It's a hostel but it's a decent hostel compared to some I've stayed in. It is in easy reach of the Kensel Green Tube Station which means a lot for transport and in adjacent to a cemetery which means that it is actually quiet for a London location.
There is no place to lock up your personal items like most hostels have in room (cabinet with a lock). The drains stop up in the showers and in-room sink, and some of the high bunks have no ladder, just a rickety chair placed in the room for use to climb up or get down from the bunk bed. Also, not enough toilet paper is stored in the ladies loos so when you have to relieve yourself in the morning, you must bring your own. Oh, there is never any soap stored in the ladies toilet depensers mounted on the walls so again, you must bring your own. One shower is found in each room so it you need to clean up, everyone in the room knows it. They have shower stalls in the toilet areas but the plumbing is incomplete so they do not work at all.
they dont provide any receipt after your purchase; the breakfast is included but is is only jam and bread
Its nice to share a first experience in a foreign town wit many other people from the whole world. some of them are just like you, other have more experience to teach you. And you have a nice coffee shop to relax, seeing moovies and stuff
the shower in the room was a bit hard to take with people inside
It was nice stay at hotel and the staff at the 639 was excellent.
at least one private light should be mounted which can restrict light in the 4 bed room so that without disturbing others one can do his job at his bed.
I really enjoy staying there, the staff were very welcoming and there were very organise
The only thing I did not enjoy was the coffee shop, there were not food and I ask for salt which there refuse to give because I wasn't buy anithing from the shop. I find it very ridiculous.
It was a horrible experance, the matress was the worest I have ever rested on. The corridors smelt of urine. There was no where to store securly any items, just put it behind the counter.
The performanceof the staff is very good and the value of money is fair. The bed is big enough and and the breakfast is not bad.
The bed clothes should be cleaner.
The room was horrid there was mould on the bed sheets the room smelt damp and discusting. The toilets where in a mess and didnt lock, there was stains on the wall. The reception was rude and abrupt. The beds themselfs didnt look as though they had been clean.
Room was cold, unclean and there was loud music most nights I was there, till 3 or 4 am.
