Chateau de Paradis

Chateau Paradis stands in a class of its own......the owners are creating an experience that I wish all could enjoy. It is one of the best furnished and decorated period examples I have enjoyed. The owners are helpful in all respects, prepare and serve a great French breakfast, and keep the chateau immaculate. All this goes along with the outstanding beds for the guests' comfort and high quality bathroom upgrades, and ample free parking on the property. I found my stay to be superb and exceeded my expectations at a fair, reasonable price. Wish I could have stayed a week or more.

The chateau is a reasonable distance from Amboise, France, and other chateaus of the Loire Valley. But, it would be an even greater place to stay while in the area if it were a little closer to a more developed area such as Amboise. I do note this is a small issue for many, but it needs to be considered by potential guests who do not have the ability to drive throughout the area. And in future plans, I would hope the owner team considers having a restaurant at the chateau. That would be a great addition if the numbers worked out and it became a feasible option.

If you want to try a castle stay, this is a good choice. Paintings and decorations made you feel back to old times. The key is 200 years old. There are some very good books in the room. Bathroom is very clean and bed comfortable.

If there are some ham or sausages served in breakfast, it would be perfect.

The Chateau is exquisitely furnished and decorated with the greatest attention to detail. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful with the best quality sheets and towels. Eric, the owner, is a remarkable host and presented the most elegant breakfast. He provided information about restaurants and points of interest of the area.
