Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff, very comfortable beds and pillows, a good shared kitchen and nice shared bathrooms. Very cozy, makes you feel at home. Looking forward to coming back so we can make use of the lovely terrace (it was too cold during our visit to spend long outside).
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel was where it was situated and the restaurant - fantastic food and very nice/service minded personnel.
Cons: Perhaps our expectations were higher and we have never shared WCs/bathrooms before (and will never do so again!!) but the WCs and bathrooms could do with a good scrubbing - they were dirty and disgusting. The rooms were very hot and stuffy.
Pros: Helen the owner of the propert y was very welcoming and gave us the best tips to get to know the island. The whole place is lovely, comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. We definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a great experience!
Cons: All good nothing to comment
Pros: Great hospitality, beautiful landscape, delicious breakfast with handmade bread, marmelade and cookies:) Very clean!
A stay at Villa Ingrid places you in the heart of Borgholm, within a 5-minute drive of Borgholm City Museum and Borgholm Castle. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage.
Pros: Very warm welcome by Ingrid.nice room and good breakfast. Very convenient for exploring the island.
Pros: The host was very helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic & plentiful. There was plenty of outside to space to sit in the evening. It was just a short walk from the centre of town.
Cons: Too many rooms sharing one bathroom .Our room was under the eaves and was far too hot. We asked for a bigger fan and got it, which helped. We would definitely stay again just not in a top floor room
Pros: The location is an easy walk from the sea and restaurants. The garden out front is darling and the rooms were comfy.
Pros: Everything was great. The hostess arrived within minutes of calling her. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
Pros: Villa Ingrid is a place I will go back to, if I shall to Borgholm. Niece, clean, fine facilities, breakfast one of the best I have experienced in Sweden. I give it my best recommendation.
Pros: A calm inviting "home" experience, with the comfort of a high class hotel.
Pros: Extraordinary service!
Pros: The location is close to the city center but still in a very calm, friendly area. The garden outside the hotel is a very nice.
Cons: As usual the hotel towels are a bit too small. :)
Pros: Great hosting by Ingrid, she was very helpful & friendly and gsve us tipps on how and where to explore the island. She also made a very good breakfast for all of us visitors and the room was perfectly cleaned, spotless...
Pros: Good location and comfortable bed
Cons: This property was significantly overrated to our expectations. * Our room #4 had a cracked sink so water dripped on to the floor whenever the tap was used. * There were 5 spiders webs inside the room with others on the outside window * The room small size and set-up provided no room for an international traveler to have 1 suitcase, let alone the 2 that we had. This meant that we were constantly navigating around our bags. It would only work for a local traveler with a small over night bag. * The room was not clean, there were stains on the walls and nail holes that had not been filled and painted. Paint was peeling off the bathroom heater. The property needs urgent maintenance. With these negatives the property was very over priced.

Pros: Best cereal had for ages, Cornies were NOT all broken up and lovely berry compote. Scrambled eggs were disappointing - not nice and "fluffy".
Pros: Lovely breakfast in the garden weather permitting.
Pros: Comfortable room Good breakfast Easy parking on street
Cons: Overall service was poor Tried to over charge Long wait in restaurant and then one meal was cold
Pros: Dinner at their restaurant was very much gourmet quality with a wonderful assortment. The staff knowledge of the dishes and wines was a step above what might typically expect, plus they were friendly and just plain wonderful to chat with. The hotel was such a pleasant surprise in terms of efficiency and quality and in the middle of a charming smaller town, just a short stroll from the town square and some wonderful waterside views.
Cons: no dislikes at all
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Great location to walk to dinner or do some shopping.
Pros: The hotel was freshly renovated and just reopened 2 weeks earlier. The interior design was beautiful and there were many small details that were thought through with care. The room was perfect and bed super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good as well. One of the best hotels I have stayed in! We loved it.
Pros: Good fresh lobby. Nice breakfast
Cons: Noice from AC. Small room. A bit expensive for what it is. Restaurant very overpriced.
Pros: Clean hotel polite staff great dinner
Cons: Small room
Pros: Nice, clean and friendly. Lovely location. Next time we stay for a meal in the fantastic restaurant.
Cons: Only drawback was that we had to rely on aircon only as our windows were impossble to open. It would have been so much nicer to sleep with an open window and enjoy the summer breeze outside.
Pros: High quality, delicious food, breakfast outstanding

Cons: Simple interior, not very cozy but clean. Unfortunately, compared to other accommodations we stayed at, basic things for cooking like oil or salt were not provided. On the balcony, you can only see a bit ocean from the side.
Pros: Amazing scenery!!!! Sunset over the water, relaxed personal.
Cons: Can be a bit tight in the kitchen but worked for us
Pros: Perfect stay if you want to discover the island from a cosy village at the west coast. Our kids loved this place so much, also the stony beach just a stone throw away (100m walk). In my view, the pics somewhat underate the really good appartements. Very friendly family-run business! We will definetely go there again.
Pros: Location, nice view on sea sunset, extra heating in the room from the owner because outside was quite gold.
Cons: Bathroom might be more cozy
Pros: The apartment contains all you need for a couple of days holiday, compleet kitchen, good single beds, a comfortable coach and a clean and compleet bathroom. The little terrace looks over the grass field and sea site. It is a quite and clean environment. A sand/pebble beach is available 100 meter down hill from the apartments. We were happy with our stay here, we stayed 2 nights. There is a fuel station is within 1 km from the apartment. Quite, clean and nature!
Cons: There is some noise from the second floor apartment. Bring anti mosquito cream or spray, specially when sitting on the terrace it is very usefully ! Bed sheets and towels are not within the delivery standard, this is not mentioned in the E-information and not in booking.com too !
Pros: Nicely close to the (rocky) beach what provided us with spectaculair views during the heavy storm we had. Our hostess already turned the heater up, so it was nice and warm when we arrived. On the road to Aleklinta there is a camelfarm - who knew there where camels on Oland!!
Cons: Turned out the main attractions where at the south-part of oland. Definitely NOT the fault of Aleklinta Gard but surely something to keep in mind when you visit the island!

