the peace and quiet
A great hotel with a really nice feel to it.
The Hotel is well placed for walking, the staff are friendly, food excellent, public rooms comfortable and well decorated.
We were completely satisfied with our stay
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food.
We were most impressed by the facilities provided in the bedroom, the bathroom was particularly good as it had recently been refurbished.
super location, wonderful scenery, bubbling stream, nice and quiet, the pub at the back had lovely food, the rabbits playing on the lawn as we went to breakfast!
As I had brought 4 overseas guests, they would have much preferred to have a buffet choice for breakfast, rather than having to choose from a menu where they were not familiar with the items offered. We asked for some cheese for the toast, but were told that the hotel had no cheese, which I found hard to believe.
beautiful gardens, surprisingly clean and modern room and very quiet as you are unable to hear anybody in the other rooms. great public bar for very good meals.very child friendly for our 7 month old abby.
evening meal: small servings for an extortionate price.
The excellent location, peaceful and tranquil.
The full English breakfast was only average for the quality of hotel, not enough food and the cost of drinks was slightly high. Fortunately there was a public bar belonging to the Hotel nearby where prices were more reasonable.
The staff and location were excellent
The shower in bath-room was difficult to regulate.
