Cons: Breakfast was more like self service, but enough. It would have been nice to have some local products (like 'mannagrynsgröt' or black bread). However there were a very good vegan and gluten free choices for the breakfast, which was great!

Other facilities include 2 communal kitchens and a sauna. A gift shop is also found at Brobacka Gästhem. Mariehamn is a 15-minute drive away.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location away from busy town
Cons: Shared bathroom and downstairs. Not ideal to share this bathroom with 6-10 people depending how full it is.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our 4 days at Brobacka Guestham-even when it was stormy and rainy outside! Bedrooms were comfortable and quite spacious, baths always clean, as well as living room and kitchen. We didn‘t miss a thing. Breakfast was delicious, everything made of local products.
Cons: One thing you have to consider is that you can hear every single noise inside the guestham. As a group of friends it was a bit difficult to stay up and just talk after dinner without disturbing the other guests. Also you should be aware that it‘s not easy to discover the island from this area without a car, as the local bus times are not the best. After two days of cycling and taking the Taxi, we rented a car which made everything way easier. All in all we would love to come back -with a car- one day! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice typical nordic house with 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. Very good breakfast from local foods. You can borrow a boat or grill. You can go to a sauna. Very nice place.

Pros: Beautiful house with stylish and cosy rooms with a small cafe downstairs. Nice garden, which seems to be developed even further. The breakfast was made of several local products which was a nice addition. We rented the bikes to visit Mariehamn and surroundings - beautiful countryside. We’d love to stay here again.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Very clean, great facilities, nice breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast room was quite busy and time to time run out of goods
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We thought we were choosing one of the most elegant and modern 4 star hotels in Mariehamn and we were right! Just right amount of luxury to feel yourself welcomed. Rooms were updated recently and very quiet. There was a small thing missing from toilet and reception brought more right away after our request. Breakfast was the favorite thing. Although there wasn't any pancakes, quality was high for both sweet and salty. Atmosphere very enjoyable. Enough parking spaces also. Unfortunately didn't have time to test sauna and pool, but next time then!
Cons: Entrance was a bit dark. Reservation included free bike rent but there weren't any left. Hoping for more bikes available to fulfil expectations. Also would have been nice to know beforehand the sauna + pool times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, good food
Cons: To crowded at breakfest
7.5 Good
Pros: Super comfy bed sheets. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The pool is only open in the morning ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very nicely renovated, clean and quiet. The location was great and overall we enjoyed out stay a lot.
Cons: In the evening the parking lot was quite full and we got the last available space. Breakfast room was little crowded in the morning.

