It was walking distance from coffees restaurants pubs and shops ...
Too crowded in a small place rooms are all inside the kitchen no air conditioning or windows , rooms too laud because very close where 50 pax seat , there is even no hair dryer , they didn’t bother the set up beds plus were asking you to clean after you !!! I am mot expecting too much from a hostel i am just comparing other hostels i stayed in Cairns and Asia many destinations... it was very poor staff even not greet with patrons just sit in the counter !!
Made the booking as free parking was available, but from 1st November there are charges. Price is scheduled to go up further in December, so worth factoring in to the cost when deciding where to book.
Staff was helpful
No kettle in the room
Free filtered water and the lounge area is quite nice.
Toilets and showers were pretty old and not always clean, kitchenware was very used and the provided dishwashing detergent etc wasn't sufficient to clean it properly.
Lobby is TOP! It’s huge, comfortable and warm. We really appreciated, specially during those cold days in Hobart. Hostel is allocated in a quiet area but 10 or 15 mins walking to any point in the city center. Staff are nice and helpful. They are cleaning and getting everything ready around anytime.
Wifi was not fast, specially during busy times. We would appreciate soaps or champoo in the bathroom. Pillows were to hight.
