Great location, huge room with a view, best breakfast of any hotel in SA. Professional staff, OK English ability.
Availability is limited, lost my sock in laundry, but recovered.
They spoke English and were quite helpful with directions, parking and advise that were not related to the room.
It was cold and they didn't have heating. However, they did provide an electric heater when asked. Plus, they advertised free parking, but when I arrived with a rented-car, they were surprised and said they didn't have any. But they made arrangements with the guy across the street for a price. One last thing, their WiFi was only valid for one device. If you have two or three devices, it was impossible. For instance, I used my code for my smart phone. But I couldn't use my laptop nor my stand-alone interpreter. So if I had to work in my room for business, it was impossible.
good standard for the price. front desk employees very welcome and helpful
water pressure is low
Cold showers, an absurd guest policy in addition to rude and unprofessional staff who constantly bother you over unimportant and petty things. This hotel needs a complete overhaul, principally new staff or at the very least an extremely intensive customer service training programme for the current workforce. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels across the world and I very rarely leave reviews but on this occasion I felt compelled to.
Rude, intrusive and unprofessional staff. I was accosted and bothered on several occasions to discuss unimportant aspects of the bill that could have been done at checkout. On one instance they even asked me to come downstairs to the reception, what kind of customer service is that? They have an absurd guest policy which means you're effectively charged double even if the person didn't stay the night. They also tried to charge me for a blood spot on the bed sheet which I did not leave. They are moneygrabbers: pure and simple.
