5.0 Okay
Pros: Hosts were wonderful and caring and went out of their way to make our checkin comfortable
Cons: We stayed 2 nights the first night was comfortable but the room and bathroom is extremely small. The second night we stayed we had two groups either side of us who were extremely noisy until 130am in the morning and then started again at 6am. This is a traditional Korean Hanok stay and we are told it's not soundproof so please be quiet after 10pm. Obviously both of our neighbor's either didn't get the instructions or they didn't care. I slept about 3 hours on the second night due to the constant noise...People need to show respect for other guests in these types of accommodation...A nice Hanok stayed ruined by disrespectful and ignorant tourists who have no consideration for others...
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful traditional house near the old town. People were very friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee.
Cons: The futon is very thin, so if you have trouble sleeping on a hard floor, like me, then you won’t get much sleep. Bathroom was freezing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was so kind and really made the experience special. Our rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight – made by the owner in his cafe next door and it really topped off a wonderful stay :)
Cons: Obviously beds arent what we are used to in Australia! But as long as you know what you're in for it isn't bad!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice Hanok near the river. 15min taxi drive from Jeonju KTX station. Futon in the room with good floor heating, more than warm enough.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, a tasty free breakfast and a very nice location in the Hanok village. The room itself was a refurbished Hanok which was both comfortable and traditional.
Cons: The shower was a bit awkward as it was over the toilet. The bath towels were also very small (though many were provided).
Happyok Guest House Jeonju - Jeonju - Building

9.6 Excellent (46 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Could thank the guys enough, our favourite hotel of the holiday. Very personal
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent - easy access to public transportation and the Hanok village. The rooms are basic but offered everything I needed. I really appreciated the experience of Korean-style accommodation in this beautiful old house and the lovely garden. The owner is very friendly and was always extremely helpful with my weird questions and requests. Thank you for making my time in Jeonju so memorable!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming host, who goes above and beyond to meet our requests.
Cons: The toilet ventilation could be improved further.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: very nice and warmy。
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a lovely stay in Jeonju. The owners were super friendly. Would definitely come back if going to Jeonju.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was so kind and welcoming, he made us a great breakfast each morning and gave us a map of the Hanok Village and some recommendations. Room was very cosy and warm, we also had our own door to access the terrace. The location is also great- very close to all the main sights in the village and a great craft beer bar, Nomadic.
Cons: It was a perfect stay all around!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere at this guesthouse is utterly divine! If you like arty and beautiful surroundings, stay here. The cafe, and building itself combine the beauty of Korean traditional housing with inspiring modern design. The staff were very friendly. The floor in my room was warm, and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a water dispenser in the main area which I appreciated. The sleeping mat and blankets were bright white and cozy.
Cons: The walls are very very thin! At arrived super tired and needing a good sleep. I fell asleep quickly but woke up to the sounds of a noisy kid and a lady talking her phone. You can really hear the people in the rooms around you, so if you are sensitive to noise, this place might not be a good choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and always willing to help. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. If I return to Jeonju, I will definitely choose this place again.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owner. Walking distance to attractions. Beautiful house, highly recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was warm and inviting. He gave us many excellent recommendations for restaurants in the Hanok village. The walk to the main village was very short and passed by many beautiful streets, so it didn't seem far at all! The breakfast facilities were perfect for us and the free ice cream was a nice touch.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host (family)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and a lovely clean room. Great location for the Hanok village. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The owner was very friendly and incredibly generous.
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the size of the bathroom and the free ice cream! The location was great - only a short easy walk from the Hanok village and we loved being able to use kitchen facilities, especially because western breakfasts are hard to come by in Korea.
Cons: The mattress on the floor was a little harder than these westerners are used to, but we booked it deliberately for an authentic experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Typical Korean traditional house with excellent facilities !!! I booked this property very last minute and it was mid night. The host was waking up and giving directions until I reach the property safely.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Min the host was very hospitable and went out of his way to organise intercity transfer. Fantastic recommendations to local culture activities. The acommodation was an excellent venue and very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the entire place. It was my first time staying in a traditional Hanok. As I was staying alone, it was a little pricey, but if you come in a pair or with a group of friends, it is definitely a very affordable Hanok stay. The location was superb as well, as the main tourist streets are just 10 minutes walk away.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was small but enough for 2 people with luggages. We had a private bathroom which was following korean standards (wet room with shower and toilet). The bed was really comfortable. The staff was really friendly, they even helped us calling a taxi because we were running late for our bus (we overslept). You can also have breakfast there and there is free icecream! Location is great, 10min walk to the hanok village so it's quiet. There are some restaurants and cafes in the area. Also it's great to go walking to the night market!
Cons: Nothing

