we stayed in one of the cottages. Due to a conference we had restricted access to dining room and bar but we were more than happy with the self-catering accommodation. Standard of self-catering accommodation was excellent. Since we had little to do with hotel and staff we are unable to make any comment. The only adverse comment we would make is that we arrived after dark and the directions to our cottage were unclear, It was our first time at Moness Resort so we were unsure of the layout. Roads were not very well lit and although we were directed to cottage by a number, the cottage itself had no number but a name
The hotel accommodation was good. The restaurant was not good - a horrible room and food not good either.
Friendly welcoming staff; warm, comfortable room; very tasty breakfast; all this made our stay special.
Space and quality of accommodation Bar food service very slow
All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the overall peace and quiet at this time of year. One bedroom cottage lovely, huge comfy bed.
The setting and surrounding area. the bed was too short for anyone over 6 ft tall the apartments could do with upgrading and a deep clean.
The hotel is set in lovely grounds. The bedroom was well decorated, with a great bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The resort was also quiet, not rowdy or noisy, good for kids There was a requirment for some additional parking facilities
We stayed in a self-catering cottage which was very well appointed. We sampled a bar meal; a carry-out; and a dinner in the restaurant. All were very nice indeed. All in all Moness is a lovely complex made all the better by its proximity to "The Birks of Aberfeldy" which is a wonderful country walking area. Even although we did not get the best of weather we could not really make a valid criticism.
Very nice ,clean and very friendly staff. The young man (Austrailian i think) was excellent. His manners were impecable and he was available all through service. My wife's rissotto was dreadful (soggy) tasteless, she's not a picky eater but she couldn't eat her meal. However my food was delicious. The TV in the lounge in our room wouln't work and the wall fixed TV was very tempermental. I phoned down for help but the male receptionist said he didn't know what the problem could be.Not helpful
Warm fire, staff, price of room and in the hotel Cobwebs in room, food very nice but one dish a bit burnt
That you could eat dinner there The curtains let the sun in early in the morning, waking us up
Location and food were both excellent.
Friendly, efficient staff and the food was excellent.
Lovely hotel. No complaints. We decided to have our evening meal at the restaurant and we all thought the food was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
Good bathroom; very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good choice of food and thoughtful welcoming staff. Room a bit dark with only a slanted view past roofs.
Price - only £35 per night for two people. Food - great selection and great quality. First night the hotel seemed understaffed. An Australian staff member seemed rushed off her feet and as a result looked pretty stressed.
A lovely hotel with beautiful views. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and the breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful location, very cool little inn right by Loch Tay. Good fod too. I would highly recommend this hotel. None
very clean, welcoming, facilities very good for families and will certainly stay again in the future. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Bye for now, Sheila J. Preston.
