Pros: The location is perfect, view on the river. Breakfast is very good. The personnel and the staff are excellent, very friendly, and they read your questions, so you not have to ask ! This is in my opinion one of the places to stay in Luang Prabang. For me as a frequent traveller this resort is the best I ever visited.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From arrival to departure everything perfect! The team on spot is eager to fulfill all guest needs and requests. The rooms are beautifully decorated, WiFi very fast and the pool just leaves you breathless and makes the perfect holiday. Would book here again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Love the pool area! Will be my first choice of hotel when i visit Luang Prabang again!
Cons: location is not very close to town area but it's manageable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The staff were lovely. The pool was much bigger than it looked online and the resort was colonial in style and very leafy. Lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed a cocktail by the pool! We borrowed bikes to cycle into town over the French bridge. The bikes had a child seat for our 4 year old. If it was really hot then we took the free shuttle into town. Highly recommend this hotel. We could see Mount Phousi from our balcony.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great experience!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms. Staff really friendly and helpful especially in booking restaurants and activities. The pool is fabulous and enjoyed using the bikes to go sightseeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel fantastic staff
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great pool, lovely staff and service
Cons: The bicycle wasn’t comfortable to ride
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Too many mosquitoes... but that was how Luang Prabang was
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gorgeous property tastefully made and decorated, extreme levels of comfort and hospitality. The staff is exemplary and make you really feel like family- On at the reception, Manager Chanh, the boys at the breakfast room, poolside- everyone takes pride in their hospitality and you can feel it. We were upgraded to a stunning room, but even if we hadn’t, the staff by itself would have made this a perfect experience. Room was well appointed and equipped. Super helpful staff, no request was too much, and always smiling. This is an establishment that the owners should be proud of. Location is right next to the old French bridge and about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk into old town. Plenty eating places within a short walk. The shuttle service was great too because of the hot days. With the mighty Mekong running right next to us, it was a beautiful setting at breakfast. Thank you for the set dinner, it was delicious and much appreciated!
Cons: WiFi didn’t quite reach our room by the pool, but really we shouldn’t have been looking for internet in a place like this :)

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The jungle feel, very authentic experience. The bungalows were beautiful and the breakfast was yummy.
Cons: The wifi constantly dropped out. I would recommend that a stronger system is installed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would definitely recommend the riverside bungalow. The views are gorgeous and it's very private and peaceful. Breakfast is huge and delicious and there's a lot to choose from. The bungalow is very big and comfortable. Free water refills, free bikes, free shuttle to the center, a refreshing pool and friendly smiles are other perks of this place.
Cons: I liked it all
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast excellent and extensive Location is perfect on the river slightly out of town. Use a free bike to go back and forward
Cons: The weather-- but it was ok enough....
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at a riverside bungalow here: the surroundings and the garden provide a stunning setting; all staff were helpful and made special efforts to make us feel at home; the room is spacious, super clean, and stylish. Breakfast is served on the patio of the bungalow; and there is a regular shuttle service to/ from the center of town.
Cons: If you don't mind a location outside the peninsula heart of town and if the price does not provide an obstacle, then I can see no drawbacks (perhaps with the exception of the mediocre wifi connection inside our bungalow at the edge of the hotel).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bungalows on the river with private balcony. Breakfast served their daily. Very friendly staff. Free buses to and from the centre of town.
Cons: There's no tv if that bothers you but otherwise I loved it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cabins overlooking the river were private and it was lovely getting breakfast on the balcony. The breakfast was AMAZING. Free bicycles for use (which I used every day) and free shuttle to/from town. Everything was super clean and the staff were lovely.
Cons: They could have offered more information about things to do in town and also practical advice about seeing by waterfalls. They said flip flops would be enough (but you definitely need covered shoes if you want to climb up)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was peaceful, a bit further outside of Luang Prabang then I anticipated. But the Guesthouse has a free shuttle service which worked really well for getting in and out of town. The bungalows are charming, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is a nice size with a good functioning shower. Breakfast is served on the private terrace of your bungalow. The quality and quantity of the food was good with a nice mix of fresh fruits, bread, eggs and even noodle soup. The people are lovely and go out of their way to help you. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: The only minor things are not really the fault of the guesthouse, like the wifi not being strong enough at times. And in June Laos is extremely hot so in the daytime the air-conditioning and fan in the bungalows have a hard time keeping it cool. Though at night the temperature indoors was cool enough to sleep.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too hard for them. The breakfast was fantastic and delivered to your room punctually. Great choices should suit anybody. The gardens were lovely and the view from the balcony was great. Out of town a little bit but only 5 minutes in the courtesy bus. Also free use of bicycles was fun. would highly recommend.
Cons: Couldn't really fault this place. The pool was across the lane but that wasn't a problem. The pool was pristine. Only issue was that you couldn't really walk to town but it didn't bother us.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Thongbay with a friend and Could not have been more satisfied with the guest house. Our bungalow overlooked a beautiful garden and every morning we had a delicious breakfast on the porch. The staff was incredibly helpful and organized transportation throughout Luang Prabang for the whole stay. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a huge plus!
Cons: The location is a bit far from the center of town, but they do have a free shuttle that runs several times during the day. It would have been nice to have had a little more flexibility in terms of our ability to get into the main part of town, but we made it work!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were delicious and stuffs were kind. Everything is clean. There are a lot of green, and it's near liver. I really relaxed with beautiful environment.
Cons: Some geckos came in our room. They are not dangerous but I felt scared a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff location breakfast found a secret hideaway that we will never forget staff beautiful
Cons: Everything was wonderful

