Pros: We had an awesome time. Staff were wonderful even when we had an issue with our room they fixed it quickly and accommodated our needs. The breakfast was good and the hotel location was beautiful. I enjoyed every bit of our stay especially since there were 11 of us. It was great .
Pros: It is located next to the water with a park, walking, and biking trails it is a lovely location for families. The breakfast is good with a variety of choices.
Cons: It is next to Oakland International Airport. You hear when the planes take off.
Pros: The fact that it has a wonderful breakfast and is close to the Bay Breeze race area.
Cons: The front desk employees were not as friendly as previous visits and the room was not as clean and fresh smelling as previous visits. This was our 3rd stay in this hotel and when we mentioned this the fellow at the front desk just said," oh."
Pros: The weather
Cons: That I can't use a prepaid master debit card to pay for hotel.
Cons: A bit dated
The 130 room property provides accommodations to suit all your needs. All rooms are Non-smoking. The hotel provides rooms with balconies to oversee the spectacular view of the marina. The hotel has an outdoor pool and spa. There is a fitness center, and also running trail along the marina. The hotel also has a business center and provides a complimentary deluxe breakfast.
Pros: I liked the views of the water. The gym was cool. Staff was great. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were spacious. Bathroom was lovely. Parking was easy.
Cons: There was a very weird smell to the rooms. I went into my first room and asked to be moved and then upon entrance into second room on opposite side I realized they all smell lol. Weird we paid more for the best western over the executive suites their sister property but the sister property actually had the pool and hot tub and bar so had to walk over there. Still very close though. Someone had left a jacket in the closet and I guess the maids missed it. Pricey.
Pros: convenient location to business in Berkeley and Oakland areas and easy on/off I-880 to get to airport. Staff was friendly. Large rooms and baths. Nice amenities.
Cons: Gritty neighborhood that is trying to transition to be more upscale but it is hard to navigate, there's a lot of trash around and in the water. My room's view was of a forlorn half-sunk sailboat and a wall of graffiti.
Cons: Police take over the lobby area. Breakfast could be better organized.

Pros: The best beds ever! Always clean and comfortable.
Pros: Great location for Raiders fans. airport shuttle. Great staff
Pros: We always get king suites with Hampton Inn, and have yet to be disappointed. This particular suite seemed a little bigger than average. Perhaps it was the floor plan.
Pros: Quick check in.
Clean and spacious rooms.
Pros: Loved the location. Felt safe, close to airport, and also close to the bay.
Cons: The roads around were a little confusing.