Cons: Not so many options for hot breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: new hotel close to ferry terminal , everything is clean , easy parking
Cons: nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Rooms are recently renovated. Bathrooms were very clean No external noise, rooms were quiet Breakfast is very good with warm and cold options and local products, nice croissants and tee Perfect located to be in Marihamn, all is in walking distance
Cons: The hotel gives you free access to sauna and pool 7.30-10.30 am. If you want to use it after that time they ask you for 30€/hour! This is not very well accepted There is a vibration noise from the ventilation system in a full corridor being quite annoying in some rooms. We complaint about that and the lady at the reception made her best to change us to another room. It was cold in the rooms, heating was not enough and outside was not too cold still 5degrees. Shower is a bit dysfunctional with all the water splashing in the the full floor. Very dark breakfast room with very dim lights Hotel is in between both seasides and doesn't get much direct sunshine
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Soft beds and nice breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Free parking.
Cons: No view from the windows, just the Parking lot.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Don't miss the bakery at ground floor!
Cons: No place (table/shelf) in the room to put your gear on.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Customerservice was excellent and a very friendly atmosphere. Christian offered us a drive to viking market. Breakfast was really good (especially the bread from the downstairs bakery). Also good was the possibility to go kayaking, biking, subboarding etc. Overall a great place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Åland Islands are beautiful, calm and calming. This industrial scale pension remains a work in progress but already offers a great breakfast, free bicycle hire and beautifully quiet accommodation. When the path to the brewery taproom and gastropub 800 metres away is completed the overall offer will improve markedly. The advice about tourism is pretty good already.
Cons: There is no lift and you need to carry your own bags.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Personal and very nice design when entering the hotel floor which was two or three floors up. The breakfast was personal and generous.
Cons: The entrance right outside of the hotel. It felt like going into a community hospital entrance.... But when climbing up the stairs to hotel floor, it was a completely different experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy clean room with wonderful decorated interior. Tasty breakfast with delicious fresh bread! Friendly owner. Amazing bakery in same building!
Cons: It would be good to have any table and electric kettle in room :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is wonderful, Godby is the centre of the main island. The hotel has a very big yard facing a beautiful lake, surrounded by trees. We even saw wild deers on the path nearby. It's amazing. The host Christian is great, He is an oudoor activity fan, so, Please contact him in advance,He can arrange a lot of interesting outdoor activities for you And even a group. BTW, the Trek bycicles offered freely by the hotel are really nice to explore paradical and colorful Aland islands especially in spring and autumn. The hotel is quite big and some part is still to be construted in future, however this is not a problem to the customers since mornings and nights are tranquil as always. We really missing the peace there when We back to the bustling And hustling city. There is also a small lovely bakery inside the hotel, delicious Soup is offered at noons of Friday and weekends, don't miss it. A brewery of types of beer And foods is nearby, Same property of the host. A cosy place for lunch and dinner. Strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Aland.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic attentive care from the host Christian, took care of every guest with undivided attention, informative and generous. No problems were too big, he offered to drive us places and pick up, we got packed lunches and coffee in flasks, in conclusion just amazing service
Cons: Difficult to get cold water in tap in bathroom (but no problem collecting from other parts of hotel), would have liked better clothes storing facilities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is next to a lake, very scenic. You need a car. Breakfast is uber good when taken at the bakery nearby (their fresh bread is so yummy)
Cons: It's still pretty much under renovation, basic things were missing (hairdryer, basic toiletries, etc)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owner Very friendly and really helpful local information given. Central location . Close to the brewery gastropub which is excellent for beer and food
Cons: Walk to gastropub is partly on main road with no footpath

Pros: Grear breakfast, wonderful menues at the 5 Quarter Restaurant in ground floor. Well trained, super friendly and accomodating personell. Individual Thermostats for air condition or heat in each room. A wonderful experience!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Hot dishes were meat balls, mini sausages, eggs, beans in sauce. Also there were fruits, vegetables, herring. Drinks were 3 kinds of juice, coffee, tea. Their restaurant is very good, but with higher prices. The room was in a very good state. It was a kind of medium size. WiFi was very good. The hotel has quite big parking space. Hotel location is very good. There is K-Market across the street. All points of interest of Mariehamn in a walking distance.
Cons: We only lack double bed option. Though the parking space is big, we could not find a marked up space and needed to park in a not marked up area. Our ferry was in the evening, and the hotel stuff did not allow us to leave our car in the parking, because they had a lot of guests.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Nice and friendly staff who spoke also finnish.
Cons: We had to take two rooms for a family with two kids and this was really expensive. The sauna and entertainment facilities were not good at all.

