Warm welcome, wonderful food, fabulous bedroom and bathroom with garden views. Interior of the house is beautifully decorated. We hope to go back again.
Everything -absolutely perfect -very welcoming, friendly, perfect house in a perfect location
Great friendly welcome, beautifully furnished house, felt like staying as a welcome guest in a home rather than a B&B or hotel. Fantastic bathrooms and great breakfast! Just that we weren't there long enough to really enjoy it!
it is clean and very comfortable, Very helpful owner and staff, Could not think of any negative thing to report, I was able to stay an extra day, which was very helpful
Attention to detail None
Perfect hosts, relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing break.
The peace and tranquility of the place, the hugely comfortable bed, the house, the feel of it and its decor, the gardens, the welcome; I genuinely wanted to to stay longer. This is a wonderful find. no
first class food; wonderful helpful polite staff, wonderful setting around hotel
Excellent location, staff very friendly & helpful, lovely cooked full Scottish breakfast !! nothing
everything at the hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpfull, couldn't do enough for us. The setting of the hotel is beautiful and it has been sunny everytime we have visited!! The food and service is faultless. There was a couple who enjoyed it so much they were trying to book for another two nights, which says a lot. No
It's relaxed manner, yet there was an air of sophistication to it also. The lack of a cooked breakfast would make me think twice about staying at this hotel again.
Friendly, helpful staff Small rooms and showers
The quietness of the lounge with no t.v or music, meant you could chat and relax in comfort.
The staff was helpful in doing for us an on-line check-in for a flight. We appreciated the "old house" style. I would have appreciated more accessible internet facilities.
It felt like a home from home.Staff were lovely nothing was a bother to them, owners came and asked us if everything was ok,pointing out places we may want to visit etc, such a lovely couple. Rooms spotlessly clean and very nice decor.Breaksfast staff constantly bringing out fresh food which was fantastic quality, great place to relax away from city but not too far if you want to venture in. Free parking was fab and fantastic location, we didnt want to leave and I would definitely return. No, can honestly say one of the best hotels I have stayed at.
Most of the staff were friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy and the food was very good. No internet access from the room or any Freeview TV.
Rooms were adequately clean. The staff treated us as a necessary but unfortunate part of their jobs. The check in desk unappologetically mixed up our rooms and the barman was more concerned with doing his paperwork than serving his customers.
Staff were excellent, food was excellent what a great place I will be back
I was really amazing place, calm and relax! No bus stop near hotel
The peaceful surroundings and the atmosphere of almost being at home.
Loved the gardens! the rooms were wonderful, large, comfortable. Wifi was spotty, but we weren't there on business. Strategically located for nearby golf courses and visiting castles, Greywalls is a fabulous spot for anyone visiting the Scottish coast. 20 minutes from St.Andrews, not far from Edinburgh, it is a hotel we would return to in an instant and try to stay longer. The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and to help us celebrate a 60th birthday in our family. We had a tour of the gardens from the head gardener himself who couldn't have been nicer. This was the highlight of our trip. Highest recommendations!
charming place, service and staff was excellent
Food is exceptional. None
the kindness of the stuff, the quiet and and close to the city of Edinburgh area. The cleanliness of the room was pretty poor. It seemed that it has been vacuumed a long time ago and dust was everywhere. The cups, cofee pot and boiler were not clean (remainings from tea inside). I did not mentioned that to the personnel because I did not want to to argue with nobody looking or mooving to another room. For all the othee reasons I mentioned above, I would recomented the hotel to others.
The staff were very helpful the bar area would rather there was a seperate lounge bar
Nothing really. Staff never here to help you, location, price incredibly high for such a poor comfort. Definitely one of the worst hotel my girlfriend and I have never been too. And we're not this kind that complains all the time.
value for money and the staff were 1st class
Clean rooms, good breakfast Beds are only covered with a sheet and thin coversheet, wich is quite cold in a winter/autumn.
The good & nice friendly staff Need of a resedent lounge
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast on sunday was excellent with good localy sourced produce
Perfect hotel for overnight stay, room basic but clean, windows not double glazed, so noise from main street of which there was a lot later on. Restaurant good, easy to find. once inside there was nothing particularly homely and it did feel slightly old . Our room was very cold with all old furniture but nothing to make it feel more comfortable.
Good food, friendly staff, comfortable room. Limited parking.
The staff were very friendly and the food in the restuarant was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast. We noticed some of the room numbers were missing from the doors and had been filled in with a pen!! Not a good first impression. Our room was slightly dated with furniture from the 1980's and the shower also dated from that time. Not alot of money needed to be spent on updating this room to the 21st centuary.
Clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Helpful. Good, fair priced food. Easy to travel into Edinburgh on park and ride. Good location.
Great location-staff lovely and helpful.clean,comfortable.Good place to eat next door.Brewers Fare but food was very good. Think breakfast could be included when its £63. per night.Different when its only £29,per night!Which I have never got yet!!!!!!!!!!We do a lot of travelling and having the breakfast included in the price, would be a big plus.
Nothing Very expensive for a very cheap hotel and there was nothing we liked about it. We checked out after one night.
The whole hotel including rooms were spotless. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definately recommend and use again
All staff very friendly and helpful, from cleaners to reception. Room clean, bright and with plenty of space, same with the en-suite, and best of all a good nights sleep Not really a dislike but breakfast/dinner was in the Pub next door - you would get wet if its raining.
Rooms very clean, ample parking, disabled bathroom well equipped, quiet. Breakfast christmas day and boxing day only available on room service at 10am had we known this we would have cancelled breakfast for these two mornings. The ramps outside the hotel and access to Brewers Fayre had not been cleared of snow
The location to the A1 road and ease of finding it you and because I have stayed with Premier Inn before you know what you are going to get when you get there Breakfast
It was a convenient stopping point halfway through a long journey and was clean, comfortable with a convenient restaurant next door and reasonably priced.
liked where the hotel was.Food was good value for money. Has character that other premier inns lack due to the building in which beefeater is situated, bit pricey compared to your Lenny Henry advertisement of from £29!!!!
The room was comfortable and day staff helpful however the food at the adjacent Brewers was awful. The food