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere and its greenery was superb.
Cons: The aircon in the room needs overhaul.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Satri House. The hotel itself is full of charm and really comfortable. It's location is ideal too : walking distance to the town centre and if you want to borrow some bicycles, it is only a short ride to the many temples and restaurants. The staff is absolutely lovely and everything is done with a smile. We felt pampered, special and so relaxed during our stay. We could have stayed there forever.
Cons: What is there not to like? Nope, can't find anything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attention from staff was excellent--Robert, the manager was so friendly, helpful & informative. The gardens & pools were peaceful & serene. Breakfast --great tasty selection
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and being at this hotel is really peaceful and relaxing. We loved the bikes they had available for use. We really appreciated the complimentary late check out!
Cons: The air conditioner is positioned in a way to blow very hard (even on low) directly on you in bed. Thankfully the mosquito net provided a slight buffer. For safety, it would be great if the bikes also had lights for use at night.

Cons: Coffee at breakfast was ok, but not great. Disappointing that some items ran out well before breakfast finished. Don't expect working brakes on the free bicycles.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Location, service, staff and breakfast, all outstanding. The hotel grounds are impeccable, the lotus ponds are gorgeous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gardens and ponds within this hotel were the most beautiful tropical paradise and the nicest surprise. We stayed in the cheapest room and it was comfortable and lovely even though it didn't have an outdoor seating area. We stayed another two nights in a Heritage room and it was exactly the same but had a bath and outdoor seats, so you'll be happy no matter how much you pay. The breakfast.. AMAZING! Pool area great for reading during the day. The spa treatments were professional and relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything a great stay highly recommend this hotel

Cons: Nothing really. The WiFi in our room was a bit weak but I didn’t go to Laos for the Internet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very calm and relaxing hotel with beautiful lotus ponds and an excellent restaurant. Great location as was an easy walk into the centre.

