Pros: Exceptionally clean with a beautiful good sized bathroom.Bed very comfortable with good views on to the beach. There as a proper plug in hairdryer (best ever). There was plenty of free parking near the bed and breakfast and the breakfast room was large, bright with a balcony .The live in host/owner Fausano was very helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was very minimal for the 2 room occupancy.Very limited selection on offer to eat however coffee and tea was plentiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was good with nice view of the sea rooms were large and airy and very clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We (my mum and me) were travelling with a one year old toddler and have been received with the utmost hospitality, warmth and helpfulness to make our stay as convenient as possible. The owners even bought a camping bed especially for toddler boy and served us an extra early breakfast. The view from the room and the breakfast room right in front of the Mediterranean is stunning. We'll definitely come back if we are around again. We enjoyed our short stay very much!
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host was very charming, attentive and kind. He was always there for us when needed and despite a slight language barrier did his everything for us to enjoy our stay. The room and the bathroom were both beautiful and spacious enough. Location is great - beach is near and so are several good restaurants on the other side of the main street. The building where the B&B is located is fancy and quiet. Breakfast was solid and it was great to enjoy it on the balcony with just the perfect view of the sea and the beach boulevard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very friendly, confy room with beautiful seaview.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the fact that I could make a cup of tea at any time using the kettle in the breakfast room. The fridge in our room was a good amenity to have. The owner was lovely, enjoys meeting new people it seems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close by the center town with a nice view on the promenade. Really clean property with nice clean bed room. Bathroom with toilet brand new and clean. Nice breakfast to start the day. I definitely had a good stay there. In a quiet and warm place ( was bitterly cold at that time).
Cons: I stayed only one night there. And didn’t see bad side on this property. No parking place fron of the property place. Or if you’re lucky you might have a parking place. But there is a big free parking by the port and 500m from the property was fine for me. Not long to walk.

Cons: No kettle or cups provided in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely small hotel is located at the Southern end of the Imperia promenade. If you are driving, you have to travel through two small tunnels under the SS1 (thankfully most of the cars in Italy are small) to reach the hotel, which is on the corner as you turn left onto the main drag. We were quickly shown where to park our car (parking was free) and check-in was painless. We had waited too long to book our room, so we received the last available room (there are only 6 rooms total). Our room #1 is on the 1st floor and nearby to the staff entrance to the hotel. Despite the proximity to the staff entrance, we heard no noise and the room was spacious, clean and thankfully had wonderful air conditioning. I suspect that the other rooms (especially on the 2nd floor) have better views -- but we were more than satisfied. The hotel also had a lovely pool and it came in handy when we were there as Italy was having a horrible heatwave (95+ degrees) The breakfast in the morning had a good number of choices and was very satisfying. The hotel also has its own restaurant on-site, but you need to make reservations in advance for their restaurant as they were fully booked the night we were there. (We did have dinner at La Bonga Pizzeria right down the street that night and the food was great, but again I would recommend a reservation as it was completely full by 7 PM). The hotel was a great value and the location was very good for exploring the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really Friendly owners, plenty of great restaurants nearby good beaches close by and good walks.
Cons: Need more pedal bikes as only 2 in hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and pool
Cons: Room was tired, requires decorating and rewiring. Outside room space was poor, no patio area due to stairs leading to above apartments. Also noise from food prep area next to room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice friendly staff and fantastic food
Cons: Mozzies
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts with a lovely property and pool close to a beach
Cons: Even the weather was perfect!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a last minute selection to break up our travel through to Tuscany, and it turned out to be an absolute delight. Brunella was friendly, accommodating and made sure our stay was memorable. The included breakfast was excellent and it was nice to get a real cup of Italian coffee after drinking French coffee for a week. Ww would love to have stayed on a little longer as Imperia is a beautiful coastal town, perhaps we will come back for another visit!
Cons: For us, getting to the property was a little difficult, but some of the locals helped us out and we got there in the end.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool area and the exterior of the restort were excellent.
Cons: Ground floor appartements can have pathways just next to the windows and doors and virtually no private garden.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The resort is very well maintained and exactly as described . The staff were very friendly and helpful indeed. We were met by Silvia who showed us to our 2 bedroom apartment and explained how everything worked. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of home made cakes, bread and fresh fruits. Nothing was too much trouble for the people working there. Every room had air conditioning and we had a nice terrace to sit outside in the evening. There is a small supermarket 5 mins walk away and the beach with sunbeds to rent is about another 5 mins walk.
Cons: The WiFi connection wasn't great in the apartment but seemed work well outside. There are not really enough sun loungers around the pool for the number of guests. After 9.30 they were all reserved.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Setting was amazing. So much attention to detail. Well worth a stay. Pool beautiful.
Cons: Would have been better with king size bed instead of double.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else!
Cons: The only suggestion is to reserve chairs at the pool per chamber (for example 2 chairs with 204 stamped).
10.0 Excellent