9.1 Excellent (304 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at 1% Hostel in Jeonju, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Jeondong Catholic Church and Jeonju Hanok Living Experience Center. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms - comfy beds. Great location.
Cons: Food/drink was not available at the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The man at the front desk was really helpful and kind. Definitely great value for money. Very close from Jeonju Hanok Village
Cons: A bit hard to find, but besides nothing else to say
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very good motel, located near the historic center and the lively Gosa-dong area. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean room, comfortable bedding (I booked an individual double room). Many bus stations nearby to get around. spotless to spend 2 or 3 nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really great, always ready to help. The free upgrade from an 8-bed dorm to a 4-bed dorm helped
Cons: Some curtains on the windows would definitely help. Also have some lockers in the dorms. Other Than this, everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Owner is very Nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I think most tourists would want to stay at a hanok when in Jeonju, since that's one of the famous experiences the city boasts of. Staying in one, though, isn't that affordable, especially for solo travelers. 1% Hostel is one of the more modern accommodations in Jeonju. The location is pretty close to the hanok village. You'll pass by shops and cafes on the way, which provides a good option if you want to escape the hectic shops in the village itself. The room I got was clean, comfy and pretty spacious. The staff was accommodating and helpful, too.
Cons: The shower cubicles only had shower curtains to cover each cubicle. It wouldn't be a problem if it's designated as female-only or male-only. However, I think it was meant to be shared, so I think that would be troubling. Luckily for me, there were not that many occupants during my stay there so I had the toilet/shower room to myself whenever I needed to use one or both.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The shower stank of mold and sewer and made the whole room smell like that. The furniture was full of dust and the towels were very old.
Hanok Hyeyum - Jeonju - Building