An abundance of fresh fruit at breakfast accompanied by a well calculated selection of cooked breakfast choices, served on a lovely verandah above the river; what a grand way to start the day. We had a King Room with Balcony and River View offering superb panoramic views that changed constantly throughout the day and with the weather. I'd strongly recommend reservng such a room. The resort features the most complete facilities in Luang Prabang with three swimming pools, a secluded spa and lakefront restaurant. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff Modern fittings in the rooms Excellent food options at the hotel restaurant Frequent shuttle service to the city
Cons: NA
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast is top notch and one of the best I've ever seen in a resort. Beware when booking on booking.com that it will come up with breakfast or you will have to pay $12 per person per day for it like we did.
Cons: The internet is just bad period, it rarely worked and the hotel staff wanted to send someone to our room to show us how to connect to the internet 3days after being there. Also, they will try and make you take their tuk-tuks and taxis to town, we hate that kind of travel and love to do our own thing, we walked to the road and caught our own rides for just a few dollars.
6.8 Good
Pros: The property it's self and the service of se staff - Rowan and Hugo.
Cons: No service at the pool - drinks and food near impossible to order. In the end over 2 hours at the pool with no drinks - had to walk to reception to ask for service, still took another hour after this. Toliet didn't flush in the room, overflowed first night. During rain advised to walk back from restaurant, as there was no buggy available (there was) - we got drenched while staff stayed dry. Ordered additional towels with room service - never arrived.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great gardens, Kind staffs, Large pools, Amazing restaurant.
Cons: There was no barbell at the gym, but a smith machine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome stay, clean, riding the bike around the property, pool life, combined with rice fields and view of mountains, gym was up to date, workmanship, but the staff go the extra mile, soo polite, helping and greeting. shout out to the GM female, Thony and Rohan helped out a lot. decent prices for tours via private driver if you ask the guys at the desk...the lifts from rooms using the buggy
Cons: had blackouts at night, aircon cut out a few times, aircon cutting out I thought it wasn't strong enough...there was a roof fan. bar fridge wasn't cold. Bit for from town, so 50k cost to or from town if you don't get the schedule lift from Pullman
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing huge room. Lovely staff. Great pool and nice restaurant. Everything oozed 5 star but incredibly friendly. Good location close to the town with nice grounds and very quiet and peaceful. Luang Prabang a wonderful destination but we spent many of our afternoon s and evenings at the hotel as it was so nice
Cons: Can’t think of anything
8.3 Excellent
Pros: great hotel with huge area to walk, spend time relaxing, 2 big pools and other private areas staff is from high quality standard equal to 5* - Staff management and restaurant Chef were very friendly
Cons: A bit far from the city center, free shuttles should be in higher frequency to allow more movement flexibility Aircon in heater mode does not work... a bit cold during fresh nights when i stayed there
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was almost perfect, i saw a few of the 5 star hotels in luang prabang, pullman is definitely the best. It looks stunning, because its outside the city center (unlike the other 5 star hotels), the property is large, beautiful and very relaxing.
Cons: They can only improve slightly on a few minor things, the wifi should be faster and the hotel has only 1 restaurant, for a hotel this large, the pullman should have atleast 1 or 2 more restaurant options. However the food at the 1 restaurant they have is very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing! The rooms are new and clean, very spacious, pools were nice as well. Very satisfied with breakfast - a lot of Eastern/Western cuisine choices. Super appreciate the mosquito solution they spray around the territory - I always get bitten to half-death by mosquitos in South East Asia, but not this time. Yoga, Thai boxing, SPA activities can be booked during stay. The staff were super helpful, helped us arrange transportation at all times, and the city center hotel shuttle is very convenient too. The hotel territory is very spacious, so you rarely even meet other guests. Waterfalls are a half hour shuttle ride away, same as the city center. Superb scenery too - mountains, rice terraces and serenity. Excellent experience all around and highly recommended!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s so good. This is my first time in pullman ,I think it's really comfortable. The staff of the hotel is very considerate. The environment of the hotel is very beautiful.

Cons: If you are of light sleep, make sure you have a good wine glass before going to bed as you will hear noise from outside and walking within the hotel. Honestly, not the worst of things for us, and def not to miss the opp of staying here.

Cons: A swimming pool would be nice but is impossible at this location.

