Staff was very friendly. Checked us in and gave us a sheet of paper informing us of rules and policies. Breakfast buffet was offered at a reasonable price and selection of food was excellent. Hotel room was cleaned and serviced at about 12:00pm-2:00 pm, found out when we slept in late but when we didn't we came back to a very tidy room with new towels and bath robes. Free lan internet was provided so I could upload pictures I took and update friends and family on how I was doing while in Japan. :) Check out was at 10:00am but or flight was at 9:45pm which was very sad but staff was able to hold or luggage for us while we walked around town for the last time. Also in the lobby were maps of the surrounding area which was very helpful. I would not mind staying at this hotel again.
This hotel was in a great location, very close to Shinsaibashi shopping street in Osaka. The room was clean, though we originally asked for a non-smoking room and were put in a smoking room, which really stank. This was changed on our second night after we complained and a non-smoking room became available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was tiny and really just a bed for the night, not a place to hang out.
I stayed in Chisun Inn Hommachi last April 2010 and was satisfied with the cleanliness and overall appearance of the room. This hotel is walking distance to the subway about 3-4 blocks away and there were many restaurant, 7-11 and stores available in the vicinity. They also have a morning breakfast with a fee and also reasonable and tasty. My only complaint is the male person in the front desk morning shift who seemsto be unfriendly everytime I need to ask something. Maybe, English communication seems to be a problem. But I will still recommend this hotel to anybody.
Conveniently located by the subway station Friendly, English speaking front desk Great lobby and hotel facilities You get what you paid for! The hotel lobby was so nice that I was very disappointed when I got to my room. The carpet was sticky and towels were stiff. The room was pretty run down and I felt like it was not the same vibe I got from the hotel lobby. However, for how much I paid, it was well worth the location.
+ Stayed in the 41st floor of the hotel... Amazing view. + A/C button on the control panel near the beds was also a heater! (Warm & toasty) + Was always greeted with a nicely made bed and replenished amenities. Drank roasted green tea every morning during my stay. + Convenient location! JR and subway lines are a short walk away from the airport! + Remember to check the drawers! I missed out on wearing a hotel yukata to sleep. + Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, as well as other amenities included in the room. + Comfortable beds! - I paid a price that was a little higher than advertised. However, the price is still good and I wouldn't mind staying here again!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was clean and quiet. The room was disappointing. The beds were very hard and the room was all the way on the other side of the building away from the elevators.
When you arrive at Universal City, you simply have exit the station and you are less than a minute from the hotel. Then to make it better, you are just across the from the park. Food, staff, and area were great. Bed a little hard, it is to be expected. Very easy to get to the aquarium and huge ferris wheel (only 10 mintues by ferry, which is across the street). Truly enjoyed the hotel and because of this, we were able to enjoy our time in Osaka.
The location can't be beat if Universal Studios is your destination. It is also right next to the Universal City train station. The lobby is grand and swanky - reminded me of the recent Great Gatsby film. You can buy your Universal Studios tickets and Express Passes at a desk in the lobby. We were not able to check in early, but they did hold our bags, and even delivered them to the room when we came back at check-in time. The breakfast buffet is expensive; it is not included in the room price.
Location to the Senrichuo station was fantastic. Hotel was nicer and roomier than expected (we had a twin room). In-room amenities (fridge, toiletries, tea, hot pot, etc) were great. Our only complaint is that we couldn't quite get the air conditioning to work, so our room was a little warm and stuffy. I am sure that if we had asked for help the friendly staff would have taken care of it.
nice clean room too far from Shinsaibashi
The Guest Relations were very helpful in providing maps to places I wanted to go. They would checked for information from the internet and made sure we knew our way around.
very nice hotel, clean, kind personnel. very comfortable bathroom. nice view to the city, although the castle view room doesn't offer a direct view to it (you have to bend your head quite much...). The hotel is close to 2 railway stations and one subway station, close to the castle and to the aqua-bus (right in front of the hotel). Personnel in the Four Seasons restaurant not english speaking and not kind with the clients...
Close to castle and good views - close to station also Had to pay large fees for everything extra ie internet and fitness facilities
Old room, accessories, location of the room etc, far away from a 5 star hotel.
The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful with tourist information and all of them spoke excellent English. The room was amazing. Very clean and all of our needs were met beyond exception. An excellent experience and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