Breakfast was a good start to our days in a very peaceful setting. We also were greeted by Nikita, their cat which was charming. My kids and I had a delightful stay and would stay again on our next visit. Quiet location and just a short drive into town. We stayed at 3 different hotels during our trip to Sweden, and this was my children's favorite - very cozy!
Cons: We really had no complaints.

Cons: The hotel needs a good cleaning. Cups were dirty, our room has spider web...

Pros: I liked of course like everyone the location, very close to the sea. So even if I had no time for swimming, I could admire the view eating my dinner and breakfast ;) We were 4 people in room with 2 bank beds. The whole room was quite big and comfortable. Everything needed was there, e.g. electric kettle or coat rack. The biggest (positive) surprise was private bathroom, also quite big. In general it was clean and nice. Staff was polite and helpful. I could leave my car there for some time after check out. I highly recommend this place to stay. I love cycling in Sweden ;)

Cons: Not very much.
Pros: Relaxing place
Cons: The blankets were to thick and so it was very difficult to sleep
Pros: Breakfast excellent as the athmosphere
Cons: The greeting that as I had chosen the cheapest room (that I was not aware of) we had been upgraded to a different building. Had to walk further on gravel (hard for one in our group) but facillity turned out to be good so all was fine

Pros: Very gracious hosts, good breakfast, good rental bike, spacious room. The hosts also have a cafe with lunch. There is also a kitchen with refrigerator and stove for preparing meals. In addition, there is a small ICA across the street.
Pros: Very friendly people and very beautiful house!
Pros: The hosts were very helpful and friendly, helped us out when we arrived after the regular reception hours. Breakfast is good. WiFi is excellent. Room was very clean. The place has bikes to rent, and is close to couple of nature reserves and the Borgholm castle where you can ride. It is easy to find, has good parking space and has a mini-market across the road. We had a room (#6) which was very compact, yet had private bathroom and kitchenette. There's a large lawn with old trees, that has outdoor tables and benches.
Cons: Some minor issues: The place is adjacent to a road which at some times is busy, and if you try to sleep with the window open it disturbs a bit. The breakfast starts 8:30 (probably due to the leisure nature of the place), which was later than we would prefer. The TV has a very limited selection of channels, but this was so across Sweden.
Pros: Specially nice was the service we had, when our mastercard possibly would not work and Stefan Lander personally brought us to the bus, so he could have paid the driver (and we give him the cash) if our mastercard would not work.
Pros: Close enough to bicycle to the Skedemosse museum and the Himmelsberg museum. A good breakfast with fruit juice, bread, cheese and cold cuts off meat. Also yogurt, muesli and coffee! They are also open for lunch and ice cream with waffles. Very good. The owners are very nice and helpful. There is also an ICA across the street.
Cons: Distance from a main town.
Pros: We were well received by the friendly staff and were surprised by the facilities in our cabin. It was a bit small but cozy - and it had a toilet, air-condition, TV, refrigerator, small kitchen with hotplates and a sink. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Our biggest and perhaps only complaint, is that there was ants in our cabin (primarily in the kithen area).

Pros: Amazing view Nice pool and sauna facilities Great over all!
Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: High time to renovate rooms. Its back to the 80's. No AC.. .bathroom old standard... water on the floor. Shower not possible to adjust properly between hot and cold.
Pros: Not much staff on duty. The location was really good with a nice view and easy parking. Nice balcony
Cons: Did not find room 121 superior: - No minibar/fridge, no coffee machine. - Strange room with space taken for visible fold-out beds and cupboards. - Small TV placed far from couch - Bathroom ordinary standard with bathtub, slippery during shower since no rubber-mat in tub No plug in bath-tub so only shower possible Water from drain wet the floor and the floor mat was soaked. Lock on bathroom broken Towels fairly thin - Beds standard single beds. Plugs placed on wall behind beds - not ideally placed for phone charging. one of two plugs were broken. I find that room 121 is a normal room for 4-5 persons just sold as a 2 persons as a superior room - but that has nothing to do with being a superior room.
Pros: You can eat your breakfast outside close to the boats :)
Pros: Dockside restaurant is very, very good! Good breakfast. Nice common areas.
Cons: Rooms are very old and worn down. We looked at three before accepting one of them. But they have just started a renovation.
Pros: The restaurant, the food was excellent
Cons: Would like to know when booking that the hotel is also a night club
Pros: Only had 4 days thank god
Cons: One staff in the bar, close to the restaurant, was most of the time half asleep. Sorry for bothering him in order to order a drink... Too long que in the breakfast part of the restaurant. Didn't made it easier with food displayed all over. Unnecessary long que. Didnt make sense....nice staff in the reception but that's all. Booked from Sydney Australia.
Cons: Bathroom was disaster . Too warm in room no aircondition no fans niether.Shower does not work. Actually I claim my money back. Booking 4star rating was wrong. Many people claimed and get discount. I DID not get because I paid before check in. I request booking compensate me. Br Reza Ghorbani
Pros: Staff were so nice, Nice breakfast
Pros: The hotel was generally good and the breakfast was nice to!
Cons: We booked a double room (room number 417) but the bed was surprisingly small - it looked like a single bed+. We stayed in the weekend and the breakfast was closing to to early - 10 am. Normally it should be closing at 11am!