Cons: Beds a bit too soft.
6.3 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean facilities and friendly staff. Good breakfast. A great place for a short stay.
Cons: The room was slightly cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is located a few km outside of Mariehamn but worth the mission on public transport :) This place must be magical in the summer. I would come for a week and cycle or hike for days :)
Cons: The winter price should be a little cheaper :)
7.9 Good
Pros: Being low season I was the only guest in a very big common room, I enjoyed the privacy and also having a chat in the kitchen with the few other guests. And the pool and sauna in the very nearby centre (1 minute walk!) with discount for guests. They left me breakfast in the fridge and there was a good choice of food / drinks. I would like to be back in summer and rent a bike too, a perfect place for easy going and sociable people who love sports and activities.
Cons: There were may dirty coffee cups in the sink probably left by previous guests. I didn't mind so much and I knew a big group just left, but I had to wash the cutlery I needed.
7.9 Good
Pros: Really relaxing place, If you want some tranquility, somewhere to recover , or a good pause in your trip go there. Not much to see around, rent a bike and go to Kastlehoms, bikes are a little hard but It helps, , good Supermarkets near It.
Cons: Nothing to do with the hostel, but they give me the bus timetable to Marienhamn and the bus simply did not passed , I was waiting for more than one hour, It was supposed to pass 3 busses in this period but no one passed, my ship was to leave Soon , a had to pay 35 euros to a táxi , Just got on time to take the boat. Be carefull with the bus hours, take it the earlier you can. Well, the breakfast is quite expensive, better you make It by your self
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Kitchen was clean, so were toilets and showers, rooms and corridors. All were bright and clean.
Cons: There could be more than just boiled eggs for warm part of breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It's very clean place with great shared kitchen and living room, comfortable foye with sofas, perfect touristic information about Alaands available in the shared zones. Rapid wifi network and tv.
Cons: There was no locked storage boxes for laggage.
6.7 Good
Pros: Really nice hostel with great facilities- a nice kitchen with sofa area and tv. There is a sports centre next door with a swimming pool and gym. Would be a great place to go in summer!
Cons: Godby takes 20/30 mins by car from mariehamn and the buses aren’t very frequent, especially on weekends. I wouldn’t recommend it for a one night stay and I wouldn’t recommend going there during winter because of the limited daylight. I was the only person in the hostel!
7.5 Good
Pros: It's probably the cheapest hostel in a whole Aland Islands but still good and worth to give a go. Nothing actually bad to be said. I was the only person in a whole building :) Krystian from #Visit111
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel is really clean and cozy. I was luckily the only one in my room and I had a good night there. It locates in a small town which doesn’t have much to see but is quite and peaceful. There’s a pizza place in town who makes really nice pizza and salad.
Cons: Don’t go there on weekends if you don’t have a car. There’s only one bus passing the town on weekends and it takes an unacceptable long time to walk there from the port.