Cons: When we checked in room wasn't ready but they did have an upgrade queen to king for $35 per night more. They charge $30 per day to park. If you want to take a guest to the pool they charge $30 per day per person. All the up charges made it rather expensive. The Meritage restaurant was not open. Only place to eat was small and not very good. It is an OLD hotel built in 1918 but upgraded. Rooms are small. The elevator permit was 6 months overdue.
Pros: Loved the look of the place from the outside..altho you quickly feel like an inconvenience being shuffled out of the way. The hotel is rich with history and has very nice decor..the room was big, with a big bathroom.
Cons: The trexk to the room was ridiculous, having to take two elevators and very long walks on different levels while carrying your things. The room floor needed vacuumed, you could feel stuff on the carpet. After we checked in, we left to go get dinner and you can't get out of the gate without a special card given at the front desk. Well guess what- oh, and it cost $30 for this parking privilege.
Pros: Wonderful location. Grand old building which has been well maintained. It had been some years since I last stayed there and the place seemed in better shape than it was.
Pros: Our oasis on the hill! The Claremont is a special place and I return there whenever I can; the location is central yet private and the staff is friendly, attentive, helpful and genuine. Each staff member, from the housekeeping staff to the manager, smiles and greets guests and is not only ready, but willing, to make your stay enjoyable. When there was an issue at check-in with the room assigned. Frank Flynn quickly and apologetically gave us another room with no question. In chatting with Fracesco (I'm sure I have not spelled his name correctly-my apologies!) in the lobby, we told him we were headed into the city the next day; he not only cautioned us about traffic and crowds in the Golden Gate Park area due to a concert, he recommended alternative areas to visit-and when he saw us a couple of days later, he asked how our trip went! A special shout-out also to Mohammad and Zachary who took care of us for breakfast in the Meritage restaurant-their service standards and guest treatment should be the envy of fine dining establishments everywhere. They made the start of our days happy and pleasant and really made an impact of the pleasure of staying at the Claremont!
Cons: The charm of an old beauty like the Claremont is also sometimes what makes you miss some things you might find in a newer hotel; the HVAC system can be unreliable and loud, the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, etc. But having noted that, the graciousness of the wide hallways and high ceilings easily make you overlook those modern facility differences!
Pros: The look of the hotel
Cons: The check in staff
Pros: Location - close to everything including freeways. Facilities were excellent -- pool, exercise room, etc.
Cons: They treated me like a second class citizen because I booked not directly through them. Promised me a fridge and I had to find a facilities guy who didn't talk to the front desk to get one. Told me there was a free breakfast buffet, but then it wasn't free.
Pros: Stay was great wished new more about it before we got there to enjoy the facilities
Cons: Food prices were a little high
Pros: The Sunday buffet at the Meritage was very good. The lap swimming in the pools and 3 free hours of childcare included in the resort fee was also very nice and an unexpected bonus.
Cons: Ridiculously overpriced for what it was. $26 resort fee and $30 valet fee on top of over $200/night for a tiny old room that wouldn't even pass muster at a Best Western? The room was awful - outdated, small, old, musty and generally uncomfortable. Noisy from the hallway, the bed was saggy, the comforter stained and 2 adults plus a baby in a crib were way too many to fit in a tiny standard room.
Pros: Staff was very good. Room service excellent and the pools were great.
Cons: I asked for a taxi to take me to SFO. Instead of a taxi, they had reserved a sedan which was more expensive than a taxi. I thought it was a little bit cheesy. I'm sure that some people want to drive to the airport in a fancier car but they should specify. I asked for a taxi, not a town car.
Pros: Nice pool, spa and exercise facilities. My kids had a blast at the pool - it was nicely heated and they enjoyed it despite the cooler February weather.
Cons: Our room was below one of the hotel's restaurants. 6am on a sunday morning and isn't a great time to be woken up to the sounds of tables and chairs being moved. It's an old hotel so it's pretty loud.
When I checked out they gave me a bit of a discount and said that when we checked in that the front desk should have warned us that our room was loud... they really just shouldn't rent out the rooms or if they do charge less.... but they'd rather put guests in a position where they have to complain to get a discount.
Even with the discount if was an expensive weekend that wasn't as restful as you'd expect for the money.

Cons: Room was extremely small compared the price if the room.
Pros: I like the fact that the hotel was closed to everything that we needed from restaurants, bars and drugstores. The hotel staff were very friendly from the valet attendant to the front desk. Our flight got delayed and they were able to accommodate our check-in time.
Cons: We understand that parking is an issued around the city but we thought it was expensive for the hotel to charge $45 for valet parking and there are a lot of homeless people walking around. I wouldn't walk around the city by yourself at night.
Pros: Es war sauber.
Cons: Der Preis war unverschämt. Die Lage so lala und eher laut.
Parken und Frühstück teuer.
Cons: The valet parking service was too expensive and too slow.