Pros: The friendly service.
Cons: It would be even better if there was a swimming pool on site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful. I loved my stay! A gorgeous hotel, comfortable, a great location, and very friendly staff. They also gave great tips for how to best participate in the alms ceremony and other tips (the guide they have in the rooms is really helpful). Plus the free bikes and sunset cruise are lovely perks!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. The road along the Mekong River is much more quiet than the road along the Nam Khan. The staff are excellent—very friendly and professional. Breakfast overlooking the river is fresh and delicious. We stayed in room Mango 4. It was lovely and spacious.
Cons: It would be great if they always had a fluent English-speaker at the front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality Exceptional Staff Convenient Location
Cons: Quality of housekeeping could be better to make it perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent boutique hotel in a lush tropical setting. Nicely restored French period facility with all the modern amenities. Exceptional resturant for breakfast and dinner. Heĺpful and friendly staff. Quiet location within easy walking distance the center of town. A great stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel. Just outside of the main area so a nice walk into town. Fantastic service from the staff. It was my birthday and they delivered a lovely little cake to our room. The facilities were excellent with locally made soap provided, along with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We are planning on returning and I would book this hotel again. Our deal had a 2 way transfer to the airport which worked very well and removed that stress of the transfer.
Cons: Everything was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its location is perfect for biking (or walking) to the sights, the staff are very helpful and always happy to make recommendations, the guest relations manager Elodie makes everyone feel at home, and the property itself is a small delightful gem of a place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The first morning we chose from the buffet breakfast but after that we were offered the menu to choose from. We're not sure why this changed but all of the choices were still available so it made no difference to us. Our room was outstanding, we stayed in room 6 and we can full recommend it. The swimming pool and the room's shower were especially good after a day of sightseeing!! All staff were always courteous, smiling and happy to practice their English. They made our stay very pleasant especially Elodie the Customer Relations Manager who went out of her way to be helpful and kind. We booked a couple of tours through the hotel at reasonable prices and even though the driver didn't speak much English he was very obliging. All in all a wonderful hotel and a very enjoyable stay!
Cons: The hotel is sprayed once a month (we think it's once but we could be wrong) for any bugs or nasties. However our stay fell just before the end of the month spraying and I got bitten a few times by the pool. It probably would have been far worse if they didn't spray. They also provide insect spray in the rooms and natural insect repellent. In fact the rooms are very well equipped.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely small hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was roomy and comfortable. There was a spa but we did not have time to use it. The hotel was a ten-minute walk to the middle of town. The town itself was clean and well laid out. The many Buddhist temples were must-see and the town location on the banks of the Mekong river made a river journey something that had to be done.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. From the exceptional service and welcome at check in to allowing us to use the facilities after check out due to a late flight, the staff here go above and beyond. We stayed a week in Luang Prabang and the entire time at Vila Maly after a 3 week stint around Vietnam. Breakfast was a standout as it’s not a buffet you are give a selection of 4 kinds of breakfast and the choices are prepared and delivered fresh to your table, if your lucky (as we were) the Chef will come for a chat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, close to the center of town but far enough away for privacy. Staff was very attentive and pool was gorgeous.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the free use of bikes and the friendly staff. They gave everything a really personal touch. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Nothing about the property or staff we could fault at all, the only minor thing was that we would have liked the western TV channels in to be available in English language.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, in a calmer street but super close to main street. Lovely buildings and rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, good English. Great breakfast and capacity to adapt to allergies and food requirements.
Cons: The wifi was weak and kicking us out regularly. Bad soundproofing. Was hard to fall asleep certain evenings because of doors slamming, people talking loudly in other rooms, music on the streets. And in the morning we would get waken up pretty early by the house keeping staff talking and more doors slamming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to almost everything. Close to the Mekong River and many cafes, bars and restaurants where you can overlook the river and watch The Sunset.
Cons: Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Pros: The hotel has great staff, excellent breakfast, very elegant design in room, and very good quality of furniture and beds. Pool, although seems small is indeed very nice. It is a place that I would like to visit again!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, quiet, very friendly staff, felt very safe which was important because our daughters were in the room next door, great pool which we often had to ourselves, the restaurant is open all day and the prices are comparable to restaurants near the night market, excellent breakfast with many choices, 10-12 minute walk to the old town but also has a free shuttle, the hotel has recos for drivers to Kuang Si and will arrange for guests (the price is in the typical range), an airport shuttle is free if guests have an extended stay at the hotel.

