What are the pros of staying at Salakphet Resort?
The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The room and view are amazing. The structure of the property is different with rooms being built on stilts over the water. The food in the restaurant is good. The views were stunning, lovely staff and very helpful.

No tours offered, not boat ride. Far from other areas on the island. Food is a bit expensive. You need to get used to the noise of water lapping at night below the room! The restaurant closes at 6pm which doesn’t leave much time for dinner and a long evening. Shame after 2 long days arrive back at hotel to find there were no facilities to eat, everything closed with only to sit in isolated. The day with their private boat is amazing too. This area is a pure gem, also you must know there is no beach around. But You can swim in the lagoon. Tv has only Thai channels. Breakfast was very expensive.

The resort is located at the quiet end of the island which we liked. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are available free of charge. Moped rental is available on site. The resort is just perfect. Good location, nice big rooms, excellent seafood.

The restaurant closes at 6pm which doesn’t leave much time for dinner and a long evening. The lovely bus we got from Pattaya including ferry to the port cost 450B. The taxi at the port was charging us 1000B to the resort. The last order was 6pm... again I guess this is due to the tourist drought.

The staff are lovely and friendly, and the receptionist super helpful. Staff is friendly and helpful. The driver was a lovely lady. This is the hotel to stay in Koh Chang.
