Pros: Great hosts, great location, the food was amazing (prepared with style directly by the hosts). The location very good and quiet. Big, clean and warm rooms. Congratulations!!!
Cons: Not the case
Pros: Everything! The hosts were very warm and had shown plenty of interest in our needs and pur well-being. The mansion looks amazing and well-thought in terms of decoration and overall aspect, not to mention the extreme cleaniness, no sight of any sort of stain in the whole house, including the room. We stayed in 'Paris', which is a double bed room with a lovely design, very cozy and 'foreign' at the same time, to say so. The food was MAGNIFIQUE, thanks to the chef, who has a passion for making food and great interest in our likes and dislikes and/or food allergies (I am severely lactose intolerant and I had no digestive issues after I ate) we got to try the best food in Sarata Monteoru. With a delicious breakfast included, we also indulged in a scrumptious 3 course lunch. I almost never eat my plate clean, but when the meals were so delicious, both me and my partner could not help ourselves! The pool is also very nice, with a relaxing jacuzzi in the morning we felt totally deconnected from the world. Overall, we loved our stay and we are DEFINITELY going there again.
Cons: Unfortunately, we wish that we could've stayed for a longer time, there is really nothing bad I can say about this place.
Pros: the view
Cons: the fact that the proprietors are in your back at every move that you make and we can not enter in the villa without them to open the gate. The bed was stick to the wall and very tall.
Pros: We were really surprised about how cool our stay was at this Vila. The owners received us very pleasant and helpful. They even prepared dinner for us very late at night. We were eating on the terasse and the view was amazing, hills all around. There is also a swimming pool in the garden. The room was very spacious and super clean same as the bathroom. The room has a balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view. The breakfast was very good and we’ve got refill on everything.
Cons: There is nothing bad about this place.

Pros: The location was great they were some facilities for children and the food at the restaurant was good and inexpensive.
Cons: Some elements in the bathroom were deteriorated and the light in the bathroom was poor. The towels were chip and scratchy.
Pros: A good sized room with a big bed , a balcony and a well equipped bathroom . The personnel was very friendly and helpful , the room was very clean . The food was great . The location is very quiet and includes a park and all sort of outdoors facilities .
Pros: Very Clean Spacious room In the middle of the forest The owner and the staff were very welcoming and kind. The restaurant is pretty good too!
Pros: The place is absolutely beautiful. The location in the forest makes it perfect spot to start and to spend the time in. The owner and staff are super nice, and the restsurant makes generous meals for a great price. *highly recommended*
Pros: Location in the forest, very pleasant during October. Playground. Spacious room. Staff was very friendly. Food was ok.
Cons: Small portions in the restaurant and you get to pay for absolutely everything. Shower temperature fluctuating, not nice when you need to take kids for a bath. Common areas were dusty (indoor stairs and hallway). Pony's where not there for kids like in the pictures.

Pros: Clean and nice. Been there before. SPA is very nice and kids just loved the pool. Good food, but and there's a big BUT - you will find it in "What didn't you like section" :)
Cons: As I said the BUT is that staff from hotel is very nice and friendly but this is not the same story at the restaurant :( Maybe it was my unlucky day, I don't know. So here the truth - some of the waitresses there have to change either behavior or job. They make you fell unwelcome. It' like you bother them, you know the type and hope you know what I mean :) Apart this, food is good. Didn't want to give a 2 stars for service as it reflects on the whole property which is not the case.
Pros: The staff was very polite and proff., beautiful place, pVery comfertable beds
Pros: The breakfast very good, the staff in the restaurant speaking well enough or very well in English. I liked very much the football field with my son. Thanks to all of the staff.
Cons: I would prefer the shower then the bath in the bathroom - it is more comfortable.
Pros: Really nice experience overall, spa was excellent, rooms looked lovely. The food was good and our waiters were really nice and efficient.
Cons: The restaurant and bar closed 1 hour ahead of schedule which would have been fine if we had been told in advance and they hadn’t advertised it as open until late in the brochure and over the phone before booking the room. I particularly disliked the receptionist’s attitude which was really unapologetic at the fact that it was closed. The rest of the staff were nice though and the experience was positive so we would come back.
Pros: Excellent location, view, food, services, spa and very nice personnell.
Cons: Is not the case

