A short walk away from sweeping sea vistas, our BnB certainly didn’t disappoint! From architecture to location. The entire place was spotless and the hosts exemplary. I can honestly say my vegetarian breakfast in the morning was simply sublime, the best I’ve ever tasted. Wonderful extras included homemade cake on arrival and a jar of tasty biscuits in the bedroom.
Such a friendly little hotel - we arrived to a little welcome snack, breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our three-night stay. Will definitely go back to stay here next time we're in Scotland.
Nothing that we did not like - but worth a note that the rooms are at the top of a short spiral staircase (or some of them are), worth considering if you have any accessibility issues. We do not, had a room at the top and loved it!!
Fabulous breakfast, very comfortable bed good off road parking.
Perfect hosts in Alison and Hugh who welcomed us into their beautiful home. We requested a twin room, which had a fabulous dual aspect of the picturesque town of Lossiemouth. Comfortable, cosy beds in warm rooms and an ensuite with luxury toiletries added a touch of luxury to our weekend stay, which had been arranged to attend a family wedding. A terrific breakfast menu offering choice from several porridge recipes and a very generous vegetarian menu, which included vegetarian haggis and toast with delicious homemade marmalade, make this the ideal retreat for non meat-eating diners. Carnivores can rest easy though as the breakfast menu options for meat lovers is just as considered. Alison and Hugh have considerable experience in the Food and Hospitality industry, which helps to explain their understanding of how guests want to be spoiled on holiday; during our stay we were treated to home-baked cake, cookies and fudge as well as our delicious breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble and we are already planning our return visit to this characterful building and warm, friendly hosts. Thank you Alison and Hugh! From Steph and Mark October, 2019.
