The setting and surrounding area. the bed was too short for anyone over 6 ft tall the apartments could do with upgrading and a deep clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The resort was also quiet, not rowdy or noisy, good for kids There was a requirment for some additional parking facilities
The hotel accommodation was good. The restaurant was not good - a horrible room and food not good either.
we stayed in one of the cottages. Due to a conference we had restricted access to dining room and bar but we were more than happy with the self-catering accommodation. Standard of self-catering accommodation was excellent. Since we had little to do with hotel and staff we are unable to make any comment. The only adverse comment we would make is that we arrived after dark and the directions to our cottage were unclear, It was our first time at Moness Resort so we were unsure of the layout. Roads were not very well lit and although we were directed to cottage by a number, the cottage itself had no number but a name
The hotel is set in lovely grounds. The bedroom was well decorated, with a great bathroom.
Very nice ,clean and very friendly staff. The young man (Austrailian i think) was excellent. His manners were impecable and he was available all through service. My wife's rissotto was dreadful (soggy) tasteless, she's not a picky eater but she couldn't eat her meal. However my food was delicious. The TV in the lounge in our room wouln't work and the wall fixed TV was very tempermental. I phoned down for help but the male receptionist said he didn't know what the problem could be.Not helpful
We stayed in a self-catering cottage which was very well appointed. We sampled a bar meal; a carry-out; and a dinner in the restaurant. All were very nice indeed. All in all Moness is a lovely complex made all the better by its proximity to "The Birks of Aberfeldy" which is a wonderful country walking area. Even although we did not get the best of weather we could not really make a valid criticism.
All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the overall peace and quiet at this time of year. One bedroom cottage lovely, huge comfy bed.
Space and quality of accommodation Bar food service very slow
Friendly welcoming staff; warm, comfortable room; very tasty breakfast; all this made our stay special.
Fantastic cottage, everthing was taken care of , spacious and well laid out, every facility required was there, stunning views from the balcony, perfect for a relaxed and confortable stay, would highly recommend Nothing
Location - fantastic setting - pool - cottage was well equipped and cosy On site restaurant closed for upgrading works - was not advised - however this was not really a problem as ate in the Courtyard Restaurant over the road which was first class.
Scenery and very well maintained grounds No
The accommodation facilities were great.
Clean modern acomodtion in a great location. Lots of activities nearby.
We arrived late due to transportation issues and did not get to enjoy many of the facilities; however our cabin was clean, comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool.
The girl was very efficent on reception when we arrived, the cottage was clean and warm, well equipped and comfortable
I dont have any bad points, the only thing that we had a problem with was the pillows, and this was the same for Number 45 who stayed the same amount of nights as we did, the pillows were not comfy, that is all. None, just the pillows were uncomfortable.
Our stay at Kenmore Club was fantastic - lots of snow, great fun sledging. Nice big cupboard to put all wet gear! Lovely scenery..
The accommodation was fantastic The staff were terrible
The bar and bar food was amazing I would recommend the relaxing friendly atmosphere to anyone. and the rooms are well presented and have a great scottish feel.and on leaving as we had missed breakfast we where offered rolls on bacon before we left for our drive back to glasgow....great touch The only semi bad point is the restaurant as no one told us you have to book to eat in it and the service in it was poor.
Full of history, nice things to look at. Freezing cold bathroom
comfortable residents lounge with open fire room decor old fashioned - required upgrading (room 101)
Lovely location, lovely hotel, wonderful food and very friendly staff.
Fantastic location for Blair Castle, and outdoor pursuits. Friendly staff and good pub grub on the premises.
Hotel located just near Blair Castle which was the reason of our journey to Atholl Blair. A very pretty room but really too small !
Homely atmosphere, warm and welcoming environment. Only disappointment was that there was no restaurant dining on either of the evenings we were there, (15th and 16th) as it was fully booked for a Christmas event on 16th.We had a restaurant meal in an alterative room on 15th which lacked ambiance, and on 16th which was my wife's birthday and the reason for our visit we had to take a bar meal as no other meal was available. It would have been helpful to know the restaurant would be unavailable prior to coming so I could have booked a meal elsewhere.
We liked the cosy lounge with a real fire, the bar had atmosphere and was nice and busy. We all enjoyed are stay and would book again. The lovely big dining room was deserted at night, which was a shame because it put you off going in there to eat.
That you could eat dinner there The curtains let the sun in early in the morning, waking us up
Warm fire, staff, price of room and in the hotel Cobwebs in room, food very nice but one dish a bit burnt
Price - only £35 per night for two people. Food - great selection and great quality. First night the hotel seemed understaffed. An Australian staff member seemed rushed off her feet and as a result looked pretty stressed.
A lovely hotel with beautiful views. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and the breakfast was excellent.
Good bathroom; very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good choice of food and thoughtful welcoming staff. Room a bit dark with only a slanted view past roofs.
Location and food were both excellent.
Beautiful location, very cool little inn right by Loch Tay. Good fod too. I would highly recommend this hotel. None
Friendly, efficient staff and the food was excellent.
very clean, welcoming, facilities very good for families and will certainly stay again in the future. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Bye for now, Sheila J. Preston.
Lovely hotel. No complaints. We decided to have our evening meal at the restaurant and we all thought the food was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
