Cons: No refrigerator in the rooms was a downer, was supposed to have a King suite but was given a room with 2 double sized beds that we barely fit in with us both laying there, and we are big people at all. There wasn't any rooms left so that's what we were stuck with.
Capital Plaza Hotel puts you within a 10-minute drive of Kentucky State Capitol and Kentucky State University. After splashing around at the indoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. There's also a fitness center, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: Wallpaper was falling down in the upstairs hallway.
Pros: the desk clerk and she was very helpful and pleasant to us.
Pros: Very clean. Very friendly. Breakfast was much better than most. Could have been 3.5 instead of 2.5.
Pros: the proximity to restaurants.
Cons: the internet connection was sub standard. the pool needs some attention.
Pros: Property is well kept. Sits back off of main highway. Near restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Front desk personnel are never front and center. They all seem to hide out in a little room off of the front desk area. This hotel must be short staffed in the housekeeping department. We stayed for four nights and our room was neglected the first night
Pros: The room was very comfortable. No issues.
Cons: The wifi did not work for 2 days of my stay. I ended up down going 5 he's at a Starbucks working on one day & 4 hours on another so I could use the wifi. Very inconvenient. I contacted the IT team & they rebooted the server but it didn't help.
Definitely would stay again!
Pros: Located right off highway, breakfast variety hot and cold , comfortable bed, microwave and refrigerator in room, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery
We tried to speak to the front desk about breakfast there was no one there for 45 minutes to even talk to. Sign said not available.
Pros: Beds and pillows where super.
Cons: The housekeeping staff all ate breakfast and left little for us and other guests, we arrived for breakfast at 8:45 am. Breakfast was stated to go till 9:30 but there was little left to choose from. The breakfast was one factor for choosing this hotel.
Pros: Location, size and comfort of room, refrigerator and microwave in room, excellent soaps, shampoos, good breakfast selections
Cons: stayed 3 nights, room was not cleaned one day
Pros: location and large room and bathroom and I like the fact that they don't have big clunky bedspreads with lots of germs. they use a clean sheet to cover bedding it felt cleaner
At the rate charged, this hotel was a disappointment. Room smelled.
Cons: It smelled
Returning to an unclean room ruined our experience. I would have rated this hotel much higher otherwise. I
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: We had the 'do not disturb' sign out for about 20 minutes. When we removed it and left our rooms the maids were still on the floor cleaning. When we returned about 7 p.m. the room had not been cleaned. I had to get clean towels at the desk.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and was very clean.
Cons: I didn't like being charged double for a room due to no record of my reservations made online and the follow up call I had to make due to my charges not being backed out like I was promised. I didn't like the selling point of a hot breakfast just to have the cook not show up on time the following morning so a manager came in LATE to prepare it. Wasn't ready when I was departing. Not the end of the world but very inconvenient. I hated the king bed but she didn't mind it so it's probably personal preference.
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast, warm and fresh.
Cons: The room had a strong chemical smell, like cleaning supplies that wouldn't go away.
Didn't have an accessible room to accommodate a family of 4, the room only had a king bed.

Pros: Free wifi.... When it worked. Not bad for the price.
Cons: Paint was chipping, bathroom tiles falling off. Door WOULD NOT LATCH unless slammed. Dirty everything. I spilled water when I first got there and when I cleaned it up the towel was covered in grime and brown nastiness. Wifi signal was spotty at best.
Pros: Fairly clean, comfortable, inexpensive. Pool was well maintained, salt water instead of chlorinated. No one was swimming so we had the pool to ourselves. New flat screen tvs with HD channels and wide variety of channels available. Free high speed wifi.
Cons: Free breakfast is nothing to get excited about. Orange juice tasted awful, like it was Tang. Didn't bother with any of the food. Carpet was also dirty, we all had a film of dirt on the bottom of our feet after walking around barefoot. Also no open easily accessible outlets that aren't over the sink.

Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 6 AM and 10 AM. Pros: It was the cheapest option in the area. That's it.
If you're used to roughing it and desperate to save $10 a day, go ahead. Don't bring your kids.
Cons: The other tenantes were drug dealers, homeless, or down on their luck users. Domestic abuse left and right. Drugs being dealt in the open.
The room was dirty, damaged, and outdated. The shower sprayed a fine mist of a broken spray bottle.
At University Lodge Motel, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Kentucky State University and Kentucky State Capitol. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Nothing, probably the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at.
Cons: Yes, everything about was not to be liked. Very disappointed!!
Pros: The location was extremely convenient during the 127 yard sale.
Cons: The night clerk at check-in was extremely rude. He seemed angry we were checking in at 10 pm, even though we indicated it was our arrival time when we made our reservation. Never said 'please' or 'thank you' and made the check-in process miserable.
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: All areas smelled of smoke. Everything was heavily worn, but still functional. Male night manager stared at my daughter every time we were in the lobby.
Pros: Clean enough but could use remodeling.
Cons: The bathroom
Pros: There was nothing good about this hotel except the staff that was understanding and gave us a refund as we left 10 minutes after arriving.
Cons: Non smoking room wreaked of smoke, they knew it too as the window was open trying to air it out. There was trash still in the floor and what looked like dead bugs under the sheets.
Pros: Hotel was very nice. The beds and pillows were awesome. There was free breakfast and they actually had a variety of things. Staff was super nice! Would def stay again!
Cons: Water was brown
