Location was ok
It’s very tacky. More like a converted house than a hotel- with the conversation done badly. Disliked it very much
The room was clean and nice fresh smell in hole hotel and staff was very helpful. Very good location near city and tube station. Highly recommended isledon hotel. T
Everything was perfect back again.
Bed was clean. Coffee making facilities provided.
Very rough neighbourhood, and no sign on the front door to tell you it was a hotel. The whole place smelt of weed and the shared toilet was disgusting. Room smelt weird, like it was damp, and there were cigarette stains and a cake of dust on the windowsill. The owner called me before and asked me to pay £108 in cash because "the card machine was broken". But I got there and there was no card machine at all - other reviews say the same thing so he's getting cash from everyone. The price was a rip off. Did not feel safe here and refused to let my girlfriend sleep in this place. Ended up leaving early and spending the night in a Travelodge - better quality and was £25 cheaper.
The bed was comfy and quite big the shower was easy to work. Room was convenient considering what it was needed for however not somewhere I would frequent on my London travels. Receptionist was nice.
Milk provided in room was out of date. Almost drank curdled tea. Had to go to Starbucks every morning for a decent brew. Not provided with much toilet roll. The card machine was broken so full price of stay had to be paid upfront in cash.
Pretty much exactly what I expected. The rooms had just enough space for their comfy beds, but that's all that was needed. The staff was really friendly and even gave us water bottles for our visit.
Very pricey and a little crammed.
With a stay at Isledon Hotel in London (Islington), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Emirates Stadium and Finsbury Park.
