Pros:Literally there was almost nothing. The woman who checked us in was pleasant enough but she also complained about other guests in front of me.
Cons:Room was dirty TV did not work for our entire stay despite asking them to fix it Room and bldg smelled awful Only ice maker on property was broken Continental breakfast closed before end time, literally couldn’t even grab a coffee Room, decor, exterior, etc. was incredibly dated, like they had not done maintenance or replaced anything since the 60s

Pros:Staff was very friendly.
Cons:Sink was backed up, drained slowly. Fan in the bathroom shorted out and even the light didn't work when turning on the switch at one point. Banged the wall and the switch worked. Bugs in the room, due to large gaps under the door. The continental breakfast used to be great. Sausage, eggs and pancakes. Used to be in the larger cafe area but now it's just muffins, and toast in the main office. With a single table. Must be a staffing issue. Found an empty mountain dew ice bottle in the drawer. Very disappointing. I would came back for the staff, but nothing else.

Pros:Good value for our needs. Decent breakfast in the AM. Kids liked the pool.
Cons:Not too much. We just needed a place for the night and this was a basic hotel for our needs. A microwave in the room would have been handy.

Cons:I didn't like that the room wasn't updated. The tv is not modern at all. For the price I paid I was expecting it to look a lot nicer. I felt like they over charge for a room that's not even worth it. I didn't sleep at all and was uncomfortable. The breakfast was alright. The breakfast room was hot and crowded. The whole place needs to be renovated. My thing is I would have felt better knowing I didn't pay so much for a place that looks run down. Not impressed.

Pros:The rooms were not overly expensive, especially considering this was a holiday weekend. If you desire a 5 star hotel and plan on staying indoors the whole time, you might want to check out another spot. However, we were outside most of the time, using the lake, watching the fireworks and sitting on the outdoor tables that sat up o a high hill overlooking magnificent Lake George. The room was adequately clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was absolutely lovely. Breakfast one morning was quite crowded but you could always eat outside or go back to your room if that disturbs you.The hotel was full but you didn't get the feeling you were in a tight crowd as rooms were soundproof and there was a nice amount of property to walk around. We actually had some good laughs with the staff who were friendly and upbeat the whole time. Take the family or just go with your significant other. You will enjoy yourself.
Cons:There was not much not to like. We got a non-smoking room and I didn't smell anything although my partner said there was a slight smell in the room, however nothing that bothered me and I have quite the nose for smells!!! At breakfast we all seemed to have difficulty with the toaster but , honestly, is that something that should ruin your day? Some people were pushy and verbalized their frustration over minor things at breakfast but that in no way reflects upon the facility or management........................and I say , Hey folks, relax, you are on vacation. Let the anger go!!!!! The pool was smaller than in the website photo but still adequate and clean.

Pros:The staff was polite.
Cons:The part of the motel we stayed in was beyond dated and it was very apparent that the owners have done very little to improve the condition of the facility; the outside seating consisted of two small bright blue plastic slat tables & two sorely used chairs. My friend and I just looked at one another and simultaneously said, "Really???" Over all the interior was not dirty but it was very dated; the rug however looked like it needed a GOOD cleaning; the beds were surprisingly comfortable - which was a welcome surprise. My friend and I were in Lake George school shopping at the outlets for our grand children and due to our poor planning were unable to get a room elsewhere, consequently we ended up at the Travelodge. The location is prime; on top of a rise so there are excellent views. This motel seems to capture the overflow from the other motels and appeared to be well occupied; in light of this, I question why the owners have not reinvested in the property to make, ATLEAST, some aesthetic upgrades; it could be a nice place to stay, it's a shame...
