I liked how you could bring foods to store at the kitchen. I liked how close the store was to get milk, eggs, etc.
I did not like that there was no A/C.
The atmosphere is great, staff super friendly and helpful. It’s quiet, beds are comfortable and rooms spacious. It’s a few blocks away from Angel Station (northern line) and less than 10-minute walk from Kings Cross. The area is beautiful and there are lots of coffee stores nearby. I’d definitely come back!
The staff were very nice and friendly
There wasn’t a lock on the bedroom door so anyone could walk in and out all day. There are only 2 toilets on the 4th Floor and there’s a shower in each so its usually occupied with people showering.
It is really a budget place in London. Acceptably clean, staff is OK, location is great (5 min from Angel station where it is full with shops and bars). The basement is a spacious area where you can cook, eat, watch TV, work on your laptop, play. There is really space for everybody.
Lockers are extremely small and they are in the basement. You need your own padlock. They can fit a laptop and a book, not your backpack. Rooms are pretty small. Window blinds are hard to handle. You either open the window, either close the window blinds. Open window with blinds is not an option.
The Argentinian girl at the reception was extra kind and helpful. Located close to underground station.
There weren't enough safes in the room for each guest. So you had to keep your valuables inside a small safe in the kitchen. Bathrooms are clean at a certain time of the day only. My room was headed to the street, it was incredibly noisy. My food was stolen from the fridge, this is not the hostel to blame.