6.3 Good
Pros: The room was very clean. Free drinking water was good in the heat. The air con was also very good in the room.
Cons: The breakfast was not very good at all. My wife ordered vegetarian breakfast and the food came out with bacon, ham and sausages. When she repeated her order the same food came back with the meat removed. There was still meat juices all over everything else. We didn't eat there again.

Pros: well maintained, quiet and beautiful hotel with spacious suites and great view. good for a couple. all staffs and managers are friendly and attentive. we also appreciated the quality of breakfast!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and wellcoming staff. Beautiful views
Cons: Didn’t like the bathroom very much. Showering in the bathtub not very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have never thought I would ever give a hotel 10/10 and here we go! - Beautiful colonial-style property in the middle of the jungle - extremely quite and private, yet a stone throw to the vibrant city center of Luang Prabang (10-15 minutes walk, 5 min by bicycle which they have for free). Amazing facilities, including 24/7 infinity pool, on-site restaurant with local cuisine, bar with signature cocktails, great gym, fantastic spa (I got the second 60 min massage for free!) with another beautiful pool (much cooler than infinity one) and sauna, not mentioning the rooms with incredible views and attention to every little detail. - Constant, but completely invisible and not annoying attention from the staff who all know your name and anticipate your every need and desire: i was gently notified in the morning that my table is ready for breakfast, was kindly reminded about my spa procedures during the day, the moment i sat down at any place of the hotel a cocktail and a variety of snacks appeared mysteriously by my side, my whole bunch of clothes was taken to the laundry and came back in a couple of hours smelling like heaven and they even repaired my torn jacket without any request from me. They gave me a handcrafted scarf as a goodbye gift during the check-out.. Cherry on the pie - half way through to the airport i asked the hotel's driver to make a quick stop at Mekong river as i hadn't got a chance to go to the town during my stay. Guess what? I received a 25-minutes private guided tour across the town instead. This is what I call a client-oriented approach! - I was lucky to be visiting the hotel during the low season - at the busiest time of my stay only 4 rooms were occupied and I never saw another person while exploring the hotel's territory, which was an amazing experience itself!
Cons: It will be great to have sockets a bit closer to the bed, but this is the only tiny thing i could think of!
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location Nice boutique hotel Staff View
Cons: Be aware that this hotel is not in an area but includes some separate properties (ie: swimming pool is quite far from the reception, some rooms can be away ~100-200-300 m from the reception and restaurant, you have to go across the road to reach the restaurant...) so it could cause some inconvenience

Pros: Amazing pearl in the beautiful city of Luang Prabang! Mr. Urban and his lovely team created a wonderful atmosphere and special place to relax and enjoy life! The little restaurant where the breakfast is served gives a stunning view on the Mekong. The food is great and at night time you‘ll enjoy your dinner in the light of little lanterns. The rooms are great and the team is willing to make everything possible!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The design was beautiful
Cons: The pool was over the river, over a horribly rickety bridge which you had to pay 10k kip to cross.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location on the river. Rooms are nice with outside space not all have river views but they are lovely as is the location of the hotel. The breakfasts are terrific and the seating is on the river with lovely views. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Pros: The location was amazing, just in front of the morning market and close to all attractions including the night market. The breakfast was good and you can eat it outside and watch how busy the morning market gets. Hot water, comfortable bed, and wonderful staff. Definitely recommend staying here.
Cons: I was located on the bottom floor next to the kitchen and public restroom so it would get loud in the morning. Also the wifi wasn't that great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean and beautiful facilities, WONDERFUL staff (huge thanks especially to Quang and Thai!) who accommodated our weird schedule and our many many questions, delicious breakfasts complete with a smoothie and fruit platter. Mostly, I cannot rave enough about the staff, they made sure we were comfortable and looked after, every time you see them they have a big smile on their face and they always have answers to your questions!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast and reception!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very new or renovated hotel, comfortable and clean, breakfast was great too
Cons: It said the rooms are soundproof which they are not at all. People get up early (4:30am) and you hear each door opening and closing. I was there for work and it was quite annoying as I needed my sleep to be productive. I’d recommend the property to put some Schock dampers between door and frame to avoid the banging.