Pros: It's been years since I've stayed at Jack London Square. It's definitely gone up a step. Waterfront Hotel is an easy access location - both for driving and the train. Great restaurants both right in the Square and a short stroll away. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet even with all the events during our stay.
Cons: The ONLY drawback was the hallway maze to our room. If we just followed the numbers we eventually got there...but no two paths were the same. Our coffee maker was broken but they delivered hot coffee to us immediately on request. The TV was also out but the cable was replaced while we were out for dinner. Perfect service.
Pros: The only thing we liked is its location, right next to Jack London Square.
Cons: The bathroom is tiny and outdated. no tub for my children. Advertised "city view" was actually view of the back alley/parking lot. $25 valet parking was mandatory, no self parking. not going to recommend or stay there again.
Pros: The location is nice, good restaurants within walking distance in the area. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the wine & cheese hour was a nice touch. Everything was great with the exception of the thin walls, which unfortunately makes it a deal breaker for me.
Cons: The room was incredibly dirty and the beds uncomfortable. To be specific there was an unflushed toilet with something not so pleasant upon our arrival into our room. Completely unacceptable. The television did not work either. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
Pros: Clean rooms, close to downtown Oakland, waterfront views.
Cons: Thin walls and ceiling, could hear everything our upstairs neighbors were saying and doing, including peeing into the toilet! We were placed in a weird room right off the lobby and could hear people arriving and checking in. Was not worth the money we paid.
Pros: Balcony, view, color, staff, proximity to office.
Cons: told it'd be $20 for valet, but valet told me $25. I was charged $20. train sucked.
Celebrating the spirit of Jack London Square, Waterfront Hotel blends festive, nautical décor with the unique atmosphere of the Oakland waterfront. Experience Oakland, Brooklyn by the Bay.
Cons: Reception and bar service awful. Card keys did not work. A/C stopped working. Small, crowded lobby. Shattuck area is not inviting.
Pros: I've stayed here several times over the last few years; I had a flawless, enjoyable experience each time. This last trip they even held some rather bulky packages / equipment which had arrived a week early for work, without question. The staff is always friendly, rooms are immaculately clean, and the location (right across Allston from the Downtown Berkeley BART, a block off Berkeley's campus, and close to several good dining experiences) is excellent.
Pros: Every staff member I encountered was smiling and went out of their way to say hello, open doors, offer to help, etc. Very impressive!
Pros: I really liked everything about this place. My room was very stylish, and it came with all the usual amenities. The room was smaller, so I'm not sure if I would be happy there if I had to share the space with someone else. I don't know if all the rooms are that size, or if I just got a small room because I was by myself. For just me, it was the perfect size. The AC works well, which I've come to learn isn't a given at many "upscale" hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is right in the center of everything in Berkeley, so there are plenty of restaurants, drugstores, cafes, etc. within walking distance. It is conveniently located next to the downtown Berkeley BART station. I didn't have a car, so I didn't need to deal with parking, but I imagine it's not easy or cheap. The restaurant has really good food. There is plenty of seating in the lobby/bar area to meet with people to discuss business or have a couple drinks. I just really liked it here.
Cons: They focus so much on helping each customer as much as possible, that several of us stood waiting at the check in desk for a really long time while one obnoxious customer waxed poetic about all the things he wanted to do while he was in Berkeley. They need to be more conscious of calling for help when a line starts to form.
Cons: Bar & restaurant were under renovation-- if I had known at time of booking I would have stayed somewhere else
Pros: Conveniently located in downtown Berkeley, across the street from the BART station and a couple blocks from the Cal campus. Some nice restaurants and bars nearby. Very nice accommodations and this was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. I never heard a single sound outside of my room.
Cons: Rooms are a bit small but still very nice and comfortable.
Pros: Location. Front desk service was horrible. Room Service was worst. Terrible food. Had a hair in it. Oatmeal was lumpy
Cons: Service was way off.
Pros: Clean and vast room, everything working as it should.
Pros: Since my son started attending Berkeley two years ago, I only stay at the Hotel Shattuck when visiting him. Thus far, I've stayed at there six times. I have NEVER been disappointed in the accommodations. Admittedly, some reviewers complain about the price. But, hey, considering the location, accommodations, staff, and amenities, I'm not going to complain.
Advanced Purchase Offer: Save when booking more than 21 days in advance. Book now to lock in your discount! Restrictions and deposit apply. Shattuck Date Night Package: Get away from it all and enjoy a special night with your special someone.
Cons: Not safe !!! Had to park down 2 blocks in parking garage !!! No hotel parking like listing said !!! No deals like we were PROMISED FROM KYACK !!! You could tell our ROOM WASNT CLEAN...THERE WERE USED TOWELS EVERYWHERE AND WHEN WE CALLED TO COMPLAIN ALL THEY SAID WAS HUH THATS STRANGE !!!! Lame not worth it if your looking to go to a show and dont want to worry about your stuff...THEN DONT STAY HERE !!!! I work at hotels and this was by far one of our worst experince !!!
Pros: I loved the room and the space in the room. When I walked through the hallway it smelled so good....awesome experience!
Pros: Staff was great took care of us and where on point which all the little details
Cons: Needed more shampoo and conditioner!!...fit under my boob

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with the room which they attempted to resolve immediately. It was also nice to have a decent size room with a separate sitting and sleeping area after having been in a room for about the same price across the bay that was a third the size.
It was also 2 blocks from the Fireside which is a bar that one of my friends opened. That was the only reason I was staying in Alameda at all ;-)
Cons: The pancakes were pretty lousy (Sam liked the waffles though). The air conditioning would not shut off in the room and we had to have someone come and fix it. They were super helpful though and offered us another room.

