Friendly staff, clean, relaxing The only bad part for us was that it is in the middle of nowhere everything is far it took us on hr to get to Silverwood
the beds were comfy. and the robes were nice. the chinook restaurant was the best eat in place there, and you get a lot of food for what you pay. the staff was friendly. the room was not what we thought we were getting. there was no jetted tub. the lighting in the bathroom wasn't very good. it was a lot smaller than the pics made it appear. the fridge was so small we couldn't even fit left overs in it. the wall next to the bed had hand prints and... well, I am afraid to say what I think it was that had dried while dripping down it. it was a long walk to the swimming pool/hot tub and they closed at 11. if you plan on eating at night you should order your meals early because all the restaurants close at nine, otherwise its just bar apps or the food court. there is not a lot to do there besides gamble. and its a 30 min. drive to the closest grocery store in Coeur D 'Alene.
I loved being able to get up in the morning and working out in the rec room. Then we went for a swim. Very nice! Personnel were helpful and nice. We had problems getting the door key to work.
The the bed was comfy. The air conditioner was loud and making a lot weird noises. I've stayed in two Shilo inns this year and they both were in need of a face lift. We walked by the pool and it looked a bit murky.
someone at some time kicked in the door so it didn't close snug which was not comforting. shower was loud, low water pressure and very slow drain. the outside door was unlocked during the day and into evening so anyone can walk in. hallways and elevator not kept clean.
Price was good. I actually like how the breakfast wasn't all fancy- it was good and comprehensive, though, it didn't have a bunch of fancy tables and stuff.
Bed was way to soft and No elevator
Very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again
Very friendly front desk staff, large rooms, great price for Cd'A in mid-summer. Pool didn't look clean.
Location. Room was quiet. Pool seemed nice-didn't get to use it. Took 5-8 times for key to work in any door. TV was old and not compatible with current technology. Only about 12 channels and most were news or sports. Shower didn't work. Still not sure how I was charged since booked on line and only stayed one of two nights due. Was looking to relax and catch up on some TV and movies-mission was NOT accomplished!
The location is good. The hotel is dated and dirty.
nice staff, thick towels and clean rooms. Doors didn't fit snug in frame, floor above squeaked every time children above ran, jumped or walked, Could easily hear others in hall, Shower made terrible noise when turned on. Ice machine on second not working . We won't stay there again. Could see light and that TV was on in a room we passed to get to our room, at least 1/2 inch of space around door on 3 sides. Really makes one feel secure in locked room!
Clean, friendly front desk staff, good price for comparable hotels in the area. Breakfast could have been better. Although I didn't really need housekeeping, I didn't appreciate the note that stated that my "do not disturb" sign was "still" on at ___ o'clock (not filled in). It was on the door for only an hour the whole morning, while I took a shower and got ready after a run.
Bed was comfy and I liked the coffee maker There was no top lock so once my toddler found out she could open the door it was over. We spent the rest off the two days chasing her down
The breakfast was great, plenty of choices and was able to fuel up my family without paying an extra bill at a restaurant. Much more than just the average muffins and coffee! The entrance was a little confusing, had to drive a block through a strip mall parking lot to get to the hotel.
Room was clean but the beds are hard as a rock. Breakfast was nice. Overall ambiance of the hotel was very nice. Pool was murky...not really sure why because it is an indoor pool. Bathroom set up in room is ridiculous. Lights and sink for bathroom are outside of it. Inconvenient to say the least.
It was all very nice It was very expensive
Excellent staff and very clean!
Convent location, near interstate and also an easy drive to downtown Coeur d'Alene. While the bed was comfortable the pillows were way to soft. Need to include ones that are firmer. Breakfast items were just OK.
Staff was excellent !!
The location, the quietness which was very nice, and the free wi-fi. The pool was cold. For the amount of money we (and all others ) paid, the pool should be heated to a higher temperature! We tried to stay in it and get acclimated, but alas, just too cold. Also, for the breakfast room to only have ONE waffle maker for all the guests to use in the morning is ridiculous. The line was 8 people long...ugh. This size of hotel should have at least two waffle makers and a larger syrup container.