Pros: in the middle of everything
Cons: breakfast could be better

Pros: elegant hotel with beautiful gardens and setting. the staffs are friendly and attentive. the manager even brought us for a new year ceremony with local monks which was amazing and quite an experience for us as foreigners. and their breakfast got excellent quality as we don't value quantity.
Cons: we saw another guest smoking at the restaurant during our breakfast which ruined our quality time and clean morning air as well. prefer the whole hotel to be smoke-free otherwise please make one particular corner, away from the restaurant, for smokers.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. ESP Vard at the reception.
Cons: Same breakfast everyday
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, wonderful staff. Very friendly, lovely area. We did a cooking class which was fantastic - manymthanks to the chef, John, who was amazing. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Received a very warm welcome by the staff and we were greeted with some cold towel and iced drink before getting a tour of the hotel complex and our room. The hotel is perfectly posh and tranquil and we really can't find any fault with it. The room has everything you would need, is spotlessly clean, and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed ever. There was also a complimentary foot massage upon arrival, to our pleasant surprise. The service by the staff was also impeccable and we were very pleased with our stay! Highly recommended if you are visiting Luang Prabang!
Cons: The hotel is some distance away from old town but there's an option to rent a free bike and there is also free hotel shuttle service at certain timings. Toilet could really use a bidet spray but it's not a big issue.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and limited parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: staffs are friendly. Location is good.
Cons: At the back of the building is too close to others. not privacy. we cannot see anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings and perfect location.
6.3 Good
Pros: Colonial period room decor evocative of the charm and romance during those times. Hotel has an excellent laid-back atmosphere that allows you to while your time away on its premises or by the river in the lower terrace. Lovely spa on premises. Breakfast comes with a daily special that offers variety and a taste of local flavors. Menu served by the restaurant is limited but of decent quality.
Cons: Was given a room on the ground floor that afforded little privacy since tourists and vehicles abound. The windows have to be left open for light to enter the room. Closing the windows gave more privacy but darkened the room considerably. As the room was very near the roadside, it was noisy whenever vehicles passed which happened very frequently throughout the morning and evenings. Service was overall patchy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel provided a different cultural experience everyday, Almsgiving, market visit and cooking class, sunset cruise, cocktails and staff went out of their way to make these comfortable, educational and enriching. Food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the lunch we had on arrival, very fresh, exquisitely prepared and presented. Breakfast was delightful with the special of the day, a local speciality as well as eggs to order, yogurt, fruit, a variety of breads. We were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the river, such a wonderful view of trees, plants and butterflies. The room was spacious, the wood so traditional, yet the shower in the room itself unusually modern in the French style. Coconut - based toiletries gave us a taste of the traditional materials in Lao culture, the kettle and provided chamomile tea were very welcome. The effort to reduce waste is also very good as we noticed that the use of plastic is minimal. Most of all, the kind and caring staff made us feel special and that they valued our visit and enjoyed sharing their culture with us.
Cons: Lighting could be brighter at the mirrors as the shadows prevented us from seeing our faces clearly. We just assumed there was a pool but understand that the Unesco restriction doesn't permit it. Maybe a bathtub is preferable to a shower for a soak in the hot weather?
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent as it is walking distance for all the sights. The hotel has bikes which are an excellent way to get around. We crossed to the other side of the river and explored a bit of the countryside. The staff are absolutely charming. The hotel is lovely and Luang Prabang has a wonderful calm energy.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amaxing! Good breakfast. Very relaxed and elegant environment.
