10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional service provided by Lee the owner Breakfast was freshly cooked
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food well cooked, parking permits
Cons: The bed was a bit to soft and the duvet to thick
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Marvelous host. Neat house. Well maintained. Comfy bed. Hearty breakfast prepared individually.
Cons: Bathroom a bit dated but as quality products have been used the overall impression is good (separate taps for cold and hot still waste a lot of water). A LOT of packages! Hygiene products, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, jam - everything is packaged in portions as it is commonly done in hotels. It would be a huge benefit to find an alternative way. Only fat and sugarfree yogurt (these are neither healthy nor taste good).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly greeting on arrival with help to sort ourselves out with little or no fuss. Clean and comfortable room with pleasant aspect. Food was good with nice presentation.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Lovely stay in this excellent BB. Arrived to a lovely welcome. Nice room, clean and spacious. Excellent value for money. Tea and coffee, bottles of water and toiletries. Bar service available on request. We returned after dinner to find a bottle of wine in our room as the bar was closed and chocolates on our pillows. Breakfast was lovely really good coffee. If in the area we will be back
Cons: Pillows could have been better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very good breakfast, you could choose how much of the cooked breakfast you wanted.
Cons: Could always hear when the people in the next room were coming or going.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great choice for my last minute booking. Staff very friendly and rooms and bed clean and very comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and presented well. Great value for money and will definitely come again when in the north east
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautifully presented hotel, having been recently fully refurbised to a very high standard. Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh and roomy enough for our needs. with an excellent on-suite shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Despite being on a busy road our room was quiet due to the efficient double glazing. The breakfast was perfect and served in a spacious and bright dining room. In terms of the location, it depends on what you are looking for. For us, on a cycling trip on NCN Route 1, it satisfied a need but Harlepool, as far as we saw, isn't exactly a tourist town. The hotel is located on the edge of the commercial area, at the start of residential streets. In summary, I'd heartily recommend the hotel but not the location if you're looking for a holiday stay.

Premier Inn Hartlepool Marina - Hartlepool - Building
5
8.6 Excellent (558 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved it from the time we arrived until we left. Fantastic location. Lovely staff, good food, just great! Being able to sit outside by the marina on a lovely sunny day was the icing on the cake.
Cons: Liked everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast next door in Brewers Fayre very good plenty of choice. Staff very friendly. Great location. Parking. Walk into town and retail park minutes away.
Cons: We were given 2 room both had not been cleaned. Not receptionist fault as she was told on the computer they were ready. Which wasted 35 mins walking up and down to the reception .
4.6 Okay
Pros: I did not like the fact i had been enticed by the double room and cheaper online! At first receptionist said " oh yes it is the single...?" . "..No, i was taken to the small dingy single room n said no thank you show me the double room i booked please" The cleaner dusted all the bedhead onto my pillows and did not change the bed Tuesday- as i would have expected. The extra pillows on top of the unit were grey looking. I received no pillow cases for them. I mentioned them specifically Tuesday. Monday i was too ill to get out of bed so i just asked for the bathroom to be cleaned and the table tops- cups n glasses to be changed. I was looking forward to the 'hypnos' bed:- The bed CREAKED every time i moved!
Cons: The room ( nu:5) did not look as if it had been cleaned n dusted. I found dust everywhere. There was a pubic hair on the bottom of the quilt sheet. The glass placed on the tea tray for water had lipstick mouth marks on it. The bath- i was looking forward to a hot soak- the bottom of the bath was cracked n the enammel coming off. It said it was cheaper online, but £124 became £152.00 for 2 nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For me this is one of the better Premier Inns. It has a good bathroom including a bath.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location in Hartlepool and lovely friendlystaff
Cons: Reception could have looked a tad more comfy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy
Cons: No air con or shaver socket
4.6 Okay
Pros: Staff were welcoming and friendly, trying to do their best. Receptionist was on her own late in the evening, but still came up to the room to try to help with the temperature, although that was beyond her control. I strongly urge you to address the current policy of only one member of staff available at night. That needs risk reassessment for a woman being on her own in a hotel generally, let alone a rough area like Hartlepool docks. Apart from the urgent ethical issue there, that's litigation waiting to happen from a corporate perspective if there were an incident.
Cons: Room and facilities generally are grubby / shabby. The hotel needs an upgrade and was a significant disappointment compared to other Premier Inn stays in the UK and abroad. Shower is weak. No A/C and room was around 27 degrees all night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was nicely located and the warmth and helpfulness of the staff made our stay very pleasant. They even acknowledged our anniversary by leaving a card, chocolates and a small bottle of wine which was really unexpected but greatly appreciated.