Pros: Very spacious and quiet appartment. Breakfast was very good. Thank you.
Pros: We stayed there for two nights. The stuff was very friendly. The food was delicious. They even tried to manage my food intolerances. We got helpful tips what to do and where to go and we visited all the recommended places. The room was sufficiently equipped and clean. There is a comfortable terrace outside surrounded by flowers and plants. They speak a very good English, no problems with the communication. We definitely recommend the place. Thank you very much. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: There was nothing to complain.
Pros: Spacious courtyard parking, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, very clean
Cons: I've traveled for more than three years, in total, and stayed at hundreds of different places, all over the world. Never have I come across a host as bad as this. To be fair, I made a mistake when I didn't see the reception only allows check in for four hours a day. From 2 pm to 6 pm. However, I've never seen or heard about any other place, doing that, anywhere. Which is why I didn't look for this highly unusual practice. I was expecting to arrive by train at 7 pm, but because it was full, I had to wait for the next one. I had tried to get in contact with the B&B all day, to ask about their shuttle service or other ways to get there. I wrote in the morning before booking, in the booking app when making a reservation and again, later, by email. I never heard back. I arrived at the B&B around 10.45 pm by taxi. The host was in the room next to the reception. I called "hello" a couple of times and was ignored. The third time she finally came out - with an attitude. She made it clear that she didn't want "people like me" - who write by email. Because "her guests would call on the phone and not care about roaming charges". She claimed she had called me, and couldn't reach me, and that she hadn't read my messages, until an hour before I arrived. This is not true, because by that time I had turned flight mode off. (It was on flight mode while I was close to the Moldovian border and would risk paying very high fees for being out of the EU.) I asked her several times why she didn't just reply to my messages. All problems would have been solved if she had. She kept rolling her eyes, but could not give a proper answer, other than it was below her "to do such a thing". There's a good reason I write instead of calling. By email you can always conveniently recheck information. There can be no doubt about who said what.
Pros: Very clean ... nice people, very kind... very good breakfast ... we had the apartment with two rooms ... two TVs (my son was happy)... and easy access with baggage to the car... from here you can visit all the points from Buzau... excellent location (supermarket, gas station near by).
Pros: Good location, close to the mud volcanoes. The owner was friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was stale, the room was actually for 2 people and not for 4 as advertised. Not the most comfortable stay.

Cons: Wi-fi was intermittent, but beyond host control. Location was a bit far from wineries we wanted to visit, but definitely more pleasant than staying in one of the larger nearby towns.
Pros: Loved the scenery, how clean and quiet the place is. The owners are super friendly. All the facilities were there for us to enjoy a great time in nature, cook, eat, relax. Great food from locals, just ask the owner -amazing fresh cheese, vegetables, eggs. Local shops just across the street. Ideally go visit Magura Sculpture Camp, just 8 kilometers away.
Pros: Rooms were small but very clean. Host despite fact of not knowing english very open, friendly and comunicative.
Pros: Very nice place. Rooms are clean and cozy, the owner is very friendly. The shared kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. The outdoor area is nice with barbecue and table-tennis table at your disposal. Free bicycles available at the property, which is a good starting point to explore the area and to experience the rural life.
Cons: A bit difficult to find, but GPS will take you there!

Pros: we spent a night on our way to visit the Muddy Volcanoes. beautiful location, extremely friendly staff, large rooms and very clean. The back garden is a bonus! Little piece of paradise!
Pros: Lovely garden. Tasty food. Good location for a stopover before visiting Muddy Vulcanos.
Pros: Big nice rooms, awesome back garden, great food at a decent price.
Pros: Cozy place and felt intimate even if it was fully occupied. Excellent service. The staff was very warm and fulfilled every need one could have or express. I and my family will certainly come again soon.
Pros: Staff very nice. Quite and cosy atmosphere. Superb food. Room
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Hanul Moara Veche. We stayed here for its proximity to the mud volcanoes, which are around a 20 minute drive away (they are well worth a visit!) Melania was extremely welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The food was excellent and the garden was a lovely place to relax in the evening. I would not hesitate to recommend Hanul Moara Veche to stay, or to eat, if you are in the area.