Cons: A little bit tired. Problems with tv. Noisy neighbors but that was immediately resolved when we reported it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast!! A lot of fresh local products and dishes to taste.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and nice hotel. Room was spacious and there were both shower and tub in the bathroom. It was also extremely nice to find a towel and pieces of something for the dog - didn't have time to see what it was, dog noticed it before me :-) Also there were treats, waterbowl and towels for dogs beside the main door! Very dog friendly!
Cons: Everything was ok. Nothing to complain about!
6.7 Good
Pros: Appreciated the location, the ability to open the windows to the outside. The breakfast was fabulous.
Cons: The room (floors) could have been cleaner. The outside grounds, sidewalks were dirty. The restaurants were not open.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good Location , pool facilities and big nice rooms !Good breakfast .
Cons: The sauna didn’t smell fresh , the rooms should need a touch up , some common areas was really messy!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A huge room and I had a sea view from my room and balcony which was great. Big windows so it was nice and bright and airy. Clean and well appointed (but sockets by the bed would have been useful). Breakfast was good and plentiful. A few steps into the town (but nothing is far in Mariehamn!).
Cons: The hotel isn't pretty to look at - I guess a 1970s design. But inside it isn't dated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is close to good restaurants. Comfortable room and bed. Great inclusive breakfast. The staff are amazingly helpful: 10/10, especially Johanna!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We could barbecue at the place and they offered us coals. Rooms are beautiful and staff friendly
Cons: The closest restaurant is 7km from the house. If you go by bike and it is extreamealy hot, it is too long. Also no public swimming places nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Houses clean, rooms clean and cozy, breakfast perfect, all exceeded our expectation. The host even lent us the bikes to go around and drove us to downtown when public traffic was down, which helped us to a great extent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, nice breakfast and nice staff. This would be my first choice if visiting Åland again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cozy place in the countryside, you can easily say you feel like at home. Convenient check-in, the owner left keys for us as we were a bit late. And it was warm in the room and comfy to sleep, that was the most important thing for us.
Cons: Most rooms are quite close to each other and to the living/dining room, so you can hear pretty much everything happening around.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: There was no their own homemade lemonade in the breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and light rooms with beautiful big windows. The room was decorated in a rustic scandinavian style and gave the feeling of 'home'. Great surroundings (our room had a direct view towards the cow field), good bathroom facilities. The breakfast was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. We had been tasting Amalia's lemonades during our stay on Aland, and were excited to get to the accommodation at the end of our holiday, so that we could visit the lemonade factory and factory shop. Needless to say we bought many bottles to take home!
Cons: Depending on the type of the other guests, the ground floor rooms might not be for light sleepers. Noises carry easily though the walls and doors when other guests walk past to head upstairs. We also woke up very early in the morning to a child talking very loudly and "singing" in the dining area (other end of the house), seemingly not being asked to be quieter by parents. Not the accommodation's fault of course, as it's an old house and that's the charm of it. But light sleepers may want to make sure they sleep on the top floor, as I assume that should be quieter. Other small negative is that on arrival we were not told by the staff that we can use the rear entrance to come in after the main door has been locked for the night, and that we're supposed to use the magnetic key for it. Luckily we asked some other guests as we were heading out, who shared this piece of missing informatiion. Like us, they were surpised we had not been told about it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very confortable and the room was a good size and airy.
Cons: The breakfast was very simple. Could have had a few more bread options.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, the room 7 was beautiful ( small, though). Shower and toilet good.
Cons: The room 7 upstairs had a window partly toward the road. Because the weather was hot, the window had to be kept open. The noise from the road prevented us from falling asleep. At 3am I closed the window and could sleep a little bit. It was a long and hot night with no rest ☹️
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely opportunity to barbecue outdoors, good breakfast. Very easy to reach also by bus from Mariehamn. Some options for nice walks in the surrounding areas. The lemonade factory on the premises is a fun extra (very tasty produce as well!), and the kids enjoyed feeding the friendly cows that hang out right next to the B&B.
Cons: As the weather was really hot when we visited one would have liked to sleep with the windows open, but since the main road to Lumparland is very close and occasional cars drive by at quite high speeds throughout the night, this was not really possible as the kids would wake up from the sound.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gr8 staff and we got a nice balcony. We only paid 1 € extra for a " dog room" Really nice breakfast.
Cons: Everything was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: warm pool (outside)
6.3 Good
Pros: Decent breakfast
Cons: Hotel management should not force employees to clean rooms at 9 o'clock in sunday morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool with wonderful breakfast
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was excellent for our visit to the Pommern ~ the reason for our trip. Staff were friendly
Cons: It was very basic, odd shower set up with no curtain so wet everywhere. The breakfast left a bit to be desired but was ok.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fresh gym and the pool was larger than expected. Good breakfast. Calm location with low noise level, double-doors to the hallway and the balcony.
Cons: No curtain in the bathtub.
7.0 Good
Pros: We booked the room for one night. I was glad that we were allowed to bring our dog (for cost of 10 EUR/night which is still acceptable). Wifi was fast and reliable and it was good to have a water kettle in the room. Even if we did not use it, the room had a balcony. Bathroom was small but there was a bath tub included.
Cons: First of all, in our wing of the building there was a very intensive smell of smoking people. The room looked little worn and the light was very dimmed only. The bath tube was ok but it absolutely did not hold the water. While my son had a bath, he had to keep the water running the whole time. A seal would really help to save water and I guess the seal would even be cheaper than letting the water run all the time. And I would suggest to provide a shower curtain so that the bathroom does not get flooded while showering. Breakfast was quite okay with a small choice of everything. However I was really missing black tea. They only provided green and fruit tea, no black tea. I asked the lady for black tea but she said that there is none. Absolutely disappointing and honestly not acceptable.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect and staff friendly. My room was clean and steady. Good value for money.
Cons: Breakfast was the poorest part of the stay. Comfort of the room is not that great (tv did not function and the bed had seen its best days).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great room overlooking the Pommern and the Maritime Museum, with lovely terrace. Wonderful situation.
Cons: Apart from a problem with cleanliness in the shower, which was fixed, our only question mark concerned the breakfast. For such a beautiful, well-appointed, stylish, hotel with a fabulous room, the standard of the breakfast seemed totally out of keeping. It was ‘adequate’ but disappointing. A choice of preserves would have helped; Finnish bread is fabulous but where was it ? And for a hotel which had such a high volume of Finnish clients - judging from our two nights - where were the Karelian Rice-Cakes, which are the staple of every Finnish breakfast?! We would certainly come back again as the hotel is great but try and have breakfast elsewhere.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect hotel. The staff is amazing. They waited for us when we arrived after midnight. The next day, since it was Sunday and everything was closed, and on top of this it rained like crazy, they offered us to keep the room for the whole day for free until our departure from Mariehamn that night. They helped us to look at what is actually open and even drove us to the museum. I'm definitely staying there again next time I visit Åland isles and I wholeheartedly recommend the Strandnäs Hotell.
Cons: I can't complain.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean the staff was nice and it felt good.
Cons: The pillows in the bed was terrible and even though the breakfast was ok, nice bread and fresh, it was quite poor for us because we don't eat meat, milk or bread. But this time we did it otherwise we couldn't eat at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: quiet location
Cons: Basic breakfast. The reception is NOT 24 hours (you need to call for check in after 23:00).
7.5 Good
Pros: The room. Breakfast is ok but I hope you add more, like smoked salmon or some other kind of cheese, salad and bacon. I love the fresh baked bread, that's fantastic, even my children ate alot of bread, it's not normal to them.
Cons: Settings of the tables is quite messyl and disturbing when people come and go taking their breakfast. We were like in the place where coffee were on our back and people keep walking infront of us, because the buffet is near our table too. I suggest that one door is close and put all the buffet in the right corner, everything even the coffee that way nobody bothers anyone while having their breakfast.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Poor cleanliness. Room not cleaned properly. Far from centrum.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, the 3-person bedroom quiet, tidy and very spacious. Personnel was friendly. Next door, there is a nice little Italian gelateria.
Cons: The place is a bit outside the city centre, you'll need a bike or car to get there. Furniture was outdated and the whole place looks more like a hostel from the 80s than a modern hotel.
Hotel Savoy - Mariehamn - Bedroom

