Pros. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. It has close proximity to many tube stations, which makes getting around easy. Hyde park is really close by and is super beautiful. Back to the hotel, the staff is amazingly friendly. Several Spanish speakers (mostly from Spain) work here, so that is convenient if you need translation. The towels are good, the water pressure I exceptional. If you get the breakfast included take advantage of it, the breakfast is very hardy.
Cons. The hotel is pretty old and outdated. All the floors squeak and you can hear everyone around you. The beds leave a lot to be desired.
Pros. Cooked breakfast really nice Staff efficient, polite and helpful
Cons. No air conditioning Hand soap tablet too small Not enough shower gel Some rooms not suitable as doubles
Pros. The manager, once on duty, promptly arrange to have our room moved to a cleaner larger room that did not have mold. It has a good location close to a tube station.
Cons. The room we initially received had no internet connection and was covered in black mold. We arrived late in the evening and there was no manager on duty to assist us until the next morning the hallways and the carpets are filthy but once we were relocated the second room was not bad.
Pros. Bathroom, though very small, was modern and clean.
Cons. Room was extremely small.
Pros. Great location near the Tube and Hyde Park, I would stay here again if given the chance. Staff was great.
Cons. Rooms were teeny tiny but bathroom was nice and big. Nice big shower as well.
Pros. right next to Hyde Park, Kensington, close to the Palace, and several tube/bus stations.
Cons. The room was tiny, no big deal that's a European hotel, but it was filthy. The shower was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, one of the lights was dangling out of the fixture, and the carpets all had weird stains. I was on the top floor close to the elevator and could hear a clunking noise from the elevator every time it was used. With so many hotels in the area at comparable rates, there has to be one better than this.
Pros. Quite convenient, nearby tube station and buses to major attractions are quite frequent as well. Breakfast included which was nice.
Cons. Small room, very european style.
Pros. They were very helpful in letting me check in early. Also, when I asked where I could buy a wall plug for my phone they gave me one to use overnight.
Pros. Moments from Kensington Gardens, quiet, clean, friendly multi language staff, reasonably good English breakfast, good value for three nights. Recommended.
Cons. As always the case, a small room, poor wifi, mediocre quality TV and bathroom equipment, no fridge or minibar, no air con.
Pros. The elegant lift! The staff and the location and price were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to my mates and visit again
Cons. My room smelt of smoke when I walked in which was disappointing