Cons: The shower water was very frustrating! It kept changing from very hot to cold. Made having a shower a disappointing experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Style, spa, staff, location
Cons: Bathroom not separated from the sleeping area of the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really friendly and the location was great. There were lots of activities available such as the cooking class and Alms giving.
Cons: I didn’t like the open bathroom style personally. Also our room was quite dark and it was confusing to figure out which switch turned off which light.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The design of the room was great. Good location facing Nang Khan river. Breakfast wad great as well as staff were very friendly.
Cons: Bathroom was too dark.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room and facilities in general. Very good breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and I was very pleased by the staff. Mr. Sone went out of his way to help me retrieve a credit card lost in the local ATM. Many thanks to him and the rest of the staff
Cons: Everything was great
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy and content. There was an excellent spa on site.
Cons: I can think of nothing that we didn’t like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: 5-star service
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and attentive staff
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This was our third stay and it was every bit as good if not better than the first two. We had a large room with big bed covered with mosquito netting. The bathroom was modern but the hotel was wooden and felt like something from the early 20th century. The staff kept it clean. We had a terrace overlooking the garden. The breakfasts were excellent both western and Laotian.
Cons: Not much. Staff smoothed over any wrinkles.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, great location and good breakfast
Cons: The wind from air-condition did not reach to bed, I was feeling hot when sleep in bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel, perfectly situated within walking distances of loads of beautiful temples, both the Mekong and the Nam khan rivers and the National museum/royal palace. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful Room was spotless and bed was really comfortable Breakfast was delicious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: While traveling and working in Asia for three decades, I never rated hotels. But 3 Nagas Hotel must be an exception. In my eyes it is the uniquest boutique hotel in the region. By arriving I was a bit disappointed that there is no pool. But I had to learn, no pools allowed in down-town Luang Prabang due to UNESCO-rules . However, the arrangement being able to swim at the near-by (10 min tuktuk-drive) Sofitel sister-hotel is a real plus! (25 m pool) Outstanding management. Perfect breakfast and very, very nice staff. Mr. Souk was superb! Good value for money. Great stay!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Superb food at the restaurant. Warm welcome.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Souk the breakfast guy remembered me and my coffee order from my last trip. A great team friendly and easygoing.
Cons: Can be a bit noisy because of location but aside from that wouldn’t change a thing.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: This was our fourth trip and every bit as good as the other times we had hoped and requested rooms we'd had before but the staff worked to find us one as good. The staff bends over to make the stay momorable and succeeded. Recommended highly.
Cons: Not much. Food was better than last time. The hotel used to have a small shop but that's gone. I had bought great gifts in the past.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and staff. But there is plenty more hotels in this area with the same and more. Cheaper.
Cons: Just not up to scratch.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The General Manager who is in charge of the Sofitel and this property was charming.
Cons: There were discrepancies or should I say a large differential in prices the hotel quoted and what was available. For example transfer to/from the hotel was @ USD 22 whereas available rate was @ USD 8/10 one way and similarly for the excursions / tours. I can understand such differences in other developed countries but not Laos. Food / cuisine also quite expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel, beautiful decor, very good food and service, wonderful location!