The price, cleanliness, personal, friendly.
It was clean, was not dumpy, the staff was friendly, and single night visitors got breakfast
Nice facility with friendly staff and breakfast. Pleasant 20 minute walk to the lake. We would definitely come back.
Very Clean. We were there to explore, we weren't there for a fancy hotel. This did it! It was VERY clean. People were friendly, lots of space. Again Clean, for allowing pets I was shocked. Bed was comfy, pillows were soft. Nice appearence inside and out, close to everything. I would HIGHLY suggest staying it, especially at this price. Honestly I didn't smell smoke and they wouldn't allow it. My fiance and I came, but will return with your kids. :)
Awesome budget friendly place to crash. Super friendly staff. Clean and comfortable.
This is a great value hotel! It is for the most part simple, but our room was comfortable and clean. The TV was really nice. Nothing fancy but a great value for what you pay when you are looking for a place to get a good night's sleep. The heating/cooling system worked fine, but it did have a bit of a smell when we turned it on.
Well, to be perfectly honest, the reviews I read after I made the reservation and before I arrived were scary. I really didn't know what to expect, but went anyway. What I found surprised me. Understand, it IS a budget motel, so you see the plumbing under the sinks and there are no phones in the rooms, but who doesn't have a cell phone anymore. The staff, Megan was wonderful, the room had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom area had a hairdryer and the room was cleaned and made up everyday. The experience I had was nothing like the other reviewers. I'll stay there again. There was no pool so it wouldn't be good for families that are intending to stay put on the property. However, that having been said, it's Coeur D'Alene, why would you stay on the property. There was a slight problem with parking but nothing that wasn't manageable. All in All, I'll stay there agin.
Loved the entire decor and feel of the hotel…view wasn't all that great for the price and the rooms were quite small. I really loved the Paul Mitchell trio, cute night light, and the water pressure for the bathroom. The pool and hot tub were really big and nice. Overall I would come here again Small rooms
It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Was a bit loud. Walls are thin. Could hear conversations in the room next to us, doors slam.
We felt pampered our whole stay. They were so accommodating and friendly. Truly high class.
Loved the location, cleanliness, beds are the best, great staff!
Room was luxurious and comfortable. Parking is limited.
Great location--secluded, but still close to Couer d'Alene attractions. Very comfortable, interesting decor, hosts made you feel like family and they had lot of good advice regarding restaurants and local attractions. Breakfast was delicious and filling. My wife and I highly recommend this B & B.
The king room was very comfortable and quiet with room to move around freely. I'd requested extra towels and there were plenty. Breakfast was adequate, even though there was a swim team staying there at the same time. Just being changed over, so no proper signage--could see the old name and not the much smaller banner signage that did not cover the old name. Also was hard to find the way INN, since it was simply a drive way or alley past the IHOP in front. Could not access wifi even with the manager giving us a verbal run through.
All staff were helpful and accommodating. No extra fees for this & that. Soundproofing between rooms was a little weak. No donuts or pastries at breakfast, but lots of other choices.
The staff was helpful, room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Overall an enjoyable experience. Would book again.
Very nice, clean, comfortable, we have 2 dogs and we were made to feel very welcome.
The people were friendly and inviting and joked around while getting us checked in and out. Complimentary breakfast and extra toiletries were nice as well. The bed was not cleaned from the last person staying. There was food in the blanket still. The bathroom seemed dirty still like washed with water and nothing more. But the bath tub was gross. Whoever cleaned turned the water on sprayed it and then called it good. The couch as well in the room had some kind of hair that was never cleaned all over it.
I enjoyed a wonderful overnight lodging at Days Inn!
The location was good. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The fridge hadn't been checked since the previous guest and someone else's salad was still in there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy. There were so many chemicals in it that it made us cough just to be in the room and a window had to be left open because of the fumes. When we turned the Jets on, it foamed like a bubble bath. Gross!
Central location. No micro range in room. Breakfast marginal.
The staff was very friendly, the decorations were charming, the location was awesome. There is also a kitchen in the common area with a microwave. The fruit & pastry platter left for guests each morning was wonderful! The hotel has a restaurant down below and they play music every night. It's great if you want to go down and listen, but you can hear it a little bit in your room until 10 pm. It's not bad, but a little distracting.
