Great spa complex (although at additional cost). Food was lovely (when the hotel was empty) but we were only here for two nights. We felt that after two weeks or so, it could become a little samey.
The hotel is rated 5 star. Not sure what constitutes 5 Star in Tunisia but this was below our expectation. The noise in our room was unbearable. This could have been that we were close to the lift but we could hear every word of every conversation of people walking past (the floor plan of the hotel is huge so many people use the singe lift groups). Additionally, every chair scrape and footstep from the room above our room. The 1st night of our stay was great as the hotel was empty. The second night it had filled up. We could not get a table in the restaurant for some time, the queues were 10 mins at each counter, the plates ran out and so did the food. In no way did I have high expectations of an all inclusive hotel but this experience was underwhelming.
Services and Facilies. The rooms given to us were noisy as it was enroute to three more blocks. Looked like as we were on the highway.
Everything was nice, the food was high quality, pools are nice and huge. Big places everywhere, you can not feel crowd.
Unfortunately, when we where there the slides didn't work. The gymn could be a littlebit well-equiped with some new machine. Wi-fi was week in the room.
Standard all inclusive hotel. Nothing special but nice. Very international guests.
Standard all inclusive hotel. Nothing special but nice. Big buffet: mass instead of class.
The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. There is a sea view and atmosphere. There is a swimming pool and a beautiful beach is nearby.
Travelers visiting Tunisia will find that the Nour Palace Resort offers comfortable accommodations within easy reach of all that the city has to offer. This beachfront hotel offers direct access to the sandy beaches and crystalline waters the area is famous for, but also puts guests within walking distance of the Madhia train station. The Madia Museum is also within easy reach, as is the Great Mosque of Mahdia. The Old Town section of the city is about three miles away, and Fort Ottoman Borj El Kebir is less than four miles from the hotel.
This expansive property offers 550 guest rooms spread throughout several different floors. All rooms feature basic amenities, including flat-screen televisions with satellite programming and minibars. Also on offer are private bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and Internet access. Note that some rooms have views over the beach and sea, while others have views of the hotel’s garden areas. For even more luxury and privacy, guests can upgrade to more spacious suites that feature living areas.
The Nour Palace Resort offers enough amenities that guests would never really need to leave. The 24-hour coffee shop serves up java and small bites, while the on-site Italian restaurant is a great place to grab lunch or dinner during a stay.
The outdoor pool is very large and provides numerous opportunities for recreation and relaxation. There is also a bowling alley on offer, and those who enjoy golf can visit the putting green at the hotel. The property also offers three tennis courts, a gym, and a sauna. Nearby restaurants include Café Sidi Salem La Grotte, Café El Medina, El Asfour, and Le Lido.