Perla Nera - Imperia - Bedroom

9.1 Excellent (138 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bathroom very clean and freshly painted. Comfy bed with nice veiw.
Cons: Breakfast average
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room in a recently renovated old bulding, centrally located with beautiful view!!!! Maybe the best place to visit the area since everything was in walking distance!!! Fantastic owner, gave us lots of advice how to explore the area. There were so many complimentary croissants and juices, water, coffee etc. that we really enjoyed. Thank you so much for the hospitality!!! Highly recommended.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean room
Cons: Breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The little hotel La Perla Negra is marvelous. The rooms are brandnew, clean, quiet and in charming mediteranian color. The reception is in fact a cosy living room where you can make coffee, etc. The staff is outstanding friendly and helpful. They run an excellent fish restaurant as well at the ground floor. We enjoyed our dinner there. It was only a single night stopover for us this time, but we will definitely come back!
4.5 Okay
Cons: Was hoping the owners would have been a little more lenient while flight problems re-routed us through Germany. Was not able to make it to Italy to use the room. Staff said they could not help with any flexibility when we notified them of our situation that morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a super, small guesthouse. It comprises 3 bedrooms which all front onto a shared lounge. Lounge has tea & coffee making facilities and the bedrooms have a small fridge with free juice & water and free pastries which were excellent. Rooms are clean & comfy. Rooms are above the Al Gambero restaurant and check in is at the restaurant or by phoning the number on the gate when the restaurant is closed. Easy check in & super friendly hosts. Paid parking (10 euros) is available opposite in the restaurants own parking slots. Dont be put off by the access to the property. Entrance is to the back of the restaurant and part of the building is 16th century., through an ancient looking door and up a dark stone staircase. At the top, all changes into a bright modern property. Dog friendly, allowed for free. Good location on the marina where you will find many bars & restaurants. Sunbathing beaches are close by at a cost. Considering we were on the Italian Riviera where prices can generally be high, we found La Perla Nera to be good value and I would stay again
Cons: Breakfast was supposed to be included in the room rate but we were not given details of how to obtain it. (Apparently it is served offsite). It was not a problem, we just had the coffee & pastries from the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fab staff & location
Cons: Breakfast was just in a small basket in your bed room pre packed c.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. We would recommend downstairs for meals.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean.
Cons: Imperia is not a busy city, therefore I would say, the price is still too high for the end of the season.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing place to stay . They went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and with an awesome smile too!! If i am ever in the area again I won't stay anywhere else!!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff en place.
Cons: Swimming pool must be use 24 hrs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent. Pool, unit and grounds very spacious and clean. Loved the grass and all the plants
Cons: Everything was excellent
7.5 Good
Pros: The double bed was enormous and the whole site very clean and calm. Staff especially helpful & friendly.
Cons: Sadly, the photos of the swimming pool were misleading. We expected it to be much bigger. We have teenage children and the pool was more suitable for young children. Also, the chalet we stayed in was poorly equipped. It needs a dressing table and some kind of mirror in the double room, hooks/shelving in the bathroom for towels and toiletries etc. and the kitchen area was tiny and not really set up for self catering. Also, no wine glasses were provided. Much as we enjoyed the Rebi Village atmosphere, we felt it was like an oasis in a not very safe, scruffy area of Imperia.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything, beginning with the staffs customer service and friendliness. Accommodations are well kept & clean. The breakfast is good. The pool and facilities were clean and convenient for our children as well.
Cons: Was a little thrown off when we first arrived to the area because of all the graffiti and the run down camping park next to RebiVillage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable, room a great size
Cons: no table or seating at the grill area
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice pool. Good restaurants around.
Cons: More like self service apartment. Location is clean but outside on the street rubbish everywhere. Saw a rat on the street outside. View towards the motorway viaduct is not loud, but also not very exciting. Nice for some days but would not plan for longer stay. Variety of breakfast low - however quality good. Expensive all in all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Safety, Security, Staff are amazing and probably some of the most beautiful people on this planet. Pool is great.. A.C. is great. Loads of staff you will never be left waiting...latte 2 euro and good...croissants 1 euro...food onsite is really good. Just great passion. WIFI IS GREAT. Kids loved the little puppy Hector...
Cons: Maybe a little more to do after 8pm..although they are trying... Room could be a little darker...but staff can help. Some ants but so what..easy to avoid..
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool area was amazing and the entire place super child friendly. The room had a small garden too for private use. Fantastic for a family to relax.
Cons: The kitchen and its contents were quite limited. One had to be creative to be able to cook in it with such a small space and barely any kitchenware. The lifeguard was supposed to be in service from 9:30h but he never was before lunch time...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: -