9.2 Excellent (117 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hanok Hyeyum, you'll be centrally located in Jeonju, steps from Hagindang House and within a 10-minute walk of Gyeonggijeon. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place was very cosy and had a great location. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Would definetely book this place again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very nice. It was great that we could change the temperature my ourselves. We also enjoyed the free water and face masks. Thank you!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is very clean and the owners, Brian and Lim are super nice. The house is newly renovated. Well-worth staying.
Cons: We think if the sound proofing had been better, we would have enjoyed the sleep more. Instead of paper cups, glasses or cups should be provided for morning coffee or tea. One of our friends hopes that the pillow can be a bit higher for greater comfort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. Very beautiful place to stay.
Cons: It was overall good. Just know that a futon is not very confortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: The Hanok is very nice, it is in the middle of the Hanok Village in Jeonju so you can go walking everywhere.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is right smack in the middle of the whole Hanok village, close proximity to tourist spots. Also the owner and caretaker are both nice, they even helped us to call a taxi going to the bus terminal. The room is spotlessly clean, a/c and floor heater worked well. They also have free water, coffee and even face masks in the fridge!
Cons: Their traditional Korean mattress is too thin for our liking :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hanok is located perfectly in Jeonju - inside the hanok village, but not in the middle of the buzzle. It is also close to the beautiful river, that invites for walks. The hosts were lovely and extremely caring. We did not expect a breakfast, but were given fruit and bread plus coffee. The garden is beautiful. The hanok is close to plenty of restaurants, and a short walk to all the sightseeing highlights of Jeonju.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Authentic Korean Hanok stay but walls are little thin. I was able to hear my neighbors.
Cons: Thin walls and bedding was little thin.
7.0 Good
Pros: A really beautiful garden and good location. Very warm floor.
Cons: The room was not suitable for those with small children.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Happiness Full Guesthouse in Jeonju, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Jeonju Hanok Village and Gangam Calligraphy Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The friendly host lady knows only a few words English, but communicates perfectly and is very helpful. >My room was a typical traditional Korean Hanok room, very small and simple and with a hard futon "bed", but with a modern toilet in the tiny bathroom..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cute little place, good location. Owner has minimal English but went out of her way to help us feel at home and find everything we needed. The place is impeccably clean and felt safe.
Cons: This was our first (and only) stay in a traditional Korean style room. The only negative thing I have to say is about the level of comfort that provides. I read this entailed “futon mattresses” that you roll out, which is fine by me. I’ve slept on a futon for years. That seemed to be a bit of an overstatement. The mattress in question is roughly the thickness of a nice bath towel folded twice. The pillow was a bag of rice, in a case. I’ve had better padding when I go camping in the woods. As far as I can tell, this is typical for the style of room this was, not any skimping on this particular place’s part. Just be clear on what you’re getting.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and cosy !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a really nice guest house, although the host lady cannot speak English, but she was trying the best to help me out during my stay. It’s only about 10-15 mins drive after getting off the express bus terminal to the guesthouse. It’s located just in the Hanok village, and it’s quiet and convenient for me to travel around in the village. The village is really beautiful in autumn, which is full with golden and red leaves! The room is small but comfortable, the floor is warm and really can let you fall asleep in a few seconds! Last but not least, because I have to travel back to Cheonan on Sunday, but during the peak tourism season, the bus ticket nearly sold out at that morning and foreigners cannot buy the ticket in the app without Korean local card, the daughter of the host was really friendly to reserve the last ticket for me and even took me to the bus terminal to enter the card details and get the ticket for me ^_^ In a word, it’s worthy to stay!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a very clean and comfortable traditional house. The 이모 (aunt) or host of the house make me feel homely..
Cons: Probably the mattress is too thin but it was fine
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the experience, it was a very nice cozy house. The host was also very friendly and tried her best to help you. I saw some reviews who said the room was on small size but in my opinion it's a great space. The location is also good. A little bit confusing to find tho.
Cons: If you have some problems with your back it may not be the best option to sleep on the ground.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and all beds very comfortable
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hostel was very clean and modern. Card entry system and a very comfortable feel. Great location for the Hanok Village and dining options. A quiet hostel.
Cons: The blinds on the beds are quite loud but they do afford ample privacy. The men's bathroom has only one toilet but there was never a line. The bathroom does however need some hanging hooks or flat space to rest toiletries, towel, clothes on while not in the shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location to explore Jeonju and Naejangsan national park / well equipped dorm with individual reading light, power plugs, storage under the bed even for my huge 120l duffel and privacy curtain / well equipped bathroom and kitchen / absolutely wonderful staff (I've been sent on a foodie tour with lots of brilliant recommendations, thanks! ) / great value / would definitely stay again
Cons: N/a
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice comfy hostel at a reasonable price. The owner was really nice and helped me out with many things, which was great! Location is good: near the Hanok village as well as a major shopping area.
Cons: The showers took really long to get warm and the bedding didn't feel entirely clean.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location in middle of hanok village, authentic Korean breakfast
Cons: Make sure that you have enough cash as they dont take credit card payment and very difficult to find atm in Jeonju that takes foreign card
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful by providing an early check-in as well as taxi arrangements upon departure. Upon room assignment, the staff provided flexibility for room change if we are not comfortable with it. The room and futon bed are comfy and well heated. Location is excellent!
Cons: Probably breakfast could be earlier as we missed it for our early departure at 8AM.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host and very delicious Korean breakfast. Very clean rooms and located within the Hanok Village. Floor heating was really hot. Shampoo and body bath provided.
Cons: Toilet was freezing cold in winter, and there are no bath towels, just face towels. At least the host helped to point us to a place that sells bath towels. I find the tatami rather thin and could feel the floor but my family didn’t have a problem with it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great and the hosts are very friendly. The breakfast of homemade Korean food is amazing. The hosts treated us like family. They even got us some fried eggs for my younger child for breakfast (thinking he may not like the Korean spread). they were wrong . We all enjoyed the food a lot. The place is a little small but very charming.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was located in a convenient place where taxis can drop and pick up right at the door step. The hosts was friendly and assisted us with calling a taxi to where we needed to go. The place offered free Korean breakfast every morning which was deliciously prepared and allowed us to experience the Korean culture and good home cooked meal. The place felt homely and warm. Thank you to the hosts for making the stay memorable and wonderful.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: - we had some delay and there were no issues with the check-in - friendly service - beautiful hanok
Cons: - breakfast could have been Korean food, it was just toast and peanut butter, jam but better than nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for your money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good ! Check in was easy. The location provided a phone and we just had to call the host and she told us how to check in. Really easy ! The room was a good size and it was already heated so it was nice and warm when we arrived ! It is located inside the Jeonju Hanok Village, so it was really easy to get to and from things ! The host was really nice and made sure we felt comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come to Jeonju again !
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was very good. The owner was very friendly and gave recommendations on places to go and restaurants to eat at. She also replied to text messages quickly and made sure the temperature in the room was comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was below expectations as I thought there would be a place to sit down to eat. Instead, it was just a table with some bread and spreads. It tasted good but was a bit of a surprise.

