Pros: Excellent snorkeling, great variety of food
Cons: No drink or food options near the sunset villas
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amari Havodda exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We were upgraded to a sunset pool villa on arrival, which had direct beach access into the lagoon which was crystal clear and ripe with marine life - fish, baby reef sharks and stingrays. In nine days, we had only two very short periods of rain after which the sea was still crystal clear and perfectly blue. The reefs around the resort are perfect for snorkelling - although the coral is mostly dead, the fish, turtles, sharks, stingrays and dolphins are amazing to see and can easily be accessed by beginner swimmers/snorkellers using the free snorkel equipment. We went snorkelling nearly every day and saw different species on every occasion, the highlight being a number of larger sharks just off the reef wall and several large sea turtles. I would recommend bringing your own snorkel mask and reef shoes if possible; we were happy to rent fins but having a good fit on your equipment makes the experience far more pleasurable. The lagoon, while lovely to swim in, has quite a lot of debris in the sand so without fins or reef shoes, you risk stepping on something (including a stingray if you venture out!) The buffet restaurant was far better than we imagined with heaps of fresh fruit and vegetables available every day, perfectly grilled fresh seafood and an array of dishes to suit almost any palate. We were lucky to experience Amari's Christmas Eve buffet which was beyond amazing - covering European, Asian and local delicacies and really making a Christmas away from home... probably the best Christmas meal we've ever had! We also went on the (additional cost) sunset dolphin cruise which was an amazing experience.
Cons: Upon arrival we were offered an 'upsell' on our package (from full board to all-inclusive). We had deliberately not selected all-inclusive in booking as neither of us are big drinkers - it simply is not worth it unless you are going to consume at least 5-6 alcoholic beverages per person per day. After a very long flight and domestic transfer, we felt a bit pressured to accept the upsell and subsequently regretted doing so. Amari kindly refunded us when we changed our mind (before any drinks were ordered) but this process was time consuming, convuluted and intruded on our relaxation time. While the upgrade was a good offer - a better rate than advertised on the website - guests should be given time to consider whether the package is appropriate for their circumstances rather than being asked to sign up 'on the spot' after 12hrs+ in transit - when all you really want to do is get to your room and have a lie down! We also had an extended wait upon departure (about five hours) with no access to further drinks etc. While unavoidable due to our domestic flight schedule, a complimentary drinks voucher for the bar would go a long way in this circumstance. Cocktails varied widely day to day (sometimes amazing, sometimes terrible) but hardly a problem - we learned to be more specific with what we wanted, and request more soda/spirits as needed. Feedback was always welcomed by the bar staff who were very accommodating. We were a little disappointed by the lack of interesting options at the Ember Grill - but if we had our chance again we'd just eat at the (included) buffet instead!
7.1 Good
Pros: We only stayed for one night as a stopover to our resort in the south but luckily enough to see a meteorite shower and numerous shooting stars flying across the nights sky
Cons: US$90 per person so a 10 mins speed boat transfer from Male airport is very over priced and made a quick stopover a very expensive one
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Little far from Male, but very nice place, with beautiful nature and clean ocean. Comfortable for snorkeling and amazing reef! Very kind staff, delicious food, well designed hotel. Love this island!

Pros: Our experience at Amari was amazing. We recommend the Overwater villa for a really great experience. The island is beautiful with nice beaches and smooth sand. We recommend the snorkeling tour provided by Amari and the dolphins cruise. The coral reef was simply stunning. We saw a lot of fishes (sharks, catfish, turtle, dolphins etc.). The service and food were great. If you are not much of a drinker, we recommend to have the Full board meal plan. The people were very nice and helpful when needed.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Love the facility ideal place if you are planning for a vacation with your partner ...sunset at the sundown bar is simply amazing, staff and polite and very helpful
Cons: The medical staff is unprofessional and I was charged for the treatment which was totally uncalled for
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is stunning. The island is surrounded by a beautiful reef so we made plenty of use of the complimentary snorkelling equipment. It’s all so picture perfect. The main restaurant had a great selection of food, all very well cooked. The staff were excellent; well trained, friendly and helpful. From the waiting staff (Rasheed was amazing and speaks a ridiculous number of languages) to the the water sports team, spa team and maintenance staff.
