The room and location were wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Disappointed in the cafe.
The front desk agent was so kind. He gave me a king bed and a balcony for no extra charge. I was so surprised at how beautiful the room was. I had everything I needed, and more. The balcony view was gorgeous. We ordered room service three separate times and every time the person delivering food was so incredibly kind, accommodating and understanding. The food was always exceptional. The wine was exceptional. The breakfast was so yummy, and it was cool how you could order the night before and they will bring it whenever you want. Took care of everything and I am so happy to have stayed there. Wish it could have been longer ! Didn't even take advantage of the spa amenities but that's always a good option if you're not busy.
The private balcony where I could read my Bible and pray. The only drawback was that I kept wanting to look out at the view.
It's not your fault, but we had difficulty breathing at such an altitude. ; )
My boyfriend and I live a few hours away and needed a getaway for a night. I made reservations easily online. From the valet who greeted us, to the front desk, to the lovely spacious room and the amazing location we had a beautiful time. We especially enjoyed the free shuttle service that took us into town and was there when we were ready to be picked up and the hot tub- the grounds and scenery were lovely! We will be back to stay again, hopefully soon!
Mattie the mgr was very helpful always smiling and made sure we were happy guests. She is great at her job!!
great property, no need to drive to town, beautiful views
new pizza place was not organized, decent food, but lots wrong.
Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in the last 10 years, the staff at this hotel was the most friendly and helpful of them all. Every request was met with genuine kindness and enthusiasm!
The location of the resort is not within walking distance of anything else, but the shuttle service to and from the ski area is phenomenal.
Location was good. But I'd rather come in summer.
Some rooms are too far from front desk. No after hours snack bar like the usual commercial hotels. Small lobby. Free (self) parking is not close. Staff aren't particularly attentive to your needs. Hallways get cold at night. If you need to switch a room during your stay (from 1 king to 2 queen for example), good luck with that, even though they do have empty rooms. Excellent place if you have kids, but not a good place to stay if you're going to relax for a few days; this is truly a resort for younger people or families with kids who want to sky and run around. Don't be surprised to run into swarms of teenagers and college kids. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing place with adult (non-kiddie) amenities, go to Aspen or some place else.
The hotel was not worth the price, the location was not close to the lift and the parking situation was awful. The staff was not helpful. The layout of the hotel was inconvienient. I will not ever stay here again. The title "spa" is a strech.... I felt it was comparable to La Quinta- except it was twice as expensive.
The friendliness of staff was the first we noticed, made for a great first impression. Checking in we were treated as 1st class people and just made the experience that more enjoyable
It was what I expected. The room was nice. Closet space was a little tight. The weather was cold and rainy which was the biggest negative.
I didn't like to have to park across the highway but there is not much that can be done about that.