6.3 Good
Pros: Shower was good and power full bed was comfortable
Cons: This hotel offers free wifi but it doesn't work unless you are stood at the reception desk and it could do with more sound proofing from the A19 been right next to it
5.4 Okay
Pros: Disappointed
Cons: Floorboards creaky .television not working.no signal on phone or internet.couldnt get breakfast got told breakfasts between 745 to 8.45
10.0 Excellent
Pros: room great. food amazing
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was hot and plentiful. I hate a cold breakfast so well done the man who knocked mine up.
Cons: I hope you guys take this in the spirit it is meant in. I turned up Saturday afternoon to see a lot of the staff sitting around the entrance doing nothing. Some were smoking which I understand but to get to reception a guest has to walk past what is a less than inviting prospect. Add to that a host of staff cars racked up in front of reception it provides another reason that if I were passing trade; I would reverse out and go elsewhere. Once inside your hospitality was evident so please take this as constructive feedback. For three years on the same date I have visited you and this is the only time I have felt it necessary to comment in this way. I'll be back next year.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Traffic noise, all meals expensive
5.8 Okay
Cons: The beds squeaked glasses and cutlery were dirty no wifi, in room or bar bar closed early the breakfast was shocking - £6.95 for a bowl of corn flakes! won't be staying here next time
7.9 Good
Pros: We chose this hotel as we were travelling to meet family and it close to main roads. We were also attracted by the low price. Easy to find and plenty of free parking. The staff were friendly and the room was fine for what want expected.
Cons: The breakfast was most bizarre. We noticed that we were the only people taking the option, perhaps others already knew. The breakfast was described as continental which to me is usually a buffet of some sort but this was table service. First we got an apple and banana??, then we each got a bowl of cornflakes with milk already poured?? we then each got a little tray with warm rolls, sachets of jam and a big blob of peanut butter and another of Nutella. most bizarre indeed. Do NOT bother with breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bar and restaurant.
Cons: Noise (road, boy racers at 1 am)
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was not very clean and everywhere dusty. Stayed previously and it was much cleaner then.

7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing really
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great and welcoming and location was fab.
Cons: We stayed in room 2 located on the ground floor, the noise from the floor boards above us and the corridor was unbelievable, kept us awake most f the night and very early morning.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly, the accommodation is tired and needs updating. The guests appear to split into 2 categories, industrial workers and families. That's not a problem and they didn't affect us but it clashed a little with our expectations. Brilliant location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel, myself and my partner stayed for the weekend as we were taking part in the Great North Run, the hotel staff were very accommodating and so helpful, we were upgraded to The Warrior Suite, and it was beautiful. All in alll, a comfie, lovely stay, would definitely recommend.
Cons: I wouldn't say I didn't like, the room could perhaps just do with a little TLC here and there, but in no way does it affect the stay or anything like that.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Massive suite and great location
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Plenty of car parking. Great location with sea views. Traditional independent hotel.
Cons: The mould around the sealant of the bath. The peeling wall paper. The evidence of previous water leaks. The poor broadband. I was unable to do any work there. When I checked out I mentioned this. They know there is a problem with it so why not tell people when they check in. Uninspiring food menu.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Overall all very pleasant.
Cons: Basic amenities no little extras

1.0 Poor
Pros: Stayed here many times. Handy location comfortable room with huge flat screen TV. Great breakfast.
Cons: Can't think of anything bad to say.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nothing everything was disgusting
Cons: Everything the rooms were freezing we asked for heating it was on 10 mins at the most out breakfasts were disgusting I found 2 hairs in mine there was a leak in the dining room and there was no heating In the dining room and the water off the leak was dripping on our table I would like a refund it was not worth the money that's how bad our stay was
7.5 Good
Pros: The location The room was quite nice and clean for an old building
Cons: Parking was a nightmare as was on street and was only one hour till 8pm And then there was a car park 70p an hour at the health centre Breakfast was a disappointment it was only on 8-9 and it was quite busy they had to open the bar/ restaurant to seat us and it wasn’t laid out ready Also the young girl serving us was chewing gum and huffing a little ... also was really hurried taking order no pad to write it on just what do you want and off she went. As there was no menu I asked for poached egg on toast and my friend had scrambled but no choice on bread which in this day is shocking because of dietary requirements of some people I am also vegetarian /vegan so would have liked there to have been an option for me to not have had to have egg as I’m trying to cut it out
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast excellent. Best value for money I’ve had for a very long time

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else! I would definitely come back as the place is comfy, warm and the breakfast was delicious (and massive!).