Cons: The water sports were prohibitively expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food is mindblowing, there is an incredibly wide choice and the menu changes on a daily basis. There is genuinely no limit to the Chef's creativity and every dish is made with the greatest attention to detail. Amazing flavours and some of the best food i ever had. Our Water villa was a dream. The staff is especially what made the difference. They were kind, welcoming, professional and made our vacation unforgettable with daily events of different kinds. Always with a smile on their faces and genuine care, they were really one of the highlights of our stay. Really recommend the Robinson.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was absolutely awesome! I usually spend a lot of time selecting the location for holidays, and carefully select places to meet my expectations. Robinson exceeded my expectation in every single aspect of our stay there. Water villas are offering exceptional level of privacy so that you can literally have everything without the need to go outside, and they are cozy and spacious. All meals and beverages were at quite decent levels, and hotel management organizes a lot of events for the guests, at the same time not bothering those who don't want to take part in them. Island where hotel is located is quite small but rather picturesque, and snorkeling and diving are great there. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and all our requests were fulfilled immediately. On top of all this, we were guided by the hotel staff throughout our journey from Male to Robinson, and they made this journey absolutely comfortable.
Cons: Everything was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff very welcoming, the partying, the exceptional food, the activities during the stay, the accommodation.
Cons: 1. You can feel it in the air that is a german resort, and what was annoying during all our stay was the fact that they only speak in german although there were a lot of asians and non-german people on the island. Concrete exemples: - when we arrived, the manager (big one) was waiting at the jetty to welcome the new guest. We were 2 groups: a big one of 7 - europeans and a small one, family of 4 - german. The manager passed by us and welcomed the german group and for us was sent a tinny maldivian employee who barely knew English. - at the beginning of every party the manager said some words for all the guests of the island but in... German. No need to say that we were numb. - one night they presented a special night: a presentation of Maldives. Everyone was watching the movie and a manager was explaining all the slides .... in German. We waited for the English version but they skipped that part. The only ones who deserved all our respect were the guys from Deep Breeze - water sports. They helped us every time and they were speaking english all time. Also the Food and Beverage guys were exceptional (Nadja is the most respectful guy I ever met). 2. I don’t know if it is because of the water or something else but the bathroom plumbing and accessories were in bad shape, rusty and damaged. That was the only thing bad in matter of accommodation. 3. Check out very attentive what all inclusive package means. Conclusion: We spent a lovely time here, being a big group we had fun every night, the island is ready for you if you wanna party, dance, play or socialize. But the language barrier is very annoying. I can compare other resorts visited from Maldive with this one and I can confirm that everyone is using English like an international language. Can’t figure it out why Robinson has this kind of issues. Hopefully they will understand in time and make everyone feel good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Delicious food,comfortable room,nice staff
Cons: None
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great: from the moment we arrived until we left in a week. Most of all we liked the atmosphere on the island. Everyone is smiling and looking so happy and relaxed. I would call it a Happy Island. We loved the food very much, which was made with various sauces and lots of love :) The spa in the Club makes you forget about the reality for a couple of hours. I loved the sound of the healing tibetan bowls in the beginning of the spa ritual. The color of the water is so beautiful, white sand, tranquility in this little paradise in 40 kilometers from eqator. makes you turn of your brain from the outer world and feel the real taste of life.
Cons: You can only be a disappointed if you come here by yourself - in that case you won't have who to share your happiness with ;)

Pros: Staff were so wonderful every single one of them they really made the trip the best experience ever.
Cons: The only downside is the traveling to the place it’s so far away from Male airport but once you arrive you forget how tired you are just from the scenery surrounding you and the wonderful staff you are greeted by.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: - The bedsheet was not clean. - The mesquites everywhere and others bugs. - the Air condition is poor. - Food selection is poor and available menus not tasty at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff made it the experience it was. They were always willing to help and go a step further. The location was secluded and amazing, it felt at times as though you had the whole island to yourself. Oh and I must mention laila, she was the best. She catered to all my wife’s needs.
Cons: Besides it being slightly on the expensive side, I was hoping the resort would throw in a honeymoon treat for me and the Mrs that other resorts did for my friends. Just a suggestion...!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is perfect for a couples retreat. The staff were vert friendly and and did everything they could to make sure we had a great time. I would recommend staying here.
