Good breakfast although food needed to be hotter for british pallet
The reception area needed updating and a more relaxed atmosphere for bar. No bar service was offered and no TV on in bar area not a pleasant place to sit and relax
The property is within walking distance of Wan Chai and the MTR which was fantastic. After we seen how small our first room was we asked to pay for a larger room which cost a further €100 but we were put on a high floor with a stunning view of Hong Kong city. The breakfast buffet was fantastic also and you could have fresh eggs made for you each morning which was great. The hotel manager Kelvin was lovely. He gave me great tips for my following trip in Japan.
The room sizes are tiny! Even after paying to upgrade the room was still relatively small compared to other hotels. The biggest downfall of our stay here was the room next door being renovated!! The first morning they began drilling and sawing at 9 am and when we advised the management of this they said it would only be for an hour. This went on for three. It was the same the next day, and the next day.... on three occasions we spoke to management to at this point complain of our frustration that we were told an hour the first day and we had paid an extra €100 for a better room to be woken the majority of our stay at 8 am each morning with drilling and banging. It was that loud It could have been in our own room! I was told it was emergency upgrades needed in the room and all we received was an apology. It great at all and this was the big let down of an otherwise fantastic trip to Hong Kong and nice hotel.
I love that they give us a cellphone with WIFI HOTSPOT to take with us, so we didn't need to buy a sim card, it also had minutes to call in HK, it was really helpfull. We arrived earlier and they give us the room before the time, that was nice too.
The size of the room. It was extremely tiny. I stayed with a friend so we asked for a room with 2 beds, but it was like 1 because they were together, we couldn't separate them because of the size of the room, they didn't fit apart.
I like the break fast. not much clouded and nice staff.
Air condition is a bit noisy and difficult to control wind power.
