Overview
Located in Lake Louise in Canada is the Baker Creek Mountain Resort. It’s an intimate little resort that’s right outside of Banff National Park. Families and other types of travelers will find beautiful views, many outdoor activities, and cozy accommodations to make for great times.
The resort houses only 35 rooms which are all smoke-free. Guests can choose cabins that are one-bedroom lofts, two bedrooms, or the Heritage Trapper’s, which is a freestanding cabin that has a jacuzzi, a private deck with grill and a kitchenette inside. There are also the lodge suites which can be booked with a jacuzzi tub and a deluxe loft suite. Amenities in the rooms include fireplaces or wood-burning stoves, and comfortable bedding. Note that guests won’t find cell service or air conditioning.
There are kitchenettes and BBQ grills at Baker Creek Mountain Resort so guests can prepare their own meals. The hotel also has its own restaurant, Baker Creek Bistro. The menu has many classic Canadian foods on it. Guests can eat at the lounge and patio area as well for small bites and some cold beer. The restaurant is open for all three meals of the day for guest convenience.
Banff National Park offers a lot for visitors to do on their trips. When weather permits, guests should take a walk along the creek or take a trail over to Bow River. The winter months bring skiing and snowboarding to the area. There are many good hiking trails that can be snowshoe trails in the winter.
