The sparkling Royal Palm swimming pool is surrounded by private cabanas and has a 125-foot water slide. There are 643 guest rooms and suites full of luxury amenities. The rooms are decorated in a very chic Spanish revival style with mahogany woods, gold-leaf, and elegant neutrals. Located just 8 miles from the Miami International Airport, the Trump National Doral Miami hotel puts guests in the midst of all the fun the city has to offer. 5.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was well-trained, resposive, and vocally sorry about the situation that all the guests were facing, and even apologized for the weather. The staff went out of their way to try to make up for everything that was wrong.
Cons: Simply put: the resort should not be open until they have finished the renovations. It's like staying in a Motel 6 at a 24hr construction site, but with superb staff and quite good food. There is limited accessibility by foot to any part of the resort. Walking anywhere requires traversing expansive muddy gravel areas, balancing on tippy plywood ramps where no curbs exist, stepping over hoses, electrical cords, and around huge generators, and going as quuickly as possible by what can only be an open sewer pipe near the new pool construction. There is one, possily two, restaurants open that have the same menu as room service. A salad, entree, and glass of wine came to $70. Other non-resort restaurants are accessiblie only by cab (I might have been able to walk if not for the puring rain). If you choose not to gamnble on walking, you must call ahead for a golf-cart transport, which will arrive in 10-15 mins and take you to your destination. A tip is expected by the driver. During my stay, it rained constantly so I never was able to see a vista, the golf course, or anything resembling the images on the resort's website. The pathways that were usable were puddled with water and one had a recurring area of sudsy liquid on it...? Again, they should not be open, but if they choose to be, they should NOT be charging full price for guest rooms. I was staying in a supposedly-renovated bungalow, but the elevator clearly was in recent use by constructoin workers, there were several muddy boot prints in my bathtub upon arrival., the sliding door to the patio did not fully lock, and the sliding closet doors were not functional because of the position of the room safe in the closet. 'Nuff said.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful.
Cons: Too short of a visit!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: No request went without a quick and thorough response. It isn't cheap, but the service and facilities can't be beat anywhere else in Florida.
Cons: A bit too pricey for our regular travels, but great for a once in a while treat.

6.2 Good

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room, very nice facilities (indoors and outdoors), renovation of reception area a major improvement.
6.2 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Under construction; noisy
6.8 Good
Pros: It's a nice hotel, nice location, clean, nice staff, nice beachfront
Cons: We stayed there for a week and we didn't like: - Noisy, music everywhere, very loud, not smooth nor relaxing - noisy guests that staff did not stop, in my case, people came to the lounge with their own speakers - noisy rooms, better get out early, before 9 am or housekeepers will let you know you are lazy - fees for everything, it's ok to pay for additionals, but resort fee is not worth it (and it's a hidden cost), valet excessive, fees for receiving packages is expensive. I would recommend to bundle better tariffs and consider flat fees or caped fees for those who stay several days. After the second day, we ended trying to avoid every reason to stay in the hotel during the day. In particular, we avoided the pool, only one time tried to spend the morning there but could not resist the music of the hotel and the personal music of some guests.

With so many different activities to take part of, as well as ways to relax, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The pools are exclusive to resort guests and feature a waterslide and a FlowRider® Double. To explore South Florida’s sea life, snorkeling is available. Then to unwind with a massage or stay fit, the Spa and Fitness Center is a great place to head to. There are many eateries to enjoy when staying here. The LandShark Bar & Grill is a traditional beach bar, while the JWB Prime Steak and Seafood is upscale and offers seasonal delights like Florida stone crab. Those looking for a fun time must check out the Lone Palm Beach Bar, which has a tiki theme or the License to Chill bar, which has a pool and lounge.

Pros: Service was spectacular, room beautiful, clean, CJ at the pool bar was phenomenal, made us feel like we were at a true VIP resort, very knowledgeable, helpful attentive. The bellman was awesome that brought luggage to our room, front desk fabulous. People greeting off the boardwalk super friendly. All around amazing. Room service great, I worked in hotels for many years, so I usually can see the operational problems, but this Hotel was amazing, thanks for giving us the 5 star treatment, we will be back with our whole family, highly recommend!!

Pros: 5* lobby (impressive and inviting) 5* staff and service 4.5* rooms (comfortable and attractive) 4.5* pools (1 with slides for kids, 1 for family, 1 adults only) 4* public beach (bice wide clean beach with 2 free chairs) 4.5* bars (good drinks and service but a little pricey) 3.5* restaurants (good American fare but lacks variety) 3.5* Coffee shop with weak lattes and average pastries 5* towel service and activities desk with free bicycle rentals! 5* parking facilities but expensive at 30$ per day 5* security 3.5* location but to be expected since Hollywood Beach 4* Gym with everything except spinning cycles Spa looked nice but didn't go
Cons: Beach chairs should match the occupancy not just 2 per room Espresso beans at the coffee shop not Espresso quality and strength Coffee shop often out of fruits or yogurt or both in the morning Hendricks Martinis way too expensive at 20$ Parking too expensive at 30$ Restaurants lacked variety although didn't go to JWB high end steak house The main pool should have less country rock and more island relaxed vibe but it is Jimmy Buffet's after all

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in town for a long weekend and had an amazing time at the resort. The beach, the spa, the service all five stars. Since every room has a kitchen, the grocery store across the street makes it so convenient. Taking an Uber down to Miami Beach takes 15 minutes so you have the best of everything. Definitely staying there again next trip to Miami.
Cons: I wish the pool stayed open later but with the ocean right there no worries. Then again none of the hotels pools stay open past dusk, at least on the strip.
7.7 Good
Pros: There were lots of fitness classes to choose from and the spa area itself was really nice. We ate the breakfast buffet which was good with lots of healthy choices like salmon and capers and steel cut oatmeal. The location on the beach was wonderful.
Cons: We have stayed at many luxury resorts which were less $ and this one just didn't meet up with those standards. Staff was good but not great. Rooms were nice but not fabulous, you get the picture.... You are really paying a lot for the spa /fitness classes and since that wasn't our main purpose we only took one class so didn't take advantage of this. We did have a massage which was a lot more money than other 5 star hotels we've stayed at, but was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was formerly canyon ranch. It has all the amenities of canyon ranch with the location on the beach! Could not be better. Fitness instructors excellent
Cons: Teacher of strength class paid more attention to timing the segments than correcting our form
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa is fantastic, all massage therapists I had were excellent. The beach is spectacular. The menu for vegans and vegetarians was poor especially considering it was a health resort but the fried artichoke hearts were delicious.
Cons: The menu at the restaurant had few options for vegetarians. Not 1 salad filled with vegetables. They all had fruit or meat in them. I ate elsewhere during my stay.