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel, decoration, comfort and amenities of the room and Staff available to solve problems.
Cons: When we arrived, the door to my mother's room would not close so down to reception to resolve. In the meantime we could not open our door so back down to reception and change of room....unfortunately as the walls are paper thin and our neighbours turned out to be inconsiderate drunkards who returned to their room at 2am and made so much noise we had to finally call reception who resolved the problem.

Residence Villa Marina - Imperia - Building

A stay at Residence Villa Marina places you in the heart of Imperia, within a 5-minute drive of Monumento a Edmondo De Amicis and Cathedral of San Maurizio. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pool was good and had a great stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of Villa is wonderful! Ancient Hause! Büro Mädchen waren super! Margarita, Alicia! Bravo!
Cons: in the villa we were 6 nights. everything is fine, except for cleaning. You suggest a vacuum cleaner one per floor. For cleaning brushes are not enough! but everything else is great! Villa Marina, the coolest place in the Imperia!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming Grand old Villa in superb private location which has been tastefully converted to modern apartments with an open plan living / dining / kitchen space and a cosy bedroom. Excellent facilities, especially the ice cool A/C and a wonderful swimming pool, both of which were a welcomed relief from the sweltering heat / humidity of mid July. Convenient, ample car parking in the surrounding private gardens. Extremely helpful, kind & friendly staff along with a lovely black cat, all of whom made us feel very welcomed.
Cons: The bathroom had an unusual layout as it was long & narrow with a tall celling and the shower cubical was rather small. The toilet was squeezed in a tight corner behind the bathroom door while the bidet was in an open corner next to the small shower cubical. Bigger shower cubical along with toilet / bidet relocations swap would make a great improvement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The tennis court, swimming pool, view and location all excellent.
Cons: Beds very soft and therefore uncomfortable. This was the second year we stayed at villa marina. Each time the on site restaurant has disappointed us due to it being overpriced with a limited menu and many of the dishes on the limited menu have been unavailable on each visit. This year there was live music on two nights out of 7. We did not choose the villa to listen to music. We wanted lovely scenery and peacefulness. Whilst the musician on the Friday was melodious and enjoyable the music on Saturday was just too loud and invasive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic old Villa, very large apartments and excellent views of the Marina !
Cons: Nothing to dislike, however a restaurant or evening meal would be a welcome addition. You will love this place, excellent value.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely pool and nice to have a tennis court. Staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating Bar / restaurant on site served very nice, good value paninis, gorgeous homemade cakes and fabulous coffee - very nice staff there too.
Cons: Tennis court was a bit uneven which caused a couple of falls Hooks in bathrooms / bedrooms would be appreciated Air con was v effective but v noisy!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect, friendly host Wonderfull sea wiew Spacious apartments, air condition Swimming pool
Cons: - way to the beach is not comfortable, too big trafic.
7.5 Good
Pros: We booked this hotel when the other hotel room wasn't suitable and had been described wrongly. We were already in Imperia and had to find something pdq. We booked and turned up. Big house, rooms are like apartments, good location. no problems...