Pros: The room was clean the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. They suggested an amazing Mexican restaurant. They let me run back up to the room after we had checked out. I had left my favorite ring on the nightstand. It was also reasonably price. It was only an uber xl lift or BART ride away from San Francisco. Well located so we didn't have to spend $400 for a one hotel room for one night in San Francisco.
Cons: The beds were way too firm.
Pros: Restaurant was surprizingly good. Rooms excellent. We used the laundry, which was also good.
Pros: Reasonable price and easy access to the airport. Trendy areas are a 20 min uber ride away.
Pros: We liked that the hotel is close to the coliseum BART station and we like that you are also pretty close to a Walmart shopping center. We also liked that it was near the O.co Colisium and an Arena! It's a pretty nice hotel overall, except the street it is on is kinda sketch. Definitely not a street I would be on at midnight.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
fast, convenient shuttles
close to BART and OAK airport
Cons: The location of this hotel is worse than Kabul. Don't bring your children here. Spend $20 more and stay ANY place else. Ask for a room with no windows because you won't want to look outside.
Pros: Nice clean rooms but a good breakfast.
Cons: Very soft beds with little support.
Pros: The best part of this hotel was the daytime shuttle driver. Everything else fell below expectations. We had booked a room with two queen beds and got a King suite instead. The morning manager insisted that I had booked the King suite until I showed her my printed confirmation that showed two queen room. No apology from her, just that they were booked up and couldn't fix the problem. When I asked if the queen sofa bed was made up, she assured me it was. After a long day in San Francisco, we called for the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the Bart Station. The night manager was not helpful when we asked where to stand to wait--just that the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes. We waited 45 minutes and finally had to get a cab. When I asked the night manager where the shuttle was, he insisted that it was there and picked up two clients ( not us). He never said he was sorry about us having to pay for a cab. Then, the sofa bed had NOT been made up. Night manager brought up sheets and said that we would have to make up the bed ourselves because there was no one else to do it. Again, no apology. If you like paying over $200 a night for terrible customer service, this hotel is for you.
Cons: I wanted to cancel my reservation as soon as I knew it was not needed. However, the hotel and priceline refused to cancel the reservation and charged me the full amount even though I did not use the room.

Cons: I didn't like that I needed a separate ticket to get out.
Pros: Badly in need of refurbishing and more concern for patrons, but the place was completely full.
Pros: Good sheets, bed, pillows, breakfast was very good as well...business center was a life saver!

Pros: The neighborhood. Excellent restaurants, bars, shops in walking distance. Awesomely diverse.
Cons: Older hotel. Could use an update but still no problem. You are downtown so it is a little noisy and there are homeless people around. But....this is what Berkeley is so don't be surprised.
Pros: The room, facilities, and staff are great.
Cons: Breakfast could use some work. It was okay, considering there is no kitchen on site. But it wasn't even good catered hot food.

Pros: I appreciated the Sunday morning breakfast that including an extra room for seating. This hotel did a great job at welcoming families. Also, the front desk clerk upon my check out was very friendly.
Cons: I didn't like how there was only one front desk clerk during my check in when there was long line behind me. I had to wait for 20 minutes just to check in.
Pros: I liked it
Pros: I'm usually a Hilton / Holiday Inn person. Thought that this Comfort Inn would be a "downgrade". Was pleasantly surprised when I found it as good /better than my usuals. WiFi connection very Weil, nice room, comfortable bed etc. I'll try it again!
Pros: I liked how close it was
Cons: Walls were dirty. It smelled wired.
Pros: Fine for a two night stay.
Cons: Bathroom sink kept clogging, not so great area.

