Pros: The bed was large and really comfortable with extra pillows if we needed them. The room was spacious. Tiger breakfast was very good with a wide choice.
Cons: Ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel on the first night and we were pleased with the meal. We went again on the next night because it was raining heavily to save going out, unfortunately the chicken was awful and the chips cold.

Pros: Great location. After flying into Limoges we were catching a train the next day. The bed was very comfortable and the premises were relatively new.
Cons: I know this is a budget/mid-price hotel but paper cups for tea and coffee and disposable plastic cups in the bathroom were disappointing. Glasses and china should be de rigour.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice appartement. Modern interior in classic surroundings.
Cons: We had an appartement on the street side and this was a bit noisy. We slept with the windows closed so that was no problem. However, I imagine that in summer the room can get quite hot and with no airco and a noisy street... anyway, we slept fine!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very large room in aristocratic style, large bathroom. Good central location, parking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and Delphine, the receptionist, was delightful and very helpful when we met her on our second days stay. Visited Oradour sur Glane which was thought provoking and wonderfully presented. A must for any history buffs!
Cons: Arrived on a Sunday and there was NOBODY there. We gained access after phoning for a code to put into the entry system. I think the entry system for weekends needs to be clearer. It felt like entering the Marie Celeste!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostess was excellent, and place was super clean and comfy. Felt like a home away from home. Bought breakfast for 7 euros and all was homemade and excellent! Even yogurt, jams and applesauce was homemade. Great location, but people down the street were loud and partied late at night. No fault of place as it was excellent, just a few of the neighbors.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location for an easy walk to the old town and all other local landmarks. The room was very comfortable and had garden views. The host was very friendly and ensured I knew where the best restaurants were for an evening meal. Breakfast had plenty of options - teas, juices, breads, jams etc - all very well presented.

Pros: Location is good. Very close to Gare.
Cons: No hair drier, No cup ,Just a room for taking shower and sleep.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Not the first time I stay in hotels of this chain, but this hotel just disappointed me! I don’t want to describe all the inconveniences that I experienced there, but one thing just made me angry and made me very nervous! The booking says that the eviction was before 12:00, but already at 11:20 (at the same time I was in the shower) they started knocking on the door, and they didn’t act on all my answers that I take a shower !!! As a result, they opened the door themselves, and all my attempts to prove that the eviction before 12:00 did not work !!!! I was practically pushed out of my room, trying to prove that the eviction was before 11:30! I ask the hotel administration to read their check-in / check-out instructions again!!!!!!

Hôtel Les Bénédictins - Limoges - Building
12
8.5 Excellent (176 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Les Bénédictins in Limoges, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Musee National Adrien Dubouche and Church of St-Michel-des-Lions. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel right by the train station. Nice clean room and good shower.
Cons: No aircon but room wasn't too hot in very hot weather.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was a little basic. But only 7e
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable with basic facilities for drinks and a good buffet breakfast. I particularly liked the location which was very near the station for my ongoing journey and it was great to have a beer on arrival in their cool courtyard. The proprietor did not speak much English but was very kind and helpful and kept my bag for me until my afternoon train on Saturday while I explored Limoges. Worth others noting - Limoges station has no left luggage facilities!
Cons: No air conditioning but at that price I wouldn't necessarily expect it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very conveniently situated and easy to find, the staff were really kind and helpful and the room was well-set up and spotlessly clean. We were able to leave our bikes securely locked in a courtyard. The manager is really friendly and helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was great value and the location was excellent; right next to a beautiful park with fountains and people dancing, and then streets with restaurants going towards the old town.
Cons: For the price I have no complaints. It wasn't as salubrious as the Mercure where we stayed before but we want to rate this place well :-)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located within easy walk of the station and ideal for moving on next day - room basic but comfortable for overnight stay
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked that the room was big, warm enough, the bed was comfortable, and fairly quiet. Wifi fine. Everything was reasonably modern and worked well. On the other hand I found nothing to eat in the vicinity in the evening, or the next morning! The area felt unsafe. Not the hotel's fault! The hotel had no reception though, it is basically hotel rooms above a cafe / betting shop / bar. You go to the bar / shop to get the room key and then you are on your own. I liked quirky Limoges.
Cons: Room was a bit stuffy, and windows couldn't really be left open due to noise.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good price quality ratio. Close to city center. We had the most quiet room, other rooms are on the noisy street side. Breakfast basic, but for the price quite good.
Cons: The hotel is on a busy street. As there is no airco, you need to open the window for some fresh air. Our room was terribly hot and noisy, so we asked and got the room om the more quite side. This was much better and we had a good sleep. The hotel is in the close vicinity of the railway station. For us, it was a stop over on our trip to Spain. I would not pick this hotel again.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing , dark, stuffy, no clean air place
Cons: No a/c when outside +31 C, even windows do not open, unfriendly owner of the hotel is the only staff, walls are paper thin you can hear everything next door, no hooks in the bathroom, dark stain littered carpet on the floor that stinks
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness. New taps in all this mess make a nice different.
Cons: I have no idea where this 8,5 score comes from? New towels through out on bathroom floor. Soap dispensers empty, colors of the bathroom and woodwork from 70tiies. Door you h the carpet so. Much you can bearly open it. Carpet dirty. Etc etc. Staff speaks only French. I know is France but come on.... Light on corridor starts after 5 sec crowling in darkness to knowwhere. Shower is so small that the curtains glue to the back when you try to use it. Towels rail hanging half way from the wall. I did expect something different for 50 euros..... honestly Sorry guys long way to go to improve that.....