Pros: It's really traditional and cosy. The breakfast is simple, but good. The host is really nice and gave us some good tips to enjoy the village. Just keep in mind that you will sleep on the floor, so it isn't as idyllic as you might imagine.

Cons: Just one thing, the room was way too hot even tho we turned off the heating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the place and the atmosphere surrounding. Its really close to touristy area, lots of food, nice cafe. And for breakfast, its so simple and we really love the apple, taste superb delicious. Really recommended and will come back at this place again when we visit jeonju
Cons: -
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staying in a traditional hanok..great area and lots to explore. Mainly an area with Korean visitors which is great. Room had underfloor heating and comfy bed (hopefully I set the 4 components up right :)) and a small shower/toilet combo. There was a TV with a lot of channels..a list of channels and explanation how what seemed like paid channels worked may have been helpful though. There are a lot of guesthouses in the Hanok Village and although this one is near a busystreet I didn't notice noise at night. I had an issue with trains...owner was very kind in accommodating this. Doors were locked with a combination padlock. Photos are of lock, corner of building where my room was, building from downstairs where rooms are, room. Breakfast was basic: coffee or tea, milk, juice, sliced banana, tomato, Apple, toast, yoghurt. Quite adequate for a light breakfast in an area teaming with food outlets and choices.
Cons: The owner was lovely but didn't crack a smile once while I was there. There is a cafe upstairs so there can be a little bit of noise. People next door to me got back to their room quite late and were noisy and had showers at midnight which is no fault of the owner's..my first nights sleep was great though. I booked a family room even though I was by myself but still paid the same for what appeared to.be a single room. If you booked locally you may get a better price than via booking.com
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable experience staying at Laon Hanok Gguljam. Prime location! We came early and the owner allowed us to leave our bags to explore until check in time as well as leaving our bags after check out. The breakfast was simple and delicious, went back for more of his apple jam (not sure if it was homemade but it was very good). Thank you for sharing your home with us!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The authenticity The home owner is extremely friendly and even came at 11 pm to get us a mattress as we had only one.
Cons: We unfortunately had bed bugs...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hanok stay with very friendly host. Highly recommend!

Pros: Cosy and comfortable with good location. Host is very helpful with useful info where to go and what to eat :)
Cons: The heated floor was a bit too hot during the night, but can’t turn it off. If this can be fixed, it would have been perfect.

Pros: Good location, inside Jeonju Hanok Village, the lady boss also very helpful!
Cons: the tatami bed, maybe can consider thicker tatami bed.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: there have no sound proof wall. you can hear conversation so clear from the room next door.

She drew on a map where all the must visit places were and made sure our stay was comfortable. The location is right in Hanok Village, we were able to walk everywhere, it is a short taxi ride from the train station.
7.9 Good
Pros: Overall is good. The services is very good. The host even help us to book a taxi to the station, and also still preparing a bfast for us though we’re leaving in the early morning...
Cons: The toilet arrangement... shower is too close with the clothes hanger and other tools that can make overall toilet is wet. There is no separation for it

Pros: The owner was really nice, breakfast was simple but good. The house itself is really quaint
Cons: Walls are pretty thin so you can definitely hear other guests talking at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - Located right in the center of the hanok village - The host provided a toastie and a drink for breakfast. The host was also quite helpful in recommending restaurants and places to go. Every restaurant she recommended was wonderful. - Despite needing a bit of a discussion, a second sleep mat/bedding was provided--I would not have been able to sleep on just one although I understood that sleeping on the floor is part of the hanok experience. - The toilet and shower were clean - At the end the host helped to get me a taxi which is much appreciated
Cons: - bit of a small room, but ok for 1 - some sewage smell in front of the room (as there is a sewer outside) at odd times but not all times
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very helpful and friendly. I left my bag in the taxi and she was empathetic and helped me to contact the driver. She even walked us to find him again and helped to call a taxi again for us the next day. I really appreciate her kindness :-) Room is also very clean and well-maintained. Love the heated floors! She also provided breakfast and water / coffee / tea.
Cons: Might be a little cramped for two luggage but it's manageable

