Beautifully located with awesome snorkelling right out front. We organised boat to cave and everything went effortlessly and smoothly.
It could do with clothes air rack to dry damp/wet clothes.
The staff were beautiful Christian women and men who had hearts for connecting and helping their guests. Great location and snorkelling
Showers. Unable to get tge right temperature. It was either too hot or completely cold.
The restaurant food was VERY good. The grounds are exceptional. Interesting nooks and crannies, beautiful flowers and shrubs, lots of stone walls built on top of coral outcrops ... stunning. The accommodation was clean, stylish and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a channel to swim out to get to the reef for snorkeling and a blue holes within easy walking distance. We thought this resort was much nicer and more personal than the White Sands resort next door.
The budget accommodation was more basic than we had expected but we were able to upgrade to a fantastic room with a great view.
Great location and property, but even though the grounds were massive, there were nowhere to sit down except for at the restaurant. Really missed seats, hanmocks and sunbeds on the lawn or by the oceanside. I find it strange to plan such a nice garden, and not completing it and being able to fully enjoy it. The restaurant was a mess, plenty of staff, but extremely unorganised. Seems to be a completely lack of management and organisation. We were ignorered, orders were missed a number of times, and we had to wait for a very long time, even when it wasn’t busy. The breakfast was the worst! There were almost no food available, even though we usually showed up early, and it was hardly refilled. We had to keep on asking for plates, mugs, knives and forks - constantly. Maybe invest in a dishwasher or organise it a different way among the staff, that seemed to be hanging around the bar instead of helping out. Also, it seemed to be piling up in the kitchen during every meal, which kept us all waiting for a long time. Because of the lack of competion, I guess most people are forced to eat all their meals at the resort. If they had any other options, this would be a different story. The organisation at the reception and the tour desk was excellent though! We signed up for some of the regular, but a bit overprized tours, and in addition to this, the staff also helped us organise drivers to take us into the villages at Tanna. Both the friendly staff and the drivers really made our stay in Tanna really wortwhile!
Absolutely gorgeous location. Amazing coral, beautiful sunsets, amazing volcano. The location was superb. The staff were lovely and the food was very good, particularly amazing because of how remote the location is.
