Pros: We liked the location and cleanliness.
Cons: We were expecting a room in the castle not in a cabin. The staff on duty that day was not friendly or helpful.
Pros: It's unique, but not taken care of very well. Have beautiful landscaping but lots of weeds.
Cons: Room was dirty, sofa is fraying on arm rests. After we used the Jacuzzi in the room, we found how dirty is was when we drained the water. And the bathroom had mold on the ceiling in the shower.
Pros: Unique facility Staff Excellent restaurant. Comfortable accomodations
Cons: Navigation to facility on unimproved roads and many road changes Prices are a bit high Lack of comfy chairs to use when not in bed
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and the views were all beautiful. It was a very relaxing get away.
Pros: The location is very secluded and peaceful. The grounds are immaculate with many picturesque spots to wonder around. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a large patio with a beautiful view of the castle. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Pros: Beautiful and scenic, everyone very nice, food was great and staff at restaurant very prompt and always smiling. Pool was nice, hot tub nice and apparently they have spa too. Pool table nice, nice exercise room. Tower has beautiful view and castle itself was really pretty.
Cons: Our room came with air conditioner and dehumidifier free standing units in the room. Gap in window that air conditioning unit was vented out to let bugs in room. Called for someone to fix, had to call again because no one showed up to do it. We stuffed washcloth in gap to temporarily fix. Maintenance man said he was never notified and came to tape shut in pouring rain. TV with direct TV only worked on one channel for one day and then quit working. Staff tried to fix but not successful. So we went without tv. We did get 10% coupon off breakfast the next day for the tv issue. They were going to give us DVD’s to watch but the DVD player didn’t work either. After it rained our floor by our fireplace, the carpet, was wet. That explained why we had a dehumidifier in our room. Patio was nice but deck above us had gaps in deck boards so when it rained we got wet. An umbrella was in some rooms but not ours and our picnic table did not have umbrella. Normally being on bottom deck would keep you dry with deck above you, but that was not the case for us. Maybe offering us a different room would have been best. For price we paid was disappointed with issues with room, but we made best of it. The property was beautiful but wouldn’t come back unless in actual castle. Our kids stayed in Stables and their rooms were very nice. For price, room dropped our score for this property to a 6. It is beautiful but not worth what we paid with all the issues with our room.
Pros: Wooded area
Cons: No pets allowed
Pros: Beauty. The size of my room
Cons: There were no exterior lights on the side of the building where my room was. That made it difficult to find my room. The carafe on the coffeemaker holds four cups, but the machine only holds two cups, so it made a mess when I filled it. There should be a bar to help with getting out of the whirlpool tub.
Pros: The restaurant was excellent from the staff to the food!! I was under the impression that we were staying in the castle for the price I paid.
Cons: Not staying in the castle
Pros: Beautiful location! Great friendly staff! So much to do on site.
Cons: The price was a little high for my budget. And there is no one at the office until 9am. So check out is a little rough if you're an early riser.

Pros: Friendly staff. The free breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Very thin walls. We could hear the people next door; talking, tv and then snoring! We got very little rest.
Pros: The breakfast was delicious. The hotel nice and quiet.
Cons: Could have been more updated.
Pros: Didn't breakfast as we only eat two meals a day when traveling. Did have coffee, and it was great.
Cons: The only comment I have is they stated they would e-mail the payment receipt and never received one. Other than that everything was fine.
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, location.
Cons: Nothing to not like.
Pros: Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Pros: It was clean, close to interstate, comfortable bed, and adequate breakfast. Would have enjoyed a piece of sausage for breakfast, but that’s just what I’ve become accustomed to.
Pros: Clean and well run.
Cons: Door latch was balky and two mentions of it over two days produced no action
Pros: Breakfast included, very friendly, good location.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Pros: Very clean hotel. Bathroom in good condition with plenty of towels. The lobby was so inviting and clean there was often large groups of people hanging around in it. Friendly staff.
Cons: My only complaint would be that we could smell cigarette smoke heavily in the hallway and a little in our room.
Pros: The bed was great
Pros: The pool and hot tub were unreal.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortably firm, pillows sucked, also found little bugs which prompted us to leave early before we even got our breakfast. Had to throughly clean all of our stuff on arrival home.