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice! Also loved the coffee machine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean, comfortable place to stay.
Cons: The place is the easiest to locate, especially when you are new to the area.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lots of little extras, bathroom was nice but no spa bath Free premium coffee and popcorn in foyer Breakfast included although limited options and only served in room Staff didn’t speak English but made lots of effort with google translate and very helpful
Cons: No spa or hot tub as stated on facilities by booking.com I think it was more a translation error, but at end of day It said there was a hot tub and after a long day travelling that is what I wanted not a shower.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Hotel reception is small. Breakfast is cooked by two ladies in the morning in front of reception and deliver to my room. We couldn't wait and grab the BKF from the tiny lobby with coffee from their coffee machine. Didn't like there are noisy night clubs nearby. We stayed just one night on our way so it is a clean, simple boutique hotel. If you have no car, not recommended.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice looking room.
Cons: Breakfast for two - one coffe and one juice! Bathtub has drainage directly to the floors. Flood all over. No closet. Nowhere to put suitcase. When we left the room, they opened our door and left it opened. With our stuff in the room.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff and modern decor.
Cons: Far away from tourist attractions, too hot a night, no room temperature control and very clear bathroom (and romance) sounds from other rooms. Staff didn't answer calls to front desk about temperature or noise. A fancy brothel.

Pros: The staff was exceptional, she took her time to explain to me all the sightseeing opportunities in jeonju and helped out with all my asks. Really recommend this place for a truly authentic korean hanok stay. The house itself was cute too. Made my korean trip, really.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a particularly good time at the Nearest Guesthouse. The common area is cosy (foot sauna ! big couch ! cute accessories !) and the staff is very nice (and english speaking). Breakfast is definitely more complete than other guesthouses i've been to. The beds have heating pads. I made the right choice going there as it made my stay in Jeonju — a city I already appreciate very much — even better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Mr. Lim give us everything. Super comfortable bed with bed heater, so useful for winter so i can sleep well. Everthing i the common area, the breakfast with all beautiful equipment. The sitting area where you can enjoy reading books, playing game or even playing guitar like i did (sorry Mr. Lim i touch your guitar). The owner has a great sense of decor thats why this hostel looks so artsy. And this building also has historical meaning as witness of kindness in the past. Thanks for the owner whos very welcome person.
Cons: Almost nothing! Only suggestion for the future maybe you can add some curtain in every dorm bed so the guest more comfortable with privacy

Cons: Beds are pretty hard

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but still within walking distance to the busy downtown area (Hanok Village, etc). The owner was very friendly and was kind enough to help me plan out my activities. The free breakfast was quite good!
Cons: Everything was fine!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was great and the place was very clean. The location was very close to the Hanok village area, walking distance to everything. If you are getting a taxi from the bus or train station, make sure you have the address in Korean as the taxi drivers won't take you, even if you show them the location on a map.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient as it's near the hanok village and only a short taxi ride to the intercity bus station. The owner was also very helpful - he suggested us few restaurants and we went to one place that actually ended up being our favourite restaurant in Jeonju.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: One of the beds was a bit wonky on one side.

4.2 Okay
Pros: An authentic experience living in a hanok with traditional korean breakfast. It’s a 3 min walk away from the Hanok village so it’s very convenient, and away from the noise at the same time. They’ll place a flag from your country at the front door which made us feel welcomed. There’s a bookmark given to us which we can write anything and the owner will mail it, making a nice souvenir. The bookmarks were yellowish tho o.O
Cons: Owner was hardly responsive and contactable at all. No instructions given to us on how to check in, and we spent 15min wandering around inside finding where was the reception at(there was none). Even had to attempt knocking at other guest’s doors as we had no clue how to find the owner. Only shampoo and toothpaste was given to us, no body soap or conditioner. The design of the toilet was strange. Toilet was very dimly lit at the shower area as there’s only 1 light above the sink. The toilet paper was also not within easy reach from the toilet bowl. A bar soap was given, but was used by others before, gross. Sink area was extremely tiny. No idea why the toilet door was so small so we had to crouch down and crawl in, very inconvenient albeit a new experience. Room was tiny as well and there was barely any space left after laying down the mats and luggage. Main door was CREAKY. Breakfast was the exact same thing for the past 2 days.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is my second time in this hanok. Last time I came alone 3 years ago. And this time I come with friends. My friends are satisfied with the hanok. Breakfast was very delicious. The host was very nice and gave us a beautiful postcard.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, enjoyed my one night stay at Yang Sa Jae. Great location within the Hanok village.
Cons: There are amenities that are not inside the room such as water so you will have to personally ask the hosts.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a nice experience to sleep in a Hanok and eat the traditional breakfast. The room was clean and nice.
Cons: The Host does not speak english and made us feel uncomfortable. She was not really friendly because we couldn’t understand Korean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: House style!

7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, friendly host, really traditional stay
Cons: 4 walls and a toilet, no other facilities (tv, kettle etc). Floor sleeping is hard so a bit sore for the back. Could hear everything incl the man snoring next door