Pros: Very good location staff very friendly. Very nice hotel beside the namkhan and mainly quiet. My room on the second floor has a balcony overlooking the river Thank you very much for everything we will come back next year
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Though it would be great if we had more vegan options for breakfast. Overall the place is amazing and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude, arrogant and unfriendly staff. Description of the room and equipment inconsistent with reality (no desk, radio, seating area, toaster, bidet, coffee maker, table, nests near the bed, bed curtain and others). The welcome was to be wine / shamapn - none. It was to be a room on the ground floor overlooking a quiet street or internal courtyard - it was on the first floor overlooking the dingy metal roofs of neighboring buildings. Despite giving the check-out time (12.00 PM) at 11.30 PM - the rooms were already prepared for the next guests and there was a problem with the entrance). At check-out the staff made a row that the bedding was too dirty and a surcharge of $ 50 was required for its destruction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good ambiance, nice room and decor, gracious and courteous service from staff.
Cons: some light bulbs were burnt out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to town and river staff very friendly and helpful could not have been happier
Cons: Great staff

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and super clean swimming pool!
Cons: Internet speed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, swimming pool, cozy atmosphere, quietness, place for a small walk inside or just chatting in a hotel garden.
Cons: Liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice for the price point. The pool was clean and very nice. It's is incredibly hot and humid, and having a pool retreat was great. We swam morning, noon, and night just to cool off. AC worked great too. We had 2 rooms- the standard twin and the deluxe room. The deluxe room was considerably bigger and nicer than the standard twin. The restaurant served good food, and was convenient. The staff were very helpful and nice, and spoke excellent english.
Cons: The location was a bit of a disappointment. It's just far enough away so that it's a bit of a walk to and from the main part of town, and in the heat, was a barrier to going back and forth more than once per day. We'd arrive in town drenched in sweat from the walk--even though its not far. Also, the bamboo bridge was quaint to cross, but it can be washed out in the rainy season, and without that bridge the walk is considerably further. We did borrow the bikes, but they're pretty beat up and most don't have working brakes. There are no tuktuks near, so the hotel has to call you one, which takes about 15 min to arrive, also slightly inconvenient. Overall, you save a bit of money being on the other side of the river, but it's a slight inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely size pool and clean! Towels were also provided! Comfortable bed Nice powerful shower Friendly staff Liked the location as it was accessible to the town but out the way enough Free bikes to use - was such a nice touch
Cons: I didn’t have the breakfast included so can not comment on it
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was the highlight: amazing freshly prepared meals along with the standard breakfast food and drinks. Location is a bit out of downtown but it’s nice (it takes only 5/10 mins to reach downtown by bike/ motorbike) and you can enjoy a bit more of the locals live. You can enjoy the alms giving ceremony every morning just outside of the door.
Cons: The facilities are quite dated and would need some renovations. Pool is good, but sun-beds & towels are quite old too. Staff is ok but let’s say .. could be nicer, not really customer oriented. Free bicycle rentals BUT always check the breaks twice as I found most of them broken :(
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Wifi is not working at all inside of the room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is simply amazing. I 'm very happy with my choice! Everything is perfect from the beginning to the end. Every time we entered in the main hall, we could smell a delicious frangipani fragrance in the air <3 The location is quiet, the atmosphere is relaxing, everything is so clean! The staff is so kind and willing to help if you need information or anything else, they are really at your disposal. Breakfast was delicious! My friend loved the croissant and I loved the scrambled eggs. The only sad thing is that I spent only 4 nights there :)
Cons: nothing! it was perfect

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. Perfect situated hotel and a very good restaurant. Friendly staff.
3.1 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel had no record of my confirmed and paid booking when I arrived. I showed them my confirmation and payment record, and after puzzling over it for an hour they shuttled me to their "resort" far out of town without apology. I was put in what must have been an overflow room that smelled like sewage. They refused to offer any refund and said that I had to take it up with the website. I was stranded there and forced to eat at the overpriced resort restaurant because it was late and there was no way back. The next morning, after a long wait, I was moved back to a room at the main hotel, again without apology. The room I was placed in was entirely average and the internet did not work. Luang Prabang is a lovely city, but I lost half of my two days there dealing with this hotel and its incompetent staff. Location is the only upside, but there are plenty of lovely looking guesthouses in town that I have no doubt would offer a superior experience for 1/4 the price.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Villa Santi has the PERFECT location in Luang Prabang. It's an stunning hotel that was refurbished. The breakfast and coffee did the job. And it was nice that we could go to the resort to use the pool. Overall the place was a great stay.
Cons: This hotel is probably one of the nicer ones in LP. A couple things that aren't even dislikes just general comments - the temple gongs go off each morning around 5AM so if you're a light sleeper take note and bring ear plugs. The shuttle they offer to and from the hotel and resort doesn't have great times so we ended up paying $5 for our own taxi's each way. The staff in general seemed to be disconnected and our requests weren't always communicated. Lastly we had ants in our bathroom that wouldn't go away.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the complimentary dinner.
Cons: Breakfast was not included.
6.8 Good
Pros: good location, close to main street
Cons: Reception effectiveness is poor. Swimming pool is not located in the hotel. If you are located on the 2nd floor in the other side of the yard, stairs are so steep for senior people. Need to pay 3% surcharge when using credit card.
