Kai Bae Beach Resort Koh Chang

The resort is beautiful and ideally placed, with a big swimming pool, bar, and restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful in organizing our departure and refund for the nights we did not stay. The location is beautiful, right by the beach, and the facilities are top-notch with beautifully kept grounds and friendly and attentive staff. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The breakfast selection was great, and the pool area and the ocean right at our doorstep were loved by guests.

The pool had only one access point, and the beach had no lounge chairs. The sea is lovely there but best to swim at higher tides because of the many rocks in the sea. There is a hotel road between the pool and the beach that cuts through the property, which ruins the entire vibe and is quite dangerous. The food at the beach restaurant is not good. The water pressure was a bit low in the shower, and the pool was only 1.2m deep through the entire length. Some guests also mentioned that the breakfast wasn't great considering the price of the hotel.