Pros: The place is just great the staff went out of there way to serve us. The food and atmosphere was awesome
Pros: Deep spa tub, massive shower, comfy bed, swivel rocker chair, great food, amazing staff who went above and beyond for us!
Pros: This B & B’s greatest asset was its employees. All friendly, helpful and happy. Rooms were decorated beautifully. Very clean. Would recommend highly.
Pros: Wonderful staff and great food at the restaurant down stairs and the B and B has a private side entrance so you can go upstairs without going through the front door and restaurant. Snacks, coffee, tea and drinks right outside your room door.
Cons: Would like to have a pulse shower head and a mini fridge with a freezer to re-freeze cooler packs.
Pros: Beautiful 100 year old mansion with quality updates & remodeling in a quaint small rural town. On-premises excellent restaurant. Friendly personable owner. Comfortable bed, nice room, squeaky clean, private bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. Outside veranda with quiet live music, dinner, & drinks. Second floor balcony with tables & chairs.
Cons: Truly - nothing. Parking could be easier during peak dining hours but is not an issue.
Pros: What a great place! Enjoyed the small town feel and the great service. We will be going back in June. Food, wine, service at restaurant were top notch! Room was very comfortable and clean. We go to the Mid Ohio Sports car course a couple times a year and will definitely be staying here each time!
Pros: The room decor is most attractive and the service was friendly and excellent. Coffee is available just outside the room which is especially nice for those who like to have a cup before going down to breakfast.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: The location and facility are top shelf! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The wine bar and restaurant are outstanding! I will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend this B&B to friends and family.
Cons: Loved everything about this B&B.

Pros: It was just lovely and exactly what we needed last minute. Great value as well. Cleanest bathrooms and overall cleanest Rooms I'd ever stayed in and comfortable. Thank you
Cons: coffee was outside the eating area, food was awful, cold and unappetizing. On the way to ohio we stopped at holiday inn express, wonderful bed, clean and good buffet breakfast
Pros: Great location and area was quiet even though it was geared toward mjds
Cons: Side door did not open with key card
Pros: The best thing about the whole place was actually the gravy on the breakfast bar. The biscuits were terrible, but the gravy was very tasty. Eggs were beyond weird. Look like fried, but were watery. Very strange. Pastries were mediocre at best. Waffles were good, but standard.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds. Whole place smelled funny, old. Very small rooms. WAY.overpriced. Only good thing was the pool, kids enjoyed that. The room the pool was in however was stifling hot and suffocating if you weren't swimming. I had to go outside to cool off. Will.not.be.going back. Lastly there was NO ELEVATOR to our room on the 2nd floor and we had to carry our bags and cooler up. For $140/night that is ridiculous. We have always enjoyed Comfort Inn and Suites in the past and have stayed at several in various States. This is BY FAR the worst one and the most expensive one.
Pros: Everything staff (front desk is awesome)
Cons: Family suit needs a tall trash can rather than that it was perfect
Pros: Nice people. Clean, not badly priced, great location
Cons: The pool room was too hot. Pillows were too stiff
Pros: Splash Harbor was very age appropriate for our group (2-7yrs old)
Cons: Not the properties fault but needs more restaurants nearby
Pros: The hotel was very clean and very nice ! The little water park was awesome and all of the employees were so friendly and accommodating! Even had nacho night for us and breakfast was fantastic !
Cons: We loved it all!
Pros: The bed was quite comfortable
Cons: There was used shampoo conditioner and soap in the bathtub
Pros: The pool area was great.
Cons: My family was told to leave the pool at 11am the day of checkout. This was the first time I have ever been told that we could not swim after checking out of a hotel room. Even the large indoor water parks like Great Wolf allow you to stay.
Pros: We always bring our grandchildren with us to visit and they love the swimming area, the rooms and of course, the food. It's a win win setting for us! The location isn't far from where we lived formerly in Mansfield. We come from Strongsville now just to give the kids fun time. We raise our grandchildren.
Cons: Nothing it was all great!
Pros: The pool area was great. Lots of activities for the kids. Comfortable water temps. You can take food into the pool area which is always nice with small children. The rooms are nice. Included everything we needed. There’s even a small arcade area. The entire facility is well maintained.
