Pros: Staff was very friendly. The hotel is awesome, updated interior with beautiful rustic floors. Loved the espresso machine! Perfect get away after soaking in the hot springs! Will definately come back.
Cons: Needs a face lift; specifically the outdoor jacuzzi!
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: The online does state the rate was for a single room with a shared bathroom. Although not a big deal, this was found out at check in. The mineral hot baths were less than desirable. Private but had a set time of 30 minutes at a time per the four tubs. This was not desirable for a romantic get away. The bed was not comfortable at all. My wife and I bother has sore shoulders by morning. The breakfast was included in the nights stay, but it was merely a Continental breakfast. The stay was not completely terrible with an open mind. We will however not return.
Pros: The Riverside Inn is the reason I come back to Lava. The staff and owners make you feel like family from the minute you walk in the door. We come back here once or twice a year, and every room we've stayed in has been cozy, clean, private, and well maintained. The food in the restaurant downstairs is amazing and very well priced for the quality and quantity. Above all, though, it's the owners and employees here that make The Riverside Inn so outstanding. A trip to Lava Hot Springs wouldn't be complete anywhere else!

Cons: We didn't like that there was not a table/desk in room to put laptop or place to have lunch. It was a really hot day and they didn't have umbrellas on patio tables to sit outside during day, absolutely no shade. The patio wasn't private enough, a table w/umbrella may have helped with privacy. Around 9:3am there were 3 men sitting on patio in front of OUR door, smoking and drinking beer almost the entire day. It was quite icky. The smell of smoke and listening to loud men talk. Also, the motel didn't have an ice machine, to get ice for our cooler or our sodas. And the shower was dirty. Also, it would have been nice if the outdoor pool had lights around pool, don't like swimming in the dark.

Cons: No one was ever at the office check in was not good room key didn't work had to call a phone number to get toilet paper some one had the same key and tried to get in our room but the chain was hooked this was after midnight they actually opened our door.
Pros: Kitchenette, location,
Cons: Too hot. AC only in one room. Tiny bathroom.
The Suites of Lava Hot Springs is a great choice for a stay in Lava Hot Springs. Free perks include WiFi and self parking.
Cons: Bathroom was not very clean. Tenants on the second floor were very noisy running around on the deck.
Pros: Its within walking distance from Lava Hot Springs pools, the river runs by and lulls with the sound. The rooms are cosy with fireplaces, super comfortable beds, it smells nice and is always very clean.
Pros: I love this hotel. The fireplace is very nice and the river running by makes for a perfect ambiance. Staff is nice and the rooms are always clean and practical
Cons: The exterior light shines right in the blinds on my face in bed. There was no way to block it without proving a pillow on top of my body
Pros: It was right across the street from hot pools. There was a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, no hair dryer.
Cons: Very dated, staff never there, no cleaning/room services. Furnace took 6 hours to heat and bathroom was freezing, TV dated. Dresser in pieces with pieces stuffed along side of it. my four-year-old daughter got a cut on foot. Barely any parking. No wifi.
Pros: The location and the room had a door that lead to the outside which was nestled next to a river. Beautiful!
Cons: Not really
Pros: Convenient and cheap.
Cons: Very dated
Pros: Low price motel, but actually an awesome place to stay. Some bad reviews lowered my expectations but as a group of college kids we still wanted the cheapest place we could get. It's actually a pretty nice place, and right across from the hot springs.
I loved the running creek out my door and the porch that overlooked the creek. It was a little noisy from the hot pools close by but not in a disturbing way.
Pros: It was comfortable, easy to access, and made my long trip more pleasant. Staff was accommodating to my schedule.
basic hotel, good and cheap!
Pros: Great location, nice staff, good coffee. Pretty bare bones, but clean.
Cons: Doors a little unsecured
Pros: The location, price was decent and checkout time was awesome
Cons: We didn't have enough toilet paper & both days we ran out while the office was closed
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Needs to be updated decor was awful. No closets, old tv, no wifi etc

Pros: The Hot Spring pools on location are really nice and secluded. It's really nice to be away from the main pools which can get very crowded. The staff was very friendly as well.
Cons: Some found it and surprise you had to share the bathroom facilities with several other rooms; However, I did research prior to the trip I knew this ahead of time, so just be aware.
The most annoying thing was that I was charged $20 extra for my two-year-old. I can't see how a two-year-old uses $20 worth of amenities… had I known this and at the time of booking I would never have stayed here.
The beds are extremely uncomfortable and very old and do you need to be replaced two days later my neck and back are still hurting.