7.6 Good (1,219 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Savoy, you'll be centrally located in Mariehamn, within a 10-minute walk of Alands Museum and Sjökvarteret Maritime Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was OK, but serving it was stopped too early, already 9:30 am.
Cons: The beds were not good, too soft and worn-out. The reception was ignorant of buses and the location of the bus station. Ability to serve in Finnish was weak. The swimming pool was disappointing. Compared to the price of the room, the hotel did not fulfill our expectations. Time of breakfast was short.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and efficient check-in and check-out. Very comfy beds. Secure parking. Location - within easy strolling distance of Mariehamn centre and vicinity. Good shower.
Cons: Coffee mug in room was cracked and dirty on arrival. Gluten free alternatives for breakfast were adequate but limited. Breakfast personnel appeared not to like their job so much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great breakfast, free sauna, free bikes, great location.
Cons: Room was over-heated. Could only open one window a little.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is really clean and cozy . Nice breakfast with fresh nice apple juice from Åland ! The staff there were really nice and helpful .
Cons: The only little problem I felt was the wifi was a bit weak (or maybe it was just slow )
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is good. In the summer this is an OK hotel.
Cons: We only found out two days before travelling that there will not be any personnel at the hotel at this time of year. The check-in and breakfast were at a different hotel, 200 m from Savoy.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was okay, or at least the filter coffee. And the local apple juice. Sort-of helpful staff, but not the most service minded. Would have been totally okay as a 2 or 3 star hotel. But it's nowhere near parity with the usual 4-star hotels.
Cons: Bad air. No air condition (and locked windows). All too bright during night at this latitude, don't even have the standard blackout curtains. WiFi unusable. Ridiculous "pool". No minibar. Can't see why they advertise as a "4 star" hotel; only leads to disappointment. Change to 2 or 3 stars recommended.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent free breakfast. Modern facilities, but rooms were small. Surrounding countryside was amazing! We traveled around on the island. Saw a castle and some ruins of an old castle. Nice downtown area with a central plaza.
Cons: Beds were narrow, and it felt like I was going to slide off of either side of the bed. I thought I was sleeping on top of the peak of a mountain. Watch out for raised floor going into all bathrooms in Finland, causing a person to trip into the bathroom.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Dead hot in the room, non existing fan or AC.
6.3 Good
Pros: The stuff was kind and the location was very central.
Cons: They did not replace the dirty towels

