Pros. Returned to the Kiang Haad in September for the second time in 15 months The hotel has changed hands from De Varee and has very slightly dropped standard Staff and hotel remain excellent and the position perfect for beach and local amenities It’s far enough from town to be peaceful yet close enough to enjoy the bars and night market (short Tuk Tuk trip) Food and drink remain excellent and competitive with local priced, however the hotel would benefit from longer opening times for the bar (plus some more seating) as you have to go to town if you want a beer beyond 10pm The hotel setup and room haven’t changed since our first visit, but a few things have: 1. Room Service isn’t visible and looks to have been withdrawn 2. Towels are no longer at the pool and provided in a beach bag in the room (nice touch), but there wasn’t any offer of exchange for clean towels while we were there 3. The offer of discount on food and non alcoholic drinks wasn’t automatically discounted on check out Overall the hotel remains excellent and despite a few changes since it changed hand I would return again and recommend to others
