Loved the hotel. Very relaxing. Lovely spacious warm clean rooms.
I felt very humble and also privileged to stay in such an iconic hotel in Scotland. As a former county golfer I am surrounded by golf memorabilia which is manna from heaven. I can't speak more highly than this place. Service and staff are out of this world. Bedroom warm and very comfortable.
Nothing no faults.
The comfort of the hotel; the food was excellent; the attentiveness and service of all staff; the musical entertainment at night - the pianist was wonderful; the location of the hotel - Gullane is such a lovely wee place and is so near another, North Berwick. All made the stay so enjoyable, in spite of the challenging weather.
Only reservation was one chair provided in what was a double room. Also, the lighting could have been improved. However we did not complain as these, to us, were minor inconveniences.
Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable
Staff were superb, place was very clean . The only niggle is that the bedroom was a little tired. I dont know if there are plans for a refurb but if so, then i would have no hesitation in returning.
Very welcoming, gracious, old style luxury hotel i
Loved the gardens! the rooms were wonderful, large, comfortable. Wifi was spotty, but we weren't there on business. Strategically located for nearby golf courses and visiting castles, Greywalls is a fabulous spot for anyone visiting the Scottish coast. 20 minutes from St.Andrews, not far from Edinburgh, it is a hotel we would return to in an instant and try to stay longer. The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and to help us celebrate a 60th birthday in our family. We had a tour of the gardens from the head gardener himself who couldn't have been nicer. This was the highlight of our trip. Highest recommendations!
