Rivermount House is a boutique-style guest house overlooking the Bandon River outside Kinsale town. In peaceful surroundings, spacious bedrooms have countryside views, bathtubs and satellite TVs. With just 6 bedrooms, all with king-sized beds, there is a relaxed ambiance at Rivermount. Rooms are individually decorated and all offer work desks and seating areas, hair dryers and free Wi-Fi. There are three lounge areas for guests to relax in, and the raised patio area offers wonderful views of the river. A traditional Irish breakfast, using local produce, is served over-looking the water. Continental and vegetarian options are also available, whilst home-made bread is baked daily. There are three golf courses within easy reach of Rivermount, and the beach is just 2 miles away. Kinsale town, with its harbour, shops and gourmet restaurants, is just a 5-minute drive.

The rooms were nice and large. Clare was a good hostess and helped us plan our travels. The breakfasts were excellent. We were surprised that we were further out of town than we thought. Too far to walk and cabs for dinner and back added to the cost.
