
Excellent location with views of the Port from many of the rooms, facilities such as restaurants and bars adjacent. Lack of tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms would have been appreciated , the wash hand basin in the bathroom was very small which made shaving and face washing all but impossible.
The hotel was very central, comfortable and good value for money The parking was difficult, but the staff did everything they could to help
a good tidy hotel, the room was clean, excellent breakfast. would like the bedding to be changed daily and more towels. coffee or tea facilities in the room would have been nice.
The staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. The view of course was wonderful and the shower very good very little space in the room and no facility to hang up a dress, only suits.
Convenient for town centre, restaurants. Breakfast good. Room rather small. Shower door did not close properly.
Very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpfull. I dont speak any French. The staff in this hotel went out of their way to help with whatever I requested. And for this reason I would use this hotel again. The purpose for our visit was to visit a friend and it was central to our requirements. I hav'nt ticked many boxes, but thats not to say it was'nt suitable for us. The room was a bit on the small side although acceptable. Could have done with a bit more space to hang clothes and draws for underwear. My wife does tend to bring more lugage than she needs. I on the other hand bring as little as possible. But even if she brought as much as me. We would struggle to fit it into the storage area. Which is a shame because this the only (minor) negative.
Friendliness of staff was the first thing that was apparent nothing was too much of a bother. Review do not do the hotel justice ! -
Location. Perfectly placed to explore the harbour and town of Paipol. Parrking available for our motorbikes.
An excellent hotel in the heart of a small village. Peaceful, quiet, beatifully decorated, modern, charming. Safe parking immediately in front of the hotel. Lovely breakfast.
We were surprised by this hotel - the website and pictures do not do it justice. Our room was very comfortable with more attention to detail than we had thought. The breakfast, which was continental, was good with plenty of choice, including the selection of tea/coffee. There was a seaview although it was a little distant but we were glad that we had booked the room that we did for the size and view that we had.
Our family room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The room was very clean. The terrace outside our room was ideal to relax on with the children. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and fresh food.
The hotel was very clean and well decorated. the staff were friendly and welcoming. the breakfast was exellent. the parking convieniently close
This is a small and quite cheap hotel, so there is no luxury but it is clean and the room is ok to stay for a couple of nights. Friendly staff and a nice garden where you could sit and have a drink etc. Breakfast was good with different sorts of fresh bread. Parking was easily available just outside the hotel. No, it was good for its price level.
Fine room with wonderful views over Paimpol bay Hot water from the taps smelled foul
The peoprietor and his wife were friendly, helpful, and smiled at our (awful) French. The establishment was spotless. The beds were low to the floor which made getting out of bed difficult.
We were on the bottom floor and it was noisy with people coming in and also people walking in the room above
Location, friendly helpful owners, lovely room.
Family run, relaxing friendly atmosphere. Refreshing swimming pool. Ideal base for visiting regional tourist destinations.
The building is wonderful and staying here is an experience not to be missed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The fact that the owner speaks fluent English will be of benefit to those visitors from the uk who have limited French. They are gradually renovating the hotel and only renovated rooms appear to be let so the standard of the rooms was good. They do not offer evening meals at this time and this would be a useful addition to the services in the future once more rooms are being let however the local creperie was very nice and very reasonable. The creperie can be busy so if you are arriving late and want dinner locally it would be best to ask the hotel to book you a table.
The Manor and it's grounds, it was very quiet, and the hospitality of the owner no
We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the historic old Manor building is interesting. We were made welcome on arrival and the breakfast (and the staff at breakfast) were first class. The room was adequate but nothing special. The pool looking inviting but the weather was not good enough for us to make use of this facility. Being left alone in the Manor as the only guests was an interesting experience! It was very remote - a long way from the nearest village.
The XVc manoir had been obliterated in the bedrooms. No character left. Urgently requires redecoration and a good clean. Showers around pool un-useable - didn't want to disturb wildlife, Over-priced for standard of room. No tea making facilities in room.
We stayed in a triple room which had a single connecting room and two singles in the main, perfect for our toddler and they put in a travel cot for the baby too. Our room was light and airy, was nicely decorated and had a flat screen tv. The garden was a bonus with a small outdoor decked area and seating (plus ping pong table). It was a beautiful location near Paimpol and Ile de Brehat. The hotel runs a good creperie in the evening which serves salads too. The set menu is good value at only 9.8 euros. The owner is friendly and extremely hard-working.I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was limited to one Croissant, plain yoghurt and a chunk of baguette which was fine for me but there was no fresh fruit or cereal, which is harder when you have very young children. There were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the bedroom but we ordered these from the bar downstairs.
Clean, comfortable, value for money hotel with lovely views. It was also a delight to be able to control the heating in your room. None
Position, garden, friendly helpful staff
Excellent service, very friendly management. Good wi-fi, nice garden with sea view. Extra bed provided as requested. No.
Very relaxing and very good restaurant facilities.
Very friendly owners, relaxed and helpful. Breakfast was great for the price with homemade jams and more than enough to kick-start the days. Rooms were small but comfortable and clean. The 'sea view' is perhaps a little bit of a stretch of the imagination as you need to strain your neck out the window to see it, but overall it doesn't detract from the sense of a nice small friendly hotel that offers good value for money.
Friendly reception, cosy room and lovely view of sea. The food was also of a good quality One of the bedrooms does not have en-suite bathroom and I had not appreciated this before arriving. This should be made clearer.
Very friendly small hotel, conveniently located for touring the area. Excellent evening meals, and breakfast for 6 euros very adequate
being like at home: most friendly welcome, excellent location, lovely hotel with garden, delicious homemade food. Will probably stay again. only problem: light in bathroom, difficult to find and reach especially for my ageing mother when there is no moonlight! A second light with switch by the door would be helpful.
Superb location, excellent food, but main menu must be booked 24hours in advance. Hospitality top class; expert cook, her gallettes with scallops "to die for". We booked by accident ? their only room not en suite. They should de- list this room and just use it for late arrivals/emergencies !
