Pros: Everyting was excellent!
Pros: Because we stayed 2 nights we could enjoy the hottub for free which was really nice. Also a cafe, but no restaurant. Breakfast was good.
Pros: Estacion Benedicto Cafe was a great find. The cabana was lovely and comfortable, with efficient heating throughout, and a good shower, plus an excellent breakfast. Well situated for walking amongst the volcanoes, with heaps of Monkey Puzzle trees, and loads of thermes - well worth turning off the main road for
Pros: This place is a gem! The owners were super friendly and they have three sweet and cutest dogs! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, we had a restful sleep and enjoyed our stay thoroughly ! The breakfast was very good too !
Pros: Mario, the owner, was a great host and welcomed us in the early morning with a lot of recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area. We had two perfect nights at this place and enjoyed the hot pot bath outside. Everything was perfect! Gracias para todo Mario! Esperamos a la foto con alegría anticipada :)
Pros: Excellent place to get out of the city and enjoy the montains.
Pros: They are very kind, I got in with a cold and they immediately reach out to make me a tea. The place is lovely, rooms a little bit too small but they are cousy, great new beds.
Cons: Personnel wasn’t connected, some of them knew my reservation, but the other had no idea I was coming in that night
Pros: This is an amazing place, located in the middle of a native forest (southern beech trees), and while close to a road, the traffic is not heard or seen. The owners and their employees are very helpful, warm and friendly, The main building (I can only talk about the main building, which has the hostal rooms, a chalet for up to four people and a dome fitting 5 exist as well - these are self catering, the hostal rooms not) is spotlessly clean, well heated and its decoration is very tasteful (something not too common in accomodation in Chile) and show much attention to detail (the owner is an afficionado of old trains, cars, etc.). Breakfast is great, and they also have good freshly ground coffee, and other hot and cold beverages, as well as snacks (hot sanwiches, salads, postres). The premises border on the River Cautin. 3 Restaurants are in walking distance (<1 km), major attractions in proximity are two waterfalls, 3 thermal baths, the towns of Curacautin (12 km) , and Malalcahuello (18 km) and their artisan markets, as well as the Corralco skiing centre, i.e. Volcano Lonmquimay. While it certainly help-s to have a car ( this is a rather remote rural area), the Estacion Benedicto lodge is also suitable for visitors not having a car (like me in this case). The people of the lodge will assist you in setting up tours of the area or to one of the thermal spas by contacting potential drivers. There is also a bus stop nearby, and a few buses between Curacautin and Lonquimay by two companies.
Cons: A wardrobe for the hostal rooms or something similar would have been nice (especially for women)
Pros: Great location and facilities, and Mario is an excellent and very friendly host. We travelled with 2 small children, and it is a very child-friendly place. Only issue is we could only stay 1 night due to other commitments - would love to return and stay longer!
Located in Curacautin, Malalcahuello Thermal Hotel & Spa is within a 15-minute drive of Malalcahuello Square and Princess Waterfall. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It is a quiet retreat in a very picturesque location.
Cons: The spa itself is disappointing and is just a large indoor pool which could be anywhere. The spa is also not well maintained and is starting to look run down. The food at the hotel is dramatically overpriced.
Pros: Location is fantastic. Outside areas of the Hotel and pools are well maintained. Staff in restaurant is very kind.
Cons: Accommodations, bathroom are old and worn. Breakfast is poor for such a kind of hotel. Reception staff is hard to communicate with. I do not know if it is matter of language burdens or, most likely, lack of interest.
Pros: Beautiful sight
Cons: Food in the restaurant has poor variety
Pros: The staff were helpful and kind. The pool was fun. The breakfasts were great. The grounds were beautiful. Our 8 coworkers also enjoyed their stay.
Cons: Should have given us the projected cost along with the confirmation number. Give us a way to opt out of room service.
Pros: The surrounding Location Nature
Cons: The property need to be renovated, specially in the pool area , better parking facilities
Pros: The pool was great, wáter temp perfect. The setting and grounds and scenery is amazing The restaurant food is good but selection is limited especially if you dont eat meat. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Ie eggs, fresh juice, better seection of bread with baked goods. Coffee does not seem feshly brewed.
Pros: - The lunch was amazing. -Receptionist was very polite. - Parking space. -Decoration of the lobby gorgeous. - Room was huge and very comfortable. -The thermal was good.
Cons: - Lunch is not self service for the hot food, there’s someone putting your food and she just don’t say what is in there. It makes no sense to have someone serving (pondering) the food if you are paying for a buffet service - they only turned the room heather in the morning, so we froze during the night - The shower in the room has almost no water coming out of it and the pressure of the water is very poor, not possible to take a proper bath - the thermal is a hot pool, which is good. But they should put some warnings telling people to not spit rheum/catarrh in it. - And to not massage your private parts with the whirlpool water jet (We left the pool after seeing these scene)
Pros: Calm location, nice room, friendly but only spanish speaking staff, entrance to Thermal spa included in rate
Cons: Wifi only in Reception area; Thermal baths are in need of renovation; Hotel is not worth officially announced rates, but at the rate we have paid it is a good price/quality ratio
Pros: The views from the room are really nice (hotel garden and mountains with native trees), the restaurant it's quite good with good prices.
Cons: The rooms price per night is more than what you get. The bathroom is ok, but the bedroom is not very-well conserved. The capet is stained, the walls have sectors without paint and the tv is an old one (not flat). The wifi reception ia only good in the lobby.