Cons: The beds aren’t comfortable. My only complaint for the whole stay. Everything else was amazing! An elevator to the second floor to get our stuff to our room would be nice but we managed.

Pros: In a beautiful setting with lots of nearby attractions within an hours drive. If you don't want to drive anywhere that is fine too. The indoor pool is nice, the restaurant on site is nice. There is a game room for kids. There is a serenity area for just relaxing, meditating, reading and lots of big comfortable chairs spread about for lazing around and enjoying the beauty of the place and the outdoors through all the large beautiful windows.
Pros: The staff were very accommodating and friendly! All around we felt very relaxed. The food was very good and the bar was well stocked! The restaurant and bartenders all made you feel welcome and relaxed. Mentioned it was my wife's birthday and in no time they brought her a card and piece of birthday pie! That set a very nice atmosphere to start a memorable stay.Thank you very much!
Cons: Needed better upkeep on pool tables i.e. Chalk and cue sticks. Room patio need mold pressure washed off!
Pros: It's a beautiful place and convenient to where we live
Cons: The staff made it very obvious they do not like their job.
Pros: Love the location!
Cons: Manager Larry did not come out to talk with me when my bank notified me I had fraudulent charges on my credit card. Larry told the desk staff to tell me Mohican did NOT charge my credit card, so I told the bank they were fraudulent charges. Turns out, it was the deposit after all. The manager the next morning was very polite and informative. Also, the wait for the restaurant was extremely long.
Pros: Views, breakfast (fried apples), walk to lake with gazebos
Cons: Bugs in room, did not get the location of room requested.
Cons: Breakfast doesn't start until 8:00, which made it impossible for us to use because we were due elsewhere by 7:00. Would have been nice to have at least a grab and go option for early risers.
Pros: Ian, the desk clerk was exceptionally helpful and courteous.
Pros: The property was beautiful. The pool was clean. There was plenty of activities for my three children, 10, 8 and 6.
Cons: The firepit next to huge light. The light attracted the bugs.
Pros: The outdoor pool was nice. The girl that checked us in was friendly
Cons: Beds were old and uncomfortable. The food in restaurant was over cooked. Oil needed to be changed
Pros: We went hiking. It was wonderful.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Dated,but a good place
Pros: It was close to where we wanted to be.
Cons: The desk attendant was quite rude and nasty. She acted like taking care of us was a chore. We had 2 extra people that we were willing to pay for, and she told me "you WILL pay for the extras!". Um, yea, we said that. Wouldn't recommend it at all.
Pros: I was honestly a little worried just because of the location and how little it was. Joked around saying we would be staying with Norman Bates but oh my goodness it was great! My fiance and I went to a wedding at Landolls castle and was recommended to stay here. It was stop 3 in another room for a busy weekend of ours and it was the best stay out of all 3 nights. It's close to the castle and Mohican campgrounds, and it's affordable!
Pros: We were met with warm hospitality. We will visit again soon.
Pros: Free Wi-fi. A/C system is old but functions perfectly well. Continental breakfast is bagels, bread, cereal, etc. but better than nothing. TV is updated, and cable comes in well.
Cons: It is a little dated as far as decor and amenities.
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: They are not bicycle or pet friendly.
Pros: location and how clean it was.
Pros: Location is very convenient. The woman who runs the motel is very friendly and knowledgeable. Continental breakfast is provided. Refrigerator and microwave in each room.
Cons: The outlets in our room (107) need replaced--Our cell phone and iPad chargers kept falling out of the outlets. The carpets could use replacing.
Pros: It was very close to the event we were attending. The price was reasonable.
Cons: The staff is not present between 11pm and 8 am, so if you have any questions, problems, or needs you are on your own. Figure it out yourself! The breakfast was cold cereal, bagels or English muffins, and packaged pastries. Which was meh. About average.
Pros: Hotel is in a great location. Staff was friendly and the room was exceptionally clean!! The beds were comfortable, and the room included a mini fridge and microwave. There are so many things to do in that area. Would stay there again for sure.
Cons: The curtains were threadbare and it was very bright in the room and hard to sleep.
Pros: It was very close to everything, clean, and easily accessible.
Cons: There was no one there to greet us when we arrived like there would be at any other hotel/motel, but other than that I have no complaints.
