5.8 Okay
Pros: The place is dirt cheap. Mostly dirt, then cheap though. :D Staff, despite not speaking much English, is doing their best to help. They let me check in a bit earlier than official check in time stated Location is excellent, right next to the two main shopping streets of Masbate and very close to the port (3 minute walk) and airport (10 minute walk). Internet worked, was quite stable and had decent speed!
Cons: The toilet got clogged. Staff finally understood what was the problem and showed with a plunger. But the toilet bowl was already full to the rim, yet they felt the need to flush. As a result, liters of toilet water spilled on the bathroom floor. Gross! And it made the room smell horrible. The room is made with the cheapest materials only. Plastic doors, plastic, taps, power outlets that hang halfway out of the wall. Spartans could learn something from this place. The room was as spartan as it gets: absolutely no decorations, nothing done to make it look cozy. There was no warm water, which also means cold showers! There was no view from the window. The window could not be closed and looked out in a small air vent shaft. The place is very noisy. You can hear what all your neighbors do. The air conditioning worked well, but was as noisy as an old jet engine.
7.5 Good
Pros: Proximity to the church and restaurants
Cons: Restroom is too small
7.5 Good
Cons: The tricycles are very noisy
4.2 Okay
Cons: I have to argue with the front desk staff for my paid reservation to be honored for my failure to observe hotel protocols that i know nothing. The room have basic necessities so bring yours just to be sure that you have your needs when you needed them. The AC is unable to cool a small room for two. The only redeeming attribute if the place is its strategic location, at the center of the city.
7.9 Good
Pros: connection of net is better , front desk staff (manang) very cool and smile all the time , location is good , pati si manung guard very okey !!!!!!!
Cons: lobby need to improved
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was in the center thus we had easy access to the city tourist spots. It is exactly in front of the famous cathedral church and some snack shops. Beside is the Bayot ancestral house and tricycle line. If available they will let you check in earlier.
Cons: The bed sheet & pillow smells like sweat.. Not sure if it wasn't changed before we checked in.
4.2 Okay
Pros: To be honest, with my experience, nothing in this hotel I like, but to be fair, the location is ok, right in the city and the price is affordable.
Cons: Im, sorry, I am very disappointed with the service, I stayed in this hotel 4 nights, not a single day my room was clean even I requested to get my room clean, it never done. The day I checked in, I was given a room that no hot water shower, no aircon room, no way, it not acceptable, I'm sure, when I booked my accommodation, If it has been stated that the price I paid is not with hot water and aircon, I would not take it, I think the advertisement is a bet misleading, anyway, I have to pay extra more to get the room with the aircon and hot water shower. but the toilet is not so great, dirty and very small combine with shower, and the bed frame is kinakain nang anay, anyway, my full stay is a total disappointment, I hope the management should consider to rectify the the problem for future guest.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were nice and the beds were comfortable. Plus, it's a short walk from the pier which was really handy.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny and the shower wasn't clean at all. The AC was really loud and there were ants in my room. I don't think the room was worth the price I paid but it seemed the only the reasonable option.