Cons: Your description of having rooms on the bay side or a 'view of the city' was very deceiving. The view of the city was a view of interstate 880, and was incredibly noisy since you're located right on the edge of the interstate. It was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in, and there was no way to get any sleep. The rugs were not clean, and the plumbing in the room was poor.
Cons: Pool area was too noisy our room was located right above it.
Pros: Great experience! Hotel was clean and well-kept. Rooms were very comfortable. Rooms facing the water were extremely quiet at night. A relief after staying at other hotels in Oakland with lots of street noise. Also a delight to look out at the water in the morning. Beds and desks were comfortable. Staff was generally very helpful.
Cons: A couple times staff were curt, seemed irritated at doing their jobs. Also, they changed their shuttle service to only pick up and drop off at four locations, instead of anywhere within a three mile radius. The shuttle was still extremely helpful, and this wasn't that big of a deal, but it should have been properly advertised on their website ahead of time.
Pros: The staff was pleasant and the shuttle service was a nice convenience.
Cons: Initial room assigned was already occupied. Hallways had an unpleasant odor. Building, rooms and furnishings all seemed in need of updating.
Pros: A safe spot in oakland
Pros: Staff was AMAZING. They bent over backwards to help me. They had free shuttle service to Downtown Oakland! Place was clean with delicious, free breakfast. Hands down, though, it was staff that made this place excellent!
Cons: Nothing. I will stay here again. Best hotel in Oakland!
Pros: EVERYTHING! The customer service was outstanding, the rooms were large and very clean. Awesome location (it's worth the extra $ to have a water view room). I liked that they offer a free shuttle to Jack London Square. Parking at this hotel is FREE (unlike some other hotels nearby). The pool and bar is really nice, too.
Cons: There wasn't anything I disliked about this hotel. I will definitely stay if I'm in the area again.
Pros: The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. The atmosphere felt comfortable and safe.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Pros: Location, Breakfast buffet, room
Cons: Check in process : Brittany did not communicate very well and it resulted in some misunderstandings about our reserved room.
Recently remodeled accommodations Spacious guestrooms and suitesLocated centrally to the Bay AreaTop rated Oakland HotelFriendly and professional staffBreathtaking water views of the Brooklyn BasinGreat value with complimentary amenities
Pros: Character, old world, charming. It has a good vibe. Restaurant upstairs is excellent with good selection of wine. Walking distance to Berkeley shops and other really good restaurants.
Cons: The rooms were a wee bit small but comfortable. This is a very old building and built as a place of safe stay for women. There is parking but adds 20 bucks a day to your stay -not unusual.
Pros: The view of San Francisco was really nice from our room. That's the only plus I can talk about this place.
Cons: Everything else. For a 3 star hotel at a premium price, it was disappointing. While the beds seemed clean, they squeaked and creaked like they were from 20+ years old. The rugs where filthy looking with stains. And don't try using the advertised pool, where you first have to sign up for an available time slot and enforced to swim laps only. The breakfast, well, if you like bagels and cereal it'll do, but overall disappointing location. Absolutely would never stay here again.
Berkeley City Club offers a great location, putting you within a 15-minute walk of Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive and University of California - Berkeley. Guests can indulge in spa services and enjoy American cuisine at Julias Berkeley City Club, which is open for lunch and dinner. Other features of this boutique hotel include an indoor pool, a bar/lounge, and a terrace.
Pros: The room is clean; the location is very close to some restaurants; The shuttle drivers were excellent.
Cons: A old hotel, need update;
Pros: Staff was exceptional and for as small as thier kitchen was the food exceeded my expectations. The only slight negative was the fact that this property is probably due for a face lift. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and value I received.
Cons: The food choices were limited and was very loud.
Pros: The staff was excellent room was great aand I had my child with me so you swam in the heated pool I would definetly come back
Pros: It was close to our family.
Cons: The guest room appeared a bit worn, but was clean. The hot tub was very foamy, either from a lack of chemicals or the wrong ones.
Pros: close to a Wal-Mart for basic shopping needs. Also, coming from the Midwest it was close to an In and Out Burger...delicious!
Cons: Kinda of a sketchy neighborhood. Wouldn't walk to the store at night.
Pros: Location, price and beds
Pros: Overall experience
Pros: great stay!

Cons: The rooms are tired. When you walk in the room its hard to believe that this is a Hilton property. This goes for the mini lobby in each of the satellite buildings. Needs a complete makeover or become a new company line called Hilton dormatory .
Pros: Very clean
Very comfortable bed and room
Close to the airport - good for very early or late flights
Convenient shuttle service to the airport and BART station
I could print out my boarding pass for free on the lobby computer
Compared to other hotels in the area with similar quality, it's very good value
Cons: Complementary wifi had issues - the signal showed as strong, but I would have to reconnect almost every 30 seconds, and that's not an exaggeration. The device doesn't have this problem with other networks, so the problem seems to lie in the network itself somewhere. There is free Internet in computers in the lobby, and I would recommend using that instead.
Pros: Proximity to the airport and the front desk staff was awesome.
Cons: It was perfect.
Pros: The rooms are extremely dated, and have a very bad smell.
Pros: I liked the location to oracle arena and the coliseum.
Cons: What I didn't like was the squeaky floor above. EVERYTIME someone walked in the floor above you could hear it.
Pros: Clean large rooms, friendly staff, near airport