Pros: The location was great, next to the river.well maintained garden. 30 mint drive to mud volcano.food was tasty.
Pros: Nice service, even they are not speaking English. Awesome supper (in restaurant, paid one) and garden. Good chilling spot, shop is super close.
Cons: Served brakfast, no option for chosing. I get 2 pieces of cucumber and tomato - that is all from vegetables. Even drinking water was limited. They are giving it in a cup and every time you want it - you need to ask for more. I asked 3 times, than I prefered to go and buy a bottle.
Pros: The pool The garden
Cons: Furniture in the room was very dated Breakfast was very disappointing (the omlettes were horrible, no variety overall.) Only one plastic chair on the balcony, even though we had a twin room Only 2 face towels in the room, no body towel. Poor quality of soap and shower gel.
Pros: The kitchen and the attitude of the staff.
Cons: The structure from wood that is noisy and the fact that Penny Market makes a construction on Sunday morning, nearby!
Pros: Very clean and well equipped rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent food, including delicious gluten-free meals (on request).

Pros: Very friendly host and well kept location
Cons: Be absolutely sure to approach the location from Calvini. Your GPS may show other roads, which are impracticable.
Pros: Nice new building. Also the owner was waitting for us in a easy point to show us where is the accomodation. The point is that it was at 4:00 am!! 10 for the host! Also the breakfast wasn't included in the price and he was preparing some coffe and toast!
Cons: The way to the accomodation, if you are using google maps, take care and ask for the host the correct way. Don't follow Google maps, it will put you in a really bad place.
Pros: The surroundings of the pension are great, really quiet (except for the 3 dogs that encourage one another to bark from time to time). The owner is a really nice guy and provides lots of info about everything there is to see in the area. There is also breakfast to be served in the mornings, as well as lunch and dinner, upon request. The place is clean, but the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. All in all, a good stay for a night or two in the region.
Cons: The road to the location is not the one shown on Google Maps. That road is definetely not to drive on. The actual road crosses a bridge that doesn't look like can be crossed (safe enough though). Better call the owner in advance to get the proper description.
Pros: We loved this place. We only stayed for one night as we were on a motorcycle road trip but it's a place we wish to return. We already recommended Tara Luanei to our friends and parents. Everything is perfectly clean and the decorations are amazing. We enjoyed discovering interesting vintage objects around the common areas. Some people might not like the peacock call, but we loved it. Otherwise it is a very, very quiet place.

Pros: The location has opened pretty recent, so everything is pretty much brand new.
Cons: Location was a bit off what I've expected. I'ts kinda' in the middle of nowhere, right before the entrance in the Satuc village. That wouldn't be a bad thing, since the surroundings are very nice, but the problem, right now at least, is that there are no facilities around it, like no terrace , no proper barbecue pit (as advertised in the description). Probably within this year it will all be set up, but for the time being....it's just a pretty nice location on the inside, and not much around it.
Pros: Late arrival at 2:00 am was not a problem.
Cons: The bathroom smelled extremely bad. Because of that it was disgusting to use it.
Pros: - friendly English speaking host - dinner / breakfast was good - clean room - bar
Cons: - close to the highway
Pros: The villa is situated in a beautiful area, close to the village where you will find a Penny market, a bank, nice little shops, good restaurants and friendly people. Also all the interesting tourist attractions are easy reachable from the villa. Great breakfast and we also had some special, traditional, tasty dinner that we enjoyed very much.
Pros: Matras was comfy.
Cons: Pillows were not comfortable; No kettle as advertised and could not provide when asked for; Shower took ages to get warm; Bread for breakfast was the same as served during dinner (basket actually never left the table!); Lots of dead flies and ashtrays were not emptied.
Pros: not much, to be honest!
Cons: Rooms are small and very noisy, at night you hear every single truck passing by on the motorway nearby. Air condition did not work. Wifi was promised, but did not work either. The "in-house restaurant" was closed, and there was no breakfast (although promised). There was no 24-hour front desk (although announced); at 7p.m. the front desk lady left us alone in the empty hotel. The animals featured in some of the online ads are some 10 kilometers away
Pros: overall good
Cons: Tv not working, hot water need to wait for few good minutes
Pros: Staff was very nice. food was fresh.
Cons: It was a bit chilly. Surprise cold weather in September... .
Pros: Good and comfortable room
Cons: The bed for the kids was not ready and it was made by us