Pros: The location is excellent to visit the city and the seaside . The hotel is in the middle of the pictoresk old town . Although in the middle of busy streets the hotel is on a small square where the owner made a very lovely flowergarden where you can relax and have breakfast. .The owneris very friendly .He helped us when we had problems with our car : he contacted garage because we don't speak italian.
Cons: we liked everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in quiet place, close to sea. Parking nearby that was very handy. Nice owner whose English is however limited, but it was not problem. Decent breakfast, as per Italian standards - i.e. no hot food.

Pros: Extremly
Cons: Extremely small bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money, helpful owners, and central position.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - The staff is simply the best!!! - The breakfest was great... and the coffee just perfect!!! - The room was clean and cozy - The garden was a nice place to relax in - There is a parking place available (altough one might have a problem with fitting a bigger car in there) - There is a big ceiling fan in the room which helps even in the biggest heat. - 5 min. walking distance from the nearest beach.
Cons: It is difficult to find the hotel while driving. The only big sign is situated on the crossroads, but since the street is one way only you can't turn there and you have to take a tunnel to reach the right side of the street, leading to the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Neighbourhood with old town, a lot of restaurants, etc. Close enough to the sea. Nice garden for breakfast and to rest.
Cons: No air conditioner in the room (it is not a caprice there in late July and August). However, we solved the issue by making no delay in the room in the evening and by opening the balcony door wide at night.

So glad we chose this hotel!!!

Cons: We arrived by car and had some difficulty finding the hotel, finally reaching it by going the wrong way up a one way street. However, once there it was a haven of peace.

Cons: The beach in front of the hotel is expensive. The price is 20 Euro per day for 2 persons. But there is a free little beach just next the paid one. There are also free beaches next the marina. The parking is a bit expensive, 10 Euro per day.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, wellcleaned, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was more than expected. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. We had a wonderful stay!
4.3 Okay
Pros: only the location
Cons: Totally unfriendly reception staff. They have two parkings one in front of the hotel and the other one the other side of the street. If you need to leave, the are to lazy to help you open the locker, so you have to go back and forth. The breakfast is a disaster, especially the coffee from this disgusting machine. (we are in Italy!) on our last day the called us in the morning, by mistake, they said and did not even apologize. They are also completely inflexible. Altough check in is at 2:00 PM, we were not able to use the parking until then. Rooms are totally overpriced. Bathroom is so small that only one person fits in

Same breakfast everyday......

Hotel Italia - Imperia

5.5 Okay (37 reviews)
5.5 Okay
Pros: Friendly hotel staff (two elderly couple).
Cons: The old hotel is located near the main road and the noise in the room through the night was significant due to really old windows. The temperature in the room was high - there was only an electric ventilator in the room, which was not sufficent to reduce °C. The beds were old, the materaces in really bad shape. The bathroom was OK, only a querky bath/shower. Breakfast was included in the price, but a cup of coffe and a few biscuits and croissants I would not call a breakfast (no bread, salami, cheese...).