1.0 Poor
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The hotel was falling apart. The whole place was filthy and leaking, we had to change rooms as the first room we were given had pubic hairs all over the bathroom. Will never stay there again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff where lovely from start to finish. Nothing to much for them to accommodate us. The bed so comfortable. The room very clean. And everything in the room you need hairdryer iron and iron board. The hotel is beautiful I love that it still have some of the original features.
Cons: I loved everything, the only thing was the roof was leaking in places, which is normal for a building that old. I had buckets outside my room collecting water. When the rain was heavy the water from the celling would come down heavy into the buckets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great quality food and drink
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good, room was huge, as was the bathroom.
Cons: The area was subject to vandalism. Only a few hotel car parking slots belong to hotel (across the road from hotel and those were to be paid extra for.. and were all taken) Further paid parking was next to these hotel slots and also next to a derelict building with most of its windows smashed by well aimed bricks. Bored youths were standing in dark corners of the building (no CC TV in either parking area) The Hotel itself is an impressive older industrial-age building with character stained-glass windows and the highest ceilings I have seen in a long time, but it was was also very tired and in need of a lick of paint. the room furniture could be replaced as it looked like it had been there since the 60s. A huge stained glass window that was next to an impressive staircase showed signs that the local youths had put bricks through several panes of it in the past (same as the derelict building across the road where my car was parked) At 3am in the morning I awoke with a start felt the urge to get up and check on my car :( ... I resisted it but did not sleep well after this (shouting and arguments heard in street at 1am obviously had put my mind in the wrong place for sound sleep :) )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are so lovely......and its very clean .
Cons: Very unloved now could do with some TLC .
7.5 Good
Pros: Didnot stay for breakfast expensive
Cons: I stayed in the Hotel in the 1970s has not changed since with staircases out of order Needs some TLC
4.2 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: To noisy late at night rooms being rearranged 1 in the morning, breakfast horrible, etc. How does this equate to a score of 4.2 more like 1.2
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The whole registration process
6.7 Good
Pros: Shower was terrible

Cons: Breakfast could be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was really comfy and staff were polite and very helpful.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The man who was put in the dining room was just put there to recieve all the slack the clients where to give he was patients taking in the angry complaints. I didn't like anything really just what I would like is for half of my money back pls.
Cons: The advert was for breakfast, is cereal breakfast, one day there is bread the next day there is no yoghurt, the third day the bread was steal, I was short for work I had to go to the supper market, in fact I wanted to buy breakfast and treat the clients. Broadday light stealing infact if I can get half of my money back I would be greatful I wouldn't recommend that place to my dog, the beds where springy and the bed bugs bite me I had to sleep on my towels, I had to beg for the internet you would think after collecting payment the gaffas would give it oh no. I just try to forget I went there.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: A basic budget hotel, games room/lounge. 2 kitchens for self catering. Our room was clean and comfortable, just right for what we wanted. Hotel rules state no loud noise/music, after 8pm. One of the quietest hotels I've stayed in, right on the sea front too.
Cons: The heating in our room came on and, with no thermostatic control to turn it off or down, the room did become very hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roomy and friendly staff
Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helped with my cases. Nice to be expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, peace, price
Cons: No internet signal on top floor and no info that it would work downstairs.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Check in was done by code and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect.
Cons: The radiator in our room had broken and couldn't be turned off and staff told us to cover it with towels as there was nothing they could do to fix it. So spent the 3 nights of my holiday sweating in heat. Even though it was a self catering hotel, there was no staff around at all during the specified office hours. Being a self catering hotel, there should be extra bin bags provided for guests but the kitchen bin was full and no spare bin bag to use.

Best value for money I’ve had for a very long time
Cons: Key fib didn’t work in front door. But I rang and it was sorted.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else! I would definitely come back as the place is comfy, warm and the breakfast was delicious (and massive!).
Cons: The Wifi password should be written in each one of the rooms since I have tried the password that they told me at the reception desk and didn't work :(
