Some heat up during the check in and delay for very long. And the cleanliness of the room are not value for money
The check in and out . Room not up to expectation
view is the best
Comfortable room. Staff were very courteous
The staff were helpful. Tin the main restaurant they served very cold red wine, which was replaced. The Japanese restaurant was excellent.
The rooms and the views are the stand out features of this hotel along with the breakfast staff who were super helpful. To be honest the breaky staff are super nice and I appreciate their help with everything. They got to know what I wanted and I love the effort they put in. I wish they could have the same level of service at reception.
Tried to book extra nights however trying to call reception you have to call the operator from the phone to put you through and she said "sorry reception is really busy now, you should go down and talk to them" - What, so I can just stand in line for 30 minutes when I want to give you another 3000 RMB for more nights. How hard can this be. Stuck with no solution and no extra nights, I simply gave up. I'm here for 10 days, I tried this hotel again after the first night I had noisy people next door. I decided to give it another chance to be fair, well. So I have to checkout as I can't add extra nights to my stay. I pack up my whole suitcase and head for reception. I check out and explain the situation. The guy says "sorry about that we had a big group, I can add the extra nights now if you like" aahhhh well, I just spent an hour packing all my stuff so I booked the remaining 4 nights at Kempinski where I am now. Since my staff will be coming and I am here every month I wanted to give my staff some options. Anyway, the Kempinski is a clear winner. The only thing this place has is the view but I could just go there for coffee or sit in the bar anyway. The indoor pool is pretty average, gym not great, breakfast super crowded (though I love the staff, I really appreciate their effort to help me with everything and recommend local dishes. I have to be fair the breaky staff were really great) Check-in and check out of this hotel is just slow and having people try to cut the line and talk over you while you're being service I just wanted to slap some people. Anyway, I'm used to that custom here.
Found a ciggarette butt in the shower area. Housekeeping had not done their job properly.
