Pros:-The hotel was fairly clean, but the rooms were in need of some updating. -The room service and food were surprisingly good - the club sandwich was excellent. -The front counter was gracious enough to extend my checkout time, as I came down with a nasty virus my last day in the city and was rendered useless for most of the day.
Cons:-The online advertisement states that they offer a shuttle to the airport for 1,200INR. Upon trying to book this shuttle, they quoted a price that was nearly double and refused to offer the price that they had advertised. No amount of conversation or explanation yielded any results. Very misleading. -During the aforementioned conversation, the manager on site, Winoww, refused to speak to my wife more than once even though she was addressing him. He instead would only talk to me - proving that not only was he incompetent, but he was also quite sexist. His attitude towards my wife, despite a well mannered approach, is the reason I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. It's now 2018 - take your old sexist beliefs and get rid of them - the world has no place for that attitude anymore. For a person in a position of 'customer service', he clearly doesn't understand the role. -My wife and I joked that they had special 'exfoliating sheets' because they were incredibly rough to the touch. -The location is a good 30 minute drive from Fort Kochi, and is still an hour to the airport. There isn't much to see or do around the hotel.