Very quaint and close to activity. We did not encounter staff except to get keys to room. Breakfast was to be included but we did not receive one probably since we booked and immediately showed up about 4 pm.
Great location, beautiful old building cleverly configured for duty as a B and B. Downtown water front is an easy walk and there are many restaurants and bars/pubs along the way.Be sure to check out the 3:15 Tapas. Yum. We were on the third floor and it was warm, and the window a/c unit had not been installed. Friendly staffer came up with a fan, and it was all good.
Lovely and personable hotel with modern conveniences while maintaining character and charm from another era. The restaurant is delicious with meals created from scratch and live music in the evenings. Fantastic dinner & *free* sit-down homemade breakfast!
Terrific restaurant with live entertainment the night we were there. Bed and breakfast without the breakfast? Despite having a very nice restaurant, the breakfast consisted of a few items set aside for our room in a refrigerator located in a common area.
Our room # 4 was perfect and just what we were looking for. The food was delicious.
It is advertised that parking is included but actually is on the street first come, first gets it.
Location, great restaurant, helpful and friendly bar/restaurant staff, character building, nice atmosphere.Quiet. Safe on-street parking. Breakfast! Selection was good but quality was poor. Pastries were stale and, if not eaten, were provided for the next day. Muesli was not always replenished and we had to ask for milk every day.Caliber of the breakfast was not consistent with the price
Location, breakfast, and internet were all pretty good. The B&B atmosphere is certainly different from generic hotels. The feel is a little ackward for someone not used to the smaller personal atmosphere.
This was a very nice Bed and Breakfast. Great room with a claw foot tub in the bathroom. Two common lounges with kitchens, cookies and treats for guests. Restaurant and full bar attached. Free homemade and delicious breakfast. Great walking location.
Location and great restaurant. Rooms very small. Staff not friendly. Hardly saw anyone. Furnishings old. Bathroom tiny. Sink in room.
the whole stay was truly amazing!! Nancy was so helpful and made every effort to please. AWESOME Breakfast's were amazing!! no
While it had a very intimate feel, Nancy was still sure to give us plenty of privacy. The common spaces in her B&B were great and inviting. The food was great!
I was skeptical because of reviews from previous guests but it turned out to be great! The cost was low and definitely worth it! Clean and great staff
Simple, clean, great location Everything was great
The bed was comfortable and TV was newer. Big refrigerator. Clean. The water pressure was weak. Not all the channels had good reception. The fixtures were all pretty dated.
This was our second time staying at the Super8 and I will always come back when visiting. It's always clean, staff is always friendly, and it's quiet.
Easy to find Hard bed, small bathroom, small continental breakfast seating.
Booked through Kayak. Get to hotel and there was no reservation and no rooms. Still no refund
The bed was comfortable. Out dated and not enough towels.
Most of the staff was pleasant. Our experience started off bad and just kept going down hill. First they charged us twice for all three of our rooms and that left us with no money in our accoubt the entire weekend we were there. Then our daughters room had not been vacuumed and there were toenails and sunflower seeds all over the floor. Then the breakfast food was cold (should have been hot) a few more things came up as well. They promised us a discount but instead recharged us. We are now waiting for a refund and it has been a week.
Breakfast not the best
I like how close this hotel is to the freeway, downtown and to Spokane area. We stay here when we are visiting the area and are considering moving here for the college in town. We are from Seattle area and ready for a more laid back environment. Cost of this hotel is about average and the location makes it worth coming back to I don't care for their coffee. We head down the street to Dutch Bros for our coffee
Convenient location for our needs and stay. The nonstop noise from the room above us until 130am then starting again at 515am. Then after talking to the front desk and having to relocate to a room in the top floor to avoid dealing with the same issue we were given a 10 dollar Starbucks card, whoopee, big deal, can't stand coffee & if I did I'd never goto Starbucks. Not worth the hassle. We could have gotten the same or better for $160 down the street instead of the almost $450 that we spent. Never again
