Pros. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It room had all the necessities--but no more. The bathroom is quite small, to the extent that I couldn't shut the door when I used it because I (or at least my feet) was in the bedroom as I used it, and the shower is a bit quirky. But, I was comfortable and clean during my stay and satisfied that I got my money's worth.
Cons. Unfamiliar with Paris's geography, I booked this room expecting it to be closer to the heart of the city than it was. That was my mistake, not the hotels, but it meant that I was walking much further each day than I had planned. Also, my room was on the ground floor, which made it quite loud through the evening as passers by and trucks could be heard throughout the evening. This problem is easily countered by using ear plugs or playing white noise on a computer.
