Nature. Located in 100 meters from the nice and big pond. The garden and balcony flavors are perfectly mentained and add a strong feeling of staying in village. Sauna and pool look good. Very pleasant personal. A lot of detailed and useful information about surroundings and possible entertainments. Nice cuisine but "short" (closed at 9PM) The Hotel does not fully correspond its advertisement. Furniture is a bit old. Old bathroom facilities. No electrical outlets by working desk or nearby. Some of hotel facilities are quite old par ex the only Solarium bed is about 20 years old (no glasses provided). SPA is absolutely empty (no personal) no massage beds.
Good Price Nice out of the way location Good first impression Room booked unavailable. "Upgrade" room had no bath and no washing machine. Bodgy electricals. Owner charged for use of 'integrated washing machine'. Unpleasant reconcilliation of account.
Very quiet location just across the German border near Passau into Austria. The owners made us very welcome and we had a very nice evening meal at reasonable cost in the breakfast area. Breakfast was buffet style and well presented with plenty of choice. The site has a fully equipped conference area attached and can cater for business meetings etc. Accomodation was a comfortable living room, with fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom, with well appointed bathroom.
The room was really big and had everything we needed.
The suites are a great size certainly not what I was expecting, our room had a massive terrace with a view to Salzburg - it was perfect. I would skip the breakfast - our room had a great kitchen, so next time I would bring our own supplies. But overall great value for money, super quiet with easy access to the spa (5minutes) and easy to get to Salzburg area. Great place to stay if you have kids, as there is lots of space or if you are traveling in a group. The owners are very welcoming and speak perfect English, so it is great for international travelers. I would stay here again - though I would sort out the price issue on arrival. Price - the rooms are big if the owner offers to let you 'bunk' in together as we did - check the price, when we went to settle the bill - he tried to charge us for both rooms still!! And I would pay first once the price is settled. Breakfast - so totally not worth €7.00pp, more like a €3.00 breakfast. 1 egg, some cold cuts and cheese and bread is not what I call buffet breakfast. My tip - always print out your booking form with all the Ts & Cs of the hotel!! This has saved me money more than once.
wonderfull place, peace and comfortable, low level of noice, cats, birds, rabbits :)
Friendliness of the staff. Peace and quiet of the countryside (location of Geinberg Suites).
Very friendly staff... Location (on top pf the hill, overlooking nearby village in the valley)... Spacious room equipped with all things necessary. Lack of professionalism. In house noise during the night.
Very nice and silent location No
at 20 minutes from Salzburg, very nice personnel, nice hotel not a lot of towels. especially if you want to go for a swim. no shower gel available, only some soap
food hard to find
The staff was excellent, friendly and proffessional. The food was delicious. The wine variety was beyond our expectations.
Beautiful location, very friendly efficient staff (Owners) Nothing
The breakfast was great! Beautiful location in a lovely town. Owners/Managers were extremely helpful.
friendly and helpful staff, excellent location
Familiarity and very nice hotel, I like the hotel view and food as well.
very friendly , extremely friendly , they do anything they can to make you're stay pleasant ! very family feeling a little bid old here and there some paint could make a diffrence
It was near the lake. There was free use of bikes to explore the area and free wi-fi in the hotel. Our room was not available that we had booked. The staff did not speak good English and this created a barrier with reference to the incorrect room and using some of the facilities in and around the hotel. Lack of knowledge of the local area and lack of care for guests in general.
Location near lake is pretty and very quiet, yet a short drive from motorway- ideal for a stop-over. Bathrooms are state of the art with great showers. The next-door restaurant (run independently of hotel) is pricey but excellent. Hotel is very dark with Asian inspired design, which I found a little forced in the Austrian Alps (huge Buddha statue in black entry hall). No elevator (our rooms two floors up- help with luggage was not offered).
