Pros: Accommodation with charme, the owners Emma and her husband are very welcoming and make you feel home. Amazing dinner. The two ladies (Sole and C .) cooked traditional home made food and it was excellent !!!

Pros: Beautifully and sympathetically refurbished set of Alpujjaran village houses with spectacular views. The English owners (who have lived there for 20 years) were extremely friendly and helpful with regard to organising activities and walks. Their cosy, friendly restaurant served outstanding local dishes created by their wonderful cook (who had lived in the village all her life) and made with local ingredients.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: One very caring, fun, beautiful lady makes this place a standout. Not so easy to find after dark, so Mary stood on the entrance to the driveway with a light to wave us in. She then prepared one of her marvellous, generous meals and her consideration throughout our 2 night stay and big, little extras made this a special place. Location only fine with a car but that means it’s peaceful. We had a spacious, comfortable suite with a terrace and rural views. There’s a grand indoor leisure and dining setting or rustic outdoor patio. Tea, coffee & biscuits in our room, so unusual in Spain. And I just have to mention the great entertainment value of the 3 little dog-musketeers!

Pros: ... the warm welcome from lovely hosts, a beautiful room full of natural light with a view down to the coast and fabulous food ....,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This authentic historical building has been lovingly conserved and renovated by Raul and Marjet. We also enjoyed the best meal of our holiday, in our garden patio and home-cooked by the wonderful Marjet.
Cons: The property is located near to the village entrance, with parking nearby, so you will find it eventually. We drove right by and even standing nearby, we were not sure we had found the right place. Perhaps it would help to have a sign on the side wall to be seen when driving toward the house.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked Viña y Rosales as soon as i walked into the place. It's a big house with large, baronial rooms, lots of chestnut tree beams, lots of space and lots of atmosphere. Moreover, it has a wonderful garden bursting with flowers and shrubbery. Raoul and Marjet are marvellous hosts and we had more than a few amusing and interesting conversations fuelled by excellent home-made meals and local wine. If you are heading out for a walk, you'll get a splendid breakfast, too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic host, lovely area. Delicious breakfast! Go here to relax ,walk and enjoy nature.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old house beautifully restored. Delightful hosts. Great character. Perfect for exploring the area if you want character, not all luxury.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was so beautiful we didn't want to leave. Authentic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Viña y Rosales is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The building dates from the 1700s and the renovations preserved a lot of the original character of the house. The hosts are very kind and super helpful. We had an excellent dinner there. We stayed in five different places in the Alpujarras and Viña y Rosales was our favorite.
Cons: Due to the layout of the rooms we had to walk through our friend's room to get to our room. It wasn't a problem for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old place lovingly restored in a small town in a peaceful mountain setting. Fantastic hosts Marjet and Raul made us feel so welcome we wished we could have stayed longer than one night. Marjet also cooked us a delicious dinner which we enjoyed with local wine, and the breakfast was lovely too. I would love to come back to Vina y Rosales, great place to do some hiking or just sit and enjoy the mountain air.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marjet and Raul were the most fantastic hosts and have made an exceptional job of sympathetically restoring their 300 year old house. It's full of charm, character and quirkiness. The evening meals were absolutely delicious with produce from their own garden. I am so glad we had the opportunity to stay here and enjoy the amazing views and walks. We were made to feel so very welcome and at home that we were sorry to leave. Thank you Marjet and Raul.
