Rooms were clean and staff was very accommodating!
It really was great for the price
Friendly staff, quick check in and check out process. They were able to get me an early check in, I arrived at 10 AM and was able to get right into a room.
Well-Maintained and Clean
A friend and I had a double room in this hotel and we found it to be well-maintained and very clean. The beds were VERY comfortable and my friend and I both slept remarkably well during our two-night stay. The common areas were also clean and well-maintained. All the staff were very courteous and our check-in was quick and efficient.
Although it was not much of a problem for us, the noise in the corridor was fairly audible through our room's entry door.
Housekeeping went beyond personal requirements for room restore during stay.
Beautiful but couldn't wait to leave!
I loved the room itself. It was nicely updated with great features. The bathtub was large, and the bathroom was nicely inviting. The bedroom was relaxing, and the warm recess lighting added to the calm ambience. Lights, outlets, and space was plenty available. The fridge and microwave was also a beneficial spec. I felt very at home. The staff was phenomenally friendly, and the hotel was beautiful for what you pay.
The acoustics and noise polution was abysmal! I have stayed in many hotels, and I have never experienced such racket. Marriott is my favorite chain for small stays, and this location's sound is the worst. I would rather stay in a dirtball hotel than this place again. At least I would get from it what I need, SLEEP! Everything that went on in the hallway sounded amplified into the bedroom. Every time a door slammed, a maid knocked, or someone spoke, both my guest and I heard it, quite clearly and loudly. It continually interrupted our sleep. On top of that, I swear to you, the elephant olympics was taking place above me. Or maybe it was a jump rope contest with giants. I have no idea, but since 6 a.m. till 11 a.m., prodigious thuds, thumps, and banging reverberated down through the space into my bedroom, causing us both to lose sleep. Once again, I've stayed in hotels where you couldn't hear much of anything around you. This hotel is not one of those. I left frustrated, achy, and with an exhausted mind and body. I didn't even bother to shower or get ready for the day, just packed and left. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I would love to stay here again, but I simply won't since I can't actually sleep where I'm paying to sleep.
Not worth the money
It's newer built so everything seemed new or newly renovated. There was plenty of parking outside...
Unfortunately there was more about the hotel we didn't like at all. The staff that greeted us was rude. Upon getting into the room, it was super small and I listed on the website that there were 3 people (I didn't specify that one was a toddler). There were no USB outlets or plugs to charge a phone. My son, upon wondering the room, found two beer bottle caps. We decided to go swimming, and the minute you opened the door - the chlorine smell almost knocks you over. We decided to give it a try, but only lasted 5 minutes before the chlorine was burning my eyes. I noticed they were out of towels, so I went to the front desk to ask for more. The man behind the desk was rude and arrogant and seemed like I was bothering him. He said they were out of towels. I asked if they had anymore room towels then, since we would have to use those up, he said nope - all out of those too, and he picked up a phone call, cutting me off from finishing what I was going to say. I had to dry my toddler off with hand towels for a bath and my husband and I had to share a towel. That night, I had severe asthma from the chlorine. The next morning upon checkout, I was on the hunt for a manager. I noticed there was one behind the desk. When I handed her the room keys, I told her quickly about what all had happened. She said she was sorry - that the man I described can't handle things very well and he's been talked to a few times. Really?! Then why was he by himself last night? All we were offered was food or coffee for the road. She didn't offer to adjust our rate or anything. For almost $180 a night - not worth the money AT ALL. Don't stay at a place like this where they don't value your investment.
Quiet and comfortable stay
Guest rooms are newly remodeled, very comfortable and quiet on the side of hotel that does not face 11/15. A/C unit also surprisingly quiet for an inexpensive hotel. Staff were pleasant and professional and manager asked about my needs. Provided day passes to a local Gold's Gym as the public areas of the hotel were still under construction as part of top to bottom remodel. I will stay there again when I visit family in the area.
I was not notified that hotel was being remodeled when I made reservation. Very few guests staying there but that could have been due to holidays as well. Public areas on the ground floor were under construction and not completed by the time I left.