Pros: GRADUATE IS A WONDERFUL HOTEL, VERY HIP, VERY UNIQUE. THE SHEETS AND TOWELS WERE TOP OF THE LINE. THE ROOMS WERE VERY WELL DECORATED. THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE. A VERY FRESH IDEA!
Cons: THE RESTAURANT DID NOT HAVE MUCH TOO OFFER.
Pros: Near my destination.
Cons: Hair in my toilet and bathroom.Told no parking available after I checked in and to park on the street. Not informed of construction until after I booked.I deserve a refund not a discount!!
Pros: Has a wow factor. Lovely decor., down to earth staff and great food. Quiet. We had a good price. The location was perfect
Cons: The room was small, felt cramped. We were stunned by the local taxes and fees - $93. I might stay out if the area next time.
Pros: There for a university tour on a Thursday, had a great stay. Room was comfortable and clean (for 4 of us on two double beds). Room was much bigger than SF hotels we had been at earlier in the week. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Lobby was comfortable and the restaurant was surprisingly good. Overall, great place for a short stay.
Pros: The staff was friendly and the location was great - close to bart and uc Berkeley.
Cons: Bathroom window did not open and a little bit noise in the morning.
Pros: I loved the location - so close to UC Berkeley. I also loved Henry's. Ate lunch there and had after shopping drinks.
Cons: Housekeeping was very noisy - starting before 8 am on the floor I stayed on.
Pros: Comfortable, very very friendly and helpful staff, near campus, free wifi (slowish).
Cons: hairs on towel and bathroom floor...
Pros: Location to UC Berkeley
Cons: No air conditioner, very small room
Pros: Everyone is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I loved my room and the pub is fabulous. Great food, great atmosphere and a fun design in the room.
Cons: I didn't find anything I didn't like.
Pros: A very enjoyable stay. Very cheerful and pleasant staff who were always keen to help, especially Eric and Rodolfo at the Front Desk. I will stay again.
Cons: Grouting around bath need replacing (mould)
Pros: The hotel was located in the heart of Berkeley and only 25 mins away from San Francisco by train. It looks a bit daunting from the outside but inside it is extremely clean, staff are very friendly and the bar/restaurant is good. Rooms are not massive but adequate. Would recommend for a stay in Berkely or base to explore San Francisco.
Pros: The staff that couldn't do enough to make our 9 night stay as comfortable as possible.
Graduate Berkeley is a five-minute walk to campus at the corner of the city stir and game day buzz. We are steps from Shattuck Avenue shops and stops. A virtual post card from its counter culture past, Graduate Berkeley resides in the historically renovated Hotel Durant, making it the most storied place around. The lobby invites nods to the arts and academia, the well-traveled local and Berkeley’s Bohemian roots. Collegiate plaids mix with a faraway but familiar feel, like a home away from home.
Cons: Restaurant and bar staff were extremely rude. Warning if waiter offers coffe and orange juice to be filled in the cups on the tables it's $5 each glass. our bed sheets were dirty and had black crumbs inside when opened it. There were also hookers roaming around at night.
Pros: Upon first entrance, the rooms were very clean...although the hotel, windows and doors were disgustingly dirty. Staff at check in were amazing.
Cons: Bed was super uncomfortable...pillows were flat and lumpy. The walls were super thin, so you could hear everything. Terrible.
Cons: I booked and paid for a king balcony room and I didn't get that The hotel claimed that Kayak was responsible for the booking hence they couldn't accommodate my request for a king bed since they didn't have any available.
I couldn't cancel the reservation neither so I feel I was robbed.
I've use this site multiple times but I'm never using it again.
I was robbed since the quality didn't compare to what I paid.
Cons: They had my reservation listed as 2 double beds, when I in fact reserved and paid extra for the king deluxe room with a balcony. The receptionist acted as if I did not have a king reserved, until I physically showed her my reservation on my phone. At that point she then took responsibility for putting us in a king room like we reserved and paid for. Ridiculous.
Cons: Dirty, smelly, and very noisy. We did not have a good experience staying here at all.
Cons: - staff is terrible.
The staff said that the reservation with 3rd party cannot received Hilton HHonor benefit. very Sucks
- Room Service is terrible as well.
Try to connect a lot of time, no answer.
Pros: Excellent family pool and hot tub, comfortable beds, easy access to a walking path on the waterfront, exceptionally friendly staff
Cons: There is no complimentary breakfast, not even a box of corn flakes and coffee. Breakfast buffet was very expensive, so we drove out to a grocery store for food. For the in room coffee maker three guests received three packets of coffee and 2 creams!
Pros: Beautiful location on Marina. Staff is friendly.
Cons: Infrastructure is old. Wireless is spotty.
Pros: Price was solid, room was clean, parking was free.
Cons: Could hear everything going on around my room, woke up multiple times by random folks around my room. The hotel is fairly dated. The bed was not comfortable and nor were the pillows.
Cons: The didn't honor the price I had on my conformation and charged me more. They claim to only get the reservation from Booking.Com and no prices.
Pros: I like how this establishment did not honor my booking they gave me a ridiculous excuse and shoved me out the door
Cons: Fred the supposed manager was very unprofessional he tried to justify his BS by giving me two cookies which I almost threw at his face
Pros: Had an excellent time. Would definitely go back.

