what a beautiful hotel and what a beautiful view .perfection. everything was lovely
Helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to assist at all times
A lovely hotel and the view was amazing, Would stay again. Did not like the fluffy toys placed in the trees.
Friendly, attentive & efficient staff. Hotel in great setting. Superb room (loved the eclectic art & decor). Quality of food with excellent service.Good wine list. Paucity of portions at dinner having regard to cost.
Excellent rooms, very clean, public rooms very good nice art on walls, most of staff friendly None really
Friendliness of staff Quality of food Size of accommodation
it was close to all the places that we wanted to go, it was quiet every thing was ok
pleasant staff good restaurant/food room was too light at dawn as door to outside had no curtain. a compressor ran from approx 7am causing a dull drone in room during the day, not at night.
The room was spacious and private
Outside Looe so no late-night noise. Good breakfast. Plenty of car parking. Very hard mattress and pillows, no comfortable chairs in room and no lounge for residents. Costs extra for basic "housekeeping" in the room.
View from bedroom Housekeeping charge £5.00 per day which we were not made aware of at time of booking. also check in not available until after 5 pm
everything from staff to management. everyone very friendly our kind of people . not applicable
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Very friendly staff and superb service - especially the food
We had a nice quiet room lovely furnishings and helpful staff
We felt really comfortable with everything about the hotel, staff were friendly and courteous, the veiws from our very comfortable room were beautiful and all the food we had was well prepared and delicious. We found nothing to dislike.
It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The standard of decor and the thought given to equipping the rooms is excellent. The manager is outstanding and could not do enough fo us. I thought the whole experience was fantastic. The food was wonderful. I would certainly go back. The shower was not very forceful and since we'd paid for a superior room I though we may get a more powerful shower but that's all.
Had a lovely stay, were greeted by very helpful receptionist. Room was very clean and had recently been redecorated but was a bit on the small side.
we loved it and would come again no
On-site parking (unusual in Looe), heated outdoor pool (unusual in a 2-star hotel) and fabulous staff (increasingly unusual anywhere). Stay here ! Stairs, stairs everywhere ! (Including up to reception - not good with heavy bags) very pricey bar which closes at eleven at the latest, but the views from the terrace and lounge will ease the pain...
Breakfast - lots of choice, plentiful, hot, Dinner - well varied menu, fresh produce cooked and presented well. Panoramic views, Warm friendly atmosphere. Lots of stairs, no lifts,
View from the room Nothing
Sea view quiet location
friendly and a warm welcome unfortunately for us no lift or help with baggage
Superb. Hazel & Ross make you so welcome. Great food, great views, beautifully appointed rooms. Deserves more than 3 stars.
Friendly owner, excellent food, clean Decor in some areas needs updating - seemed a bit 'confused' about style direction, as images on website did not match actual room
The welcome from Hazel and Ross was excellent. Both the accommodation and quality of the restaurant exceeded our expectations. All fruit and vegetables organic and grown in the grounds. Nothing at all.
I liked its central location. It was quiet and restful. Pleasant place.
The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful countryside location yet close to a picturesque fishing port. The room was spacious and comfortable and the food was of a high standard. Whilst the wine selection was good the offerings at the bar were limited for my personal taste.
The views from our window were fantastic. Not warm enough.
Very friendly staff and excellent service, very sympathetic as our stay was for the funeral of a very dear friend. The hotel also hosted the wake in a very sensitive manner. The towel rail needed bleeding and the staff gave that their immediate atatention...
Good welcome and good food also availability of single rooms at reasonable cost Breakfast service with a full house was slow - would be quicker if juice and cereals were self service.
Friendly staff, lovely breakfast with good choice.
Friendly and welcoming staff and EXCELLENT food. Good advice was given about places to visit. The locals made you feel welcomed from the onset. It is ideal for visitng Cornwall and we would return there to stay. They need to improve curtains in the room. ( they weren't hanging properly!! Hooks missing !!)
Food choice and quality
location was great, really nice little village, picture post card hotel noise level from bar downstairs, very loud went on til around 1.30am both nights just what you need with a 3yr old and an 11hour journey, very poor reception on tv, foisty smell in bathroom and uncumfortable bed. shame as it wouldnt take much to put right and turn stay from bad to great.
That it was a local community pub set in a lovely little country village
It Was out of the way and in countryside The room was quite noisy due to bieng above the Bar area
Whilst the Inn looked run down, the room was clean and bright and staff generally helpful. Breakfast was poor and mean, the service was grumpy and unusual compared to the rest of the staff we met. The accomadation was spoilt by the usual result of staying in a pub, cooling motors and pumps running through the night.
The room was clean. No place at all in the bathroom for toilet articles. I didn't found an hair dryer in the room. Since it was late I had to postpone to the next morning to ask the staff for it. We stayed for one night only... I do not recommend for a longer stay.
good food and peace and quiet