Pros: Ideal como parada a medio camino de un viaje. Sencillo, limpio, facilidades de check in a cualquier hora, cerca de la autopista... Perfect for a halfway stop, simole, clean, easy check in, closed to the highway...
6.3 Good
Pros: It was somewhere to sleep
Cons: That we had two nights booked.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good value accommodation and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful
Cons: The breakfast egg mush is terrible - plastic artificial garbage. Suggest your raise the price of the breakfast a dollar and provide some real eggs. If fact, I would choose an Ibis hotel over B&B just because of the hideous egg mush breakfast. You really should consider getting rid of this breakfast mush - seriously. It might save a few pennies, but will cost you in the long run.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: power shower was amazing, Staff very helpful and friendly
Cons: With all the pictures of breakfast thought it was included, should have looked closer, room was small like Ibis ones, no kettle in room but a good vending machine in foyer.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, good sheets, clean. Excellent for a quick stop. Restaurants next door to choose from. Breadfast was OK. Scrambled eggs as hot option (no bacon or sausages) but lots of bread, croissants jams, fruit yogurts.
Cons: I felt the room smelt of cigarette smoke (very subtle) but dreamt I was in an ashtray!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Simple, clean and comfortable. Definitely a great value.
Cons: Checking in after 5 PM is a bit challenging. Requires parking off site and checking in via computer type system next to front door. Easier than one thinks, but prefer a person to check in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful helpful receptionist a credit to your hotel. Spotless room and excellent value for money
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in the family room en route through France. Pleasantly surprised with the room, the breakfast, and the location (a short drive from the town center but plenty of restaurants within walking distance). Excellent value. Would definitely recommend for a stop-over.

Pros: We were very happy with the location and that it had air conditioning when it was 32! It was an easy walk from the SNCF train station. It was close to Royal Limoge factory too! The staff were great and our room was very comfortable. It was great being able to eat at the restaurant too!

7.9 Good
Pros: We only had a stopover in Limoges on a Sunday evening and the hotel has a good position in the city centre with a public car park underneath. A typical chain hotel.
Cons: As we were there for one Sunday night in September the staff could have offered to find us a restaurant to eat in as it was very quiet in Limoges and a lot of places shut. We did eventually find some food but some advice would have been helpful.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect, close to everything. Breakfast was great.
Cons: The room was okay. But the curtains were a flimsy, transparent material so you can never have a dark room, considering that the windows take over one whole wall. Pillows were too high, more like a square cushion. Not very comfy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were very good, went out of the normal to help us to make our stay more special on our tour of Europe. Breakfast was excellent, all we needed for our long travel back to the ferry port.

Pros: Location - right beside the train station (in fact I could see the station from my room; but thankfully not hear the trains coming and going!)
Cons: The decor of my room wasn't quite as modern and fresh as the lobby. However, it was clean and very comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to the train station. Great kebab place minutes away selling fantastic middle eastern food. Easy to find, park (€7.50) per day and quick to leave limoges to explore the countryside. Will need to return as I had no idea Limoges had so much to offer and so easy to explore surrounding areas.
Cons: Walls are a little thin so could hear noises quite late at night.
6.7 Good
Pros: Convenient location with parking. Friendly staff and clean. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Noisy overnight due to pub next door and trains.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: n/a
Cons: rooms to warm , beds rock solid , bed just thrown over not made ...did a better job myself came away from hotel after 3rd night didn't spend 4th night as planned didn't replenish tea/coffee/water on a daily basis even though they were used seemed to concentrate on providing the use of apple mac computers rather than spending money on guest experience
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in
Cons: If that was supposed to be a superior double then I hate to think what a standard double looked like
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Room very old fashioned. Carpet on walls ! Large cobwebs. Poor decoration. No air conditioning (there was a fan). No kettle in room. Shower really poor flow. Would not stop again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was ideal for our purposes, a short stop-over following our arrival into France and before we went on our tour of the country. We had a taxi from the airport so we were at the hotel quite early. This did not faze the staff, however, and they let us leave our luggage in a locked room until later. The room was comfortable with a kettle which was great. We could walk into both areas of old town including the cathedral and the river bank walks. We loved the historical town with lots to draw our attention.
Cons: As we were near the station there was some train noise but it was not really a problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff. It was an old building that had been done up. The car park was easy to get into and we were given an upgrade !
Cons: The bathroom squeaked and woke me up in the night ! I didn’t have the language skills to tell them. A rather first world problem ——