Pros: Bunch of you kids partying at midnight kept complex awake and management did nothing to resolve matter
Pros: Comfy Beds, lots of parking, and quiet location.
Cons: No waterfront entrance and only one entrance into hotel
Cons: Good place. Being renovated right now. Call before you book to see if they're finished.
Pros: The location was perfect! A couple steps to the water front where you can board the fairy to San Francisco. Staff was friendly check in and out was easy, bed was very comfortable.
Cons: room was a tad outdated but was still very clean and nice. Hidden parking charges and fees
Pros: No fault of the inn, but if you can't sleep through train whistles all night long, you won't like it. Otherwise no problems or complaints.
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff
Cons: The price! It was described as a boutique hotel. Hah! A motel without the convenience of a refrigerator and microwave.
Pros: AJ was very accommodating and super helpful by getting us ferry times and recommending restaurants to eat. Extremely friends front desk staff. Room was very nice and we were pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and fridge in the room.
Cons: We go into the Amtrak terminal late and walked to the hotel, not very far but still a little scary. Some people just asking for money.
Pros: Service at checking and checkout is outstanding. The desk person was so friendly, offering additional information. That made our stay more enjoyable.
Cons: Finding ice was tricky.
Pros: This is a simple place with a nice courtyard and pleasant rooms. Nothing fancy but good. Central location.
Cons: The furniture was a bit cramped for the space.
Pros: Cheaper alternative to the more expensive waterfront hotels in the area. Great food at the diner next door.
Cons: Parking cost $15/day. You can hear people walking above your room if you're on the 1st floor.
Pros: Our trip to jack london was great.the location was perfect there were plenty to do right outside our hotel.rooms where clean and bed where better than expected.front desk was the only down side we waited 1 hours because our rooms where not ready and we gotno apologies. Food next door at the butternut was great
Pros: The inn was clean and it was less expensive than staying in San Francisco.
Cons: The train is way too close and there are a lot of homeless people and sex workers around. The hotel is located in a strange area that has nice waterfront restaurants but also has a porn theatre and sketchy bars.
Situated in the business district, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Plank and Oakland Museum of California. Jack London Square and Farmers Market are also within 5 minutes.
Cons: The view sucks,it's dated needs renovation badly,no exciting feeling to be there...I had jet lag and fell off to sleep and I was very hungry when I woke up and so around 12:40am I got up and went downstairs to the very old candy/vending machine. The machine didn't take any bills and it has no debit card swipe and so I went to the front counter and the person there said that it only takes coins and so I went back up 3 flights to my room and but luck I had change. So I'm looking for the soda machine and it was upstairs and it was out of everything but the diet drinks. Not happy at all....Why does it cost $3.00 for a small drink?
Then I had breakfast Saturday morning and I was just too through when I had just swallowed powdered eggs.I paid $170.00 a night and you mean to tell me that they can not afford real eggs? Then I get a cup of what I thought was apple juice and it was so nasty! And then I got a cup of orange juice and that was gross too!!!
They only added about 5percent of juice and the rest was water...
I mean REALLY????
