Bed and pillows comfortable and room and linens clean and fresh. Older decor but very clean.
Old out dated room and dirty
Decent stay considering the lack of options in the
This was one of just a couple motel options in a few hundred mile radius. It's moderately affordable compared to other Yellowstone area places, but it's heavily traveled so you'll probably have to book ahead of time. The rooms were small and dated, but fairly clean and comfortable. After driving all day in the wilderness and mountains, it was a warm welcome. The staff was super friendly and overall it was a pretty good experience.
This is a $50/night motel with inflated prices because of location. It's only about 1.5 hrs from Yellowstone with almost no other traditional motel options nearby. The archway made of deer antlers seems a bit odd, but whatever. Also, BEWARE...the town seems to completely shut down at about 9pm...so don't expect to grab some late night food anywhere.
Price was good.
Tv was out dated, could use some tlc on paint and general maint.
Front desk staff friendly & accommodating. I asked for a room change because there was no grab bar in the shower. Self-serve breakfast included waffles & biscuits & gravy along with lighter fare. Good value for families. The rear parking lot has a small bridge to the 2-mile walk along the green belt to the falls & lovely volunteer-created Japanese garden. I would market this marvelous tourist feature. San Antonio doesn't have impressive falls like IF.
My 1st room had lines of dust on the carpet where Housekeeping hadn't bothered to move a chair to vacuum. AC/heat units very dated & noisy. Housekeeping unplugged the lights on either side of the bed when they cleaned & didn't plug them in again.