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was lovely, clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing!! I had a great sleep and it's super close to the supermarket.
Cons: Breakfast was not very vegan friendly. Could have used just one dairy-free spread (margarine? Hummus? Jam that isn't marmalade?) Otherwise it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and accommodating. Great parking. Really good room for low price. Amazingly central location.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location close to the town centre. My room had its entrance from the street, motel-style. Good size room with water boiler and coffee and a large tv with Swedish channels. WiFi worked fine. Budget hotel with good value.
Cons: The whole place was a bit outdated. Beds were not the best. Breakfast was in the basement and kind of basic, but had all you need to get the day started. There was bacon and fried sausages.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, free parking, clean premises.
Cons: A bit overpriced, in my opinion. But still an objectively cheaper choice than most accommodations in Åland. Feels outdated, though I personally don’t care.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good, staff is professional and friendly, hotel is very clean, possibility for parking near the hotel.
Cons: This hotel looks like hostel from 80s and is quite ugly and not very comfortable. But its not expensive, and because we knew it before, it was not disappointment.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room very huge and well equipped, maybe some renovation is necessary but averagely we felt ok. Very convenient and good breakfast included in room price. There is a private and safe car parking just beside the hotel. Very near to city center and to haven too.
Cons: Bed too soft and overused.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The kindness and flexibility of the owner of the property.
Cons: No front desk reception; a note on the door with phone number to call. Given no local SIM card it's not convenient.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is good Spacious room Fridge and water boiler in room Free on site parking
Cons: Rooms facing the street are noisy breakfast quite simple

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and cosy and the view was nice.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Pizzeria had no other food than pizza. Must be better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location is right beside ferry terminal & approx 6/7 ins from main street. Its a good clean hotel, bit old but nothing wrong. The bar area is good & they do lovely pizza. had a sauna & swim here, not too luxurious but very clean & did the job. no lockers in the pool araea though. breakfast was busy both mornings, some more hot food might be nice, it was adequate though. overall I would reccomened as a good value, clean hotel.
Cons: I dont mind at all, but there were a few dogs staying, I like dogs but I guess some people may not. not an issue for me, everything was good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, comfortable and a nice restaurant downstairs
Cons: Wlan was not very good in our room
6.7 Good
Cons: The cleanliness of the room could have been much better. The cleaners obviously only focus on changing sheets and the bathroom cleaning but the vanity unit/desk chair was absolutely thick with dust, also dust and hair underneath the beds and around the sofa. Although it was a ‘pet-friendly hotel’, I didn’t expect to see the dog bed permanently in the corner of the room covered still in hairs. Made me uncomfortable with the notorious tick/punkki situation in Åland. The room was cleaned superficially only to give the impression that it was clean. Disappointing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good enough, everything was fresh. the location was brilliant - close to the terminal and the city centre.
Cons: We would have liked to have air-conditioning but there was none.
7.9 Good
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t as good as i expected. Bacon and eggs would’ve been great!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Anyway, the bedroom was perfect, big and comfortable and the staff were really nice. Hotel is really close to the harbour.
Cons: At breakfast were not milk and another supplies. The answer of the only one young waiter was that the car was retarded, so I could not have the breakfast I would like to take.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was good, the staff very friendly and the room quite cozy if a bit outdated.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't very pleasant. The food was ok but there was a constant lack of everything and the tables were too close to each other so it was difficult to move around.
7.5 Good
Pros: Silent and peaceful, beds ok. Parking.
Cons: Noise from the terrace comes to the room, luckily stops early.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location: just 2 blocks from the ferry station on a quiet street. The kitchen is very nice. The owner rents bikes. The owner waited for me at the door when I arrived close to midnight.

Cons: Bedbugs! It was horrible.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The shower was big, hot and clean
Cons: No atmosphere, breakfast had to be eaten with plastic spoons on paper plates, weak wifi signal

10.0 Excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent fresh scrambled eggs. Not the normal hotel'brick'

Pros: Little red huts are very cosy ☺ breakfast is great! But especially the surroundings, the view, the beach, the jetty is awesome!! Such a great place..and swimming in the sea after the sauna is amazing too
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, friendly host couple. The grounds were very spacious and well-kept. Breakfast was very good, with pancakes! The beds in the cottage were comfy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owner and staff! A very warm welcome. We very much enjoyed the views and atmosphere. Being able to use the sauna and kayaks was lovely. Great breakfast too. Thank you!
Cons: Only thing I would note to the owner is that it was great to have the great curtains for darkness in July. However, the light coming from the door's window (in cabin 1 at least) kind of took away from the otherwise excellent blockage of light at night time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice seaside location, friendly family as hosts, good breakfast, nice shared space, possibility of shared use of kitchen and fridge
Cons: Capacity of shared bathroom facilities is rather low; Travelling to/from there without a car would have been difficult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very cozy and clean and the bed was super comfy. The owners were very friendly and willing to help! The location is fantastic, as it is near the water, quiet, but also close to Mariehamn.
